Janet: My friend goes to Universal often (she has an AP) so if you have any questions let me know and I'll try to find you the answers through her. Also she's eaten at Bubba Gump and said it's GUD (even ate shrimp and she hates seafood) and she said another restaurant called Pastamore in City Walk.

I've only eaten a few places in Universal/IoA. Are you doing both parks? The food at the Jurassic Park place is good and definitely take earplugs to US/IoA for Jimmy.

As for the paper bag scrapbooks, I know Jen2 is an expert at them...but you have to wait 24 hrs to ask her...

Jo: I knew about the gift card & FP thingy but that's only for APers and of course with my lovely luck my seasonal blackout dates are 4/4-4/17<<~~~my bday. So I can't get the gift card.

I was curious because the boyfriend's bday is coming up and we're going, but I was wondering if he can put the Park Hopper on his bday ticket. That sucks that you can't, but it did say on the WDW rules for the promo that you can get a discounted 3 day play pass or something. I'll find out when we get there.

So I finished getting my car maintained and stopped to pick up some groceries and decided to take a back road home to avoid the traffic on the major street and there was some slow old guy in a van, so I decided to pass him and then I got pulled over.

And got a ticket

And things have been crappy since then.

The boyfriend supposedly has a connection with someone and "took care of it". So we'll see.

Still, I've been crying ever since because it's not in my budget to pay a $200 ticket.

Anyway, I'm gonna go take something for my headache from all my frustrated crying and relax.

You too CE. Good idea shipping car seats to the MIL's. We have a booster seat we keep at my mothers for just that reason. One less thing to lug around! Here in PA they have to be in a booster seat until they are 8 or 80 lbs. I think in Florida it is 5, but we don't tell Jimmy that!

Yeah, we were good at 6 in NH, but they use them anyway, they like them for the cupholders. TN, when we go to D's dad's, is 9 and 60". Heck, TE isn't 60".

I think we decided we have to take the big bag because we have to take the boys' snowpants and boots - it's supposed to snow off and on the whole time we're there, and they hate being cooped in her house. There's very little "kid friendly" space - the house is gorgeous, but not comfy, if you KWIM.

Just back from the dentist and everything went well. There was no decay or futher crack of the tooth, so just and xray and reseal. Total $114!! Not that I wanted to spend $114 on my teeth, but it could have been worse.

Like Rainforest, it has a bunch of rooms. We were just in front of the Ice Cave. Instead of periodic thunderstorms, there are periodic asteroid (meteor?) storms.

Very cool, that will be a must do for us next time.

Just got a call from the in-laws...slow start for them yesterday so it sounds like they'll be here in the morning. But it came with a warning...maybe tonight. So, why bother calling? I still have no idea when they will be here. But, they are coming for #2s birthday, and he doesn't know, so the surprise will be nice for him.

Self, 202. I need to lay down again for the half hour I have before the boys come back. They'll do homework, and Woody needs to go shoe shopping - his gym shoes have a hole and "something poking me" which is not so good.

awww I'm so sorry about the ticket!! Double check that all the info id correct because if there is a slight thing wrong (the address a # anything) it can get thrown out.

And if your bf doesn't make nice nice with u and stop u from crying i'm gonna come down there and beat his butt!!!! If u need to talk i am but a phone call away!

OK so I need that baked french toast recipe that was going around when the holidays were here! We got a loaf "new years" bread from our greek friend (pants) and its like a sweet challah bread and would be awesome as french toast!

And thanks everyone for the hugs. It means the world to me to have you guys to talk to!

Here's the recipe Kat (sorry to everyone on a diet, including me):

1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
2 T light corn syrup

Cook these three until they just begin to thicken and pour into 9x13 pan.

12 slices of bread

Place 6 slices on top of syrup and then layer the other 6 slices on top.

6 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups milk
1 t. vanilla
1/4 t. salt

Beat these well using a mixer or blender and pour over bread. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Cover and chill for at least 8 hours (or overnight).

Bake at 350 for about 50 minutes or until lightly browned. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve warm.

Thanks for the pics V! It looks awesome! My cousin and her DH were just down there for New Year's and ate there and they said they really like it. Her DH really liked the blue ice room as well.

Yoga was good last night but hard. I'm not bendy at all, apparently! LOL. Gus liked it very much though and wants to do it next Wed. too. SD came and worked out for the hour and he LOVED IT. I was hoping...

This morning was my appt. with the therapist. It went great. She said that she doesn't think that I have depression but that I have some hormonal and PMS related anxiety issues that will be helped with a low dose anti-depressent. I have an appt with my family dr. to get a prescrip. tomorrow. I am feeling GREAT just having a plan!!! She was wonderful and I'm seeing her again next week. Thanks for all the support. You all would have laughed when she asked if I had a good support network and I said, "Sure, they are online but they're REAL." LOL!!!

Today Gus is going snowboarding on his new board for the first time. He's OVER the moon! He can't wait! I'm glad to have a day off the gym. I'm so sore!

I am going to start packing my bags for the trip this weekend! YAY! Hope you guys are all doing well. I am so far ahead of the game today, I actually made dinner for tonight YESTERDAY!

My lunch was very nice, the 2 PR girls were lovely, we chatted for ages and it was so comfortable. I told them loads of things they didn't know like waking Tink or the candy lady at Japan, it was so funny. They're sending out all my press stuff on Monday to my local paper, TV and Radio and to some national papers so it will be interesting to see who takes it up! They want me to send them my excel planning sheet as they love the idea

NOT TOO BAD

Joshua was anxious... and got scared when he was asked to have an x-ray taken .. ( The one that spins around your head and takes a WHOLE picture of your mouth)

I could tell he was scared.. and I totally prepared to stay in there with him.. I do not care about the radiation.. that's my kid..

But he stood "Still as a Statue" as we say around here.
He tolerated the lip stretching for all those 'Mouth" pictures they take.

Next came the Impression....

Well he began to gag .. Thought we was going to lose him as he began to panic... But he calmed down.. so we got the lowers done

Now to the uppers.. They sprayed him with a topical to numb him HOPING that he would not gag.. BUT HE GAGGED .. and he pulled it out.And began a repeating nightmare.. for about 20 minutes


So I convinced him to try it again... now that he knew WHAT TO EXPECT
While he did not want to go through that again .. he wants braces so he says... I told him" We can't have braces WITHOUT doing this Impression"

So we tried again... and he Gagged... again... BUT.. He did it
Thank GOD that stuff sets fast. We go back in a month.. and discuss the when and the WHAT !!
