After a nice nights sleep, I woke up before my alarm and decided to get ready. As soon as my phone alarm went off I woke the bf up and he slowly rolled out of bed and got ready.
We packed up and were out the door in good time, I checked out and we were off to McD's for some breakfast before heading to check in at our home away from home for today. I sang the bf Happy Birthday....badly....

and asked him if he had decided what park he wished to spend the day at. He had decided on Epcot.
After our quick breakfast at the gourmet McD's on International Drive.....has anyone eaten here? OMG they had so much food selection. They had waffles, and pancakes and crepes and so much for breakfast and they even had pastas and pizza for dinner/lunch. It was kinda weird. Needless to say we chose boring regular old McD's food.
We drove towards DTD to OKW where we were staying for the night tonight. (thanks S'late!!

) I knew our room wasn't ready since it was around 830am, but I figured we could at least check in and get our keys to the world since we were going to be on the
ddp and we could leave the car at the resort and hop a bus over to the park.
So we checked in with no problem (thank goodness), got our keys, and the bf got his birthday pin from our wonderfully fabulous CM that checked us in. He was so nice and a great way to start off the morning. I am proud to say that the bf wore his pin proudly.
We stepped out to the bus stop in front of the check in and waited for the next Epcot bus to whisk us away. The morning was a little cool again, the high was supposed to be 70 which is pretty perfect. I had picked up a times guide in the lobby of OKW and had a mini heartattack when I found out that Epcot had morning EMH today.

I let the bf know and was a little anxious because when the Epcot bus finally pulled up everyone waiting on the bus stop got on with us.

Oh nooo!!! We're one of "them" today!
I was trying to be optimistic thinking, well it's mid-February how busy can the parks really be? I'd soon find out I was kidding myself.
We got out and the bf stopped for a cancer stick

and an obligatory photo:
We went to Guest relations to pick up the bf's free birthday admission only to be told that we had to go over to the Will Call ticket booths instead. So we trekked on over and got his free ticket. The CM here was very nice as well and FYI we were able to add on park hopping to the ticket! (we paid of course).
With ticket in hand we passed through the turnstiles (the bf got some more Happy Bday wishes), along with the throngs of "thems" and stopped for some more obligatory photos:
I decided I wanted to be in some of these pics too, so I asked a gentleman who was standing nearby to take our pic and he was more than happy too
apparently this guy must've been a photopass photographer on his day off because he then told us to pose for this next pic.
We thanked him and were off into the sea of humans.

I was shocked to see this many people. I mean I know it was morning EMH, but wow! We headed towards The Land to get some Soarin' FPs (which by this time were already at 4pm

. Then we made our way over to Nemo
We explored the aquariums, found Nemo and did Turtle Talk. As we walked out I see all these people just standing around and I'm wondering what's going on. I look again and see it's the LINE into Nemo!

Here's an idea of how long that line was. Ok you know the water feature thing at Nemo with the seagulls? Well it wrapped all around that, then extended out across where you take pics in front of the Nemo character statue (like the one of my bf above). It was crazy.
The times board said Mission Space had a 40 min. wait, which wasn't that bad I guess and we decided to try that out. But first another stop

. After finding the stupid designated area (which tooks us awhile) we went to MS only to find the wait time was now 60 min. I told the bf no way! Then blamed him for not being able to wait.

Oh well. Test Track was way out of the question. Just to give you an idea of what the line for TT looked like. Imagine the where MS is. Ok now imagine the line for TT stretching all the way to MS.

Yeah....it was that bad.
So I said, well we're done with rides, even Spaceship Earth had a horrendous line. Off to WS it is!
Here's the Kim Possible station thingy, it's on the way towards the Int'l gateway across from the fountain area thingy on the floor.
I decided to start off in Mexico and work our way around. We had ADRs at Cape May and figured by the time we finished WS we could use our FPs for Soarin then head out to dinner.
At least that was the plan.
Up next.....crowds, crowds and more crowds.
