Day 3 - in its entirety


Another breakfast in the room and off to MK for rope drop. I called valet to have the car brought around and arrived via the monorail about 10 minutes prior to that little show they do. I headed off to ride SM one more time before the rehab and then proceeded to do BUZZ, CoP and TTA. I headed over to Adventureland and hit JC and Pirates. I need to tell you about an idiot who was walking through the queue area behind making these noises that were obviously scaring other people’s kids. Think he cared, nope. Luckily he was not put in my boat. After that I wandered over and hit BTMRR and then off to HM. Crowds weren’t bad since I got all that done by lunch. By now I was getting hungry and nothing in MK was appealing to me today. I remembered our very own V talking about some yummy grilled cheese over at the Poly. So I hopped on the resort monorail and headed to Captain Cook’s. V, I owe you for this , OMG it was dee-lish! And those yummy chips that came with it too. I grabbed a table outside and just enjoyed my surroundings while devouring that grilled cheese. On my way out I noticed the desert case and got myself a giant chocolate chip cookie to eat on my way out to the MK parking lot, which wasn’t a far walk since I had gotten a pretty good parking spot earlier that morning.

Realizing I should rest my feet some more I headed back to BWV and napped (and I think read some of my book). For dinner that night I headed over to BC and Cape May Café. It has been a good 10 years I think since I was last here for dinner. Now, I did like it but I don’t know if it was worth $30. I can get better and fresher seafood around here, they did have some yummy desserts though. What I didn’t understand is, they open at 5:30, I had a 5:45 ADR and couldn’t get seated until after 6. How do you get that far behind 15 minutes after opening? It wasn’t a bad wait, wandered the BC marketplace then found a bench to people watch. After dinner I headed over to WS and just wandered around, got a bracelet in Morocco for someone that works for me (OK I got one for myself too) who really stepped it up during year end and then I stayed for Illuminations.

Well as stated I have been down with whatever has been going around, feel somewhat decent today and even managed to get my taxes done thanks to Turbo Tax. Yeah, getting a refund from fed and state!

and they had a copy of the Thomas Kincaide painting about 8.5 x 11 I think. I bought one and will get a frame around here. Last year they only had the giant size one and the postcard size one.

As soon as they got outside, jerk says to next door neighbor, "come on let's go play in my house; sorry H, 3's a crowd so you can't come in." Jimmy's got all kinds of interesting things coming out of his nose (TMI? Sorry ) I'm going to keep him home from school tomorrow and maybe on Tuesday. Hopefully I can get him in to see the doctor tomorrow in the am.

Jim is still sleeping, Jimmy is watching Word GIrl and I am catching up here.

Today is cleaning day. Ugh. But, since we were outta town last weekend it didn't get done.

Jon has now been in bed since Friday night. He's hurting...and that's what kills me.

His ped called yesterday and we have to go into the ped first thing in the morning for more tests. They'll be looking at his heart more closely to ensure that the rheumatic fever has left no damage. And we'll have periodic check-ups over the next several months to check.

I crashed OUT last night. The earliest I've gone to bed in a loooong time.

all around. Hope everyone has a happy, healthy, lovely day. And I hope all of our sickies get better.

URGH. Poor KC has been on the ding dang phone all day dealing with some work issues. Which means I am stuck with no TV to watch because it's in the same room as him and the phone. SO I have been trying for 2 hours to watch "Dollhouse" from Friday night. MEH.

I feel bad for him but I'm bored! LOL. His shift officially ends in an hour but I betcha he's gonna be working late today. Joy. At least I ahve this slower than you-know-what laptop to use, it only took me like 30 min to catch up here.

Doing spaghetti and meatballs for dinner tonight so that is nice and easy. Definitely am keeping Jimmy home from school tomorrow. Going to call the ped first thing in the am to get him in to see them. I think his cold has morphed into a sinus infection

I think they did have fun at the dance. Eric said that it was crazy busy, but DD7 seemed to have a fun time. They didn't actually dance much, but there were various activities to do as well.

So, I had a great morning! I found out through a friend of mine on FB that her church was featuring my favorite Colts player in their services this morning! So, I figured out a way to attend! That's right, I spent the morning with JEFF SATURDAY!!!!! It was great! He and his wife spoke about their journey to the Colts and their life together. It was awesome! I'm hoping that the church will put it up on their website as a podcast.

Anyway, I'm just trying to get laundry done. I've also got to figure out my grocery list and head there eventually. This week is hopefully going to be pretty light for me, so I'm hoping to stay caught up around here. And if I can't, I know that I can count on Kristel to keep me in the loop!

Hubby is taking the kids skiing today and I am going to clean my house and try to edit pictures and upload to Costco. I have another scrapbooking weekend next weekend. One of the people going with me and I were going to scrap Disney, but she doesn't want to yet. Problem is, I can't make the next retreat because of TINK's dance recital, so I may just have to scrap Disney without her.

Hello everyone!

for all the sick peeps. Bob still feels pretty bad but SD is looking like he's feeling better. My nose is running now and I really hope that doesn't mean I am sick. I just had a bad cold!!!

So, today we drove 2 hrs each way to pick up Gus' new friend! He's so dang cute it's unbelievable. He doesn't have a name yet though because Gus is still trying to decide. The breeder we got him from was so wonderful. He gave Gus books and all kinds of info on having a pet rabbit. He gave us food and hay and water to get him started and wrote down EVERYTHING we needed to know. Gus is feeding him hay right now and he's gobbling it down. Here's a couple photos of little "no name."

We had flank steak, fries and broccoli for dinner. I have the race taped so I'm watching that while I type. What are you guys doing?

I am finishing up on my bathroom scrubbing and laundry. Off da, what a task. But my bathrooms are cleaner than they have been in months! btw... DH ususally cleans them... explains everything, huh.

My family is on there way home from skiing and dh is picking up Subway. I think I am going to take a bubble bath in my sparking clean bubbler tub.
