Yes, but it really, really sucks, in my opinion, to therefore then be in school until June 24th. I'd rather have the one week and be done before Father's Day. :sad2:
This is what our district has done. We only get Mon/Tues off for President week. Then we get a week in April and we get out of school on June 12th or so. I like this WAY better!

Oh, no. I sent Buzz off - he seemed fine, but a little worn out still. He REALLY wanted to go, so... I hope he doesn't need to come home, but we'll see. It's already after lunch for them, so I am hopeful he's OK. He was just still really congested this morning, but said he felt OK and didn't have a fever.
Well, he almost made it. He got to Physics and just couldn't hack it anymore. He said, "Mom, I tried but I can't work out a physics problem and blow my nose at the same time!" LOL. Poor kid. He'll have to make up the time in Saturday school though, and he's not too pleased about it.

I did come into relieve the day person so he could go home since he had to come in 4 hour early to cover for me but I still feel so guilty as I am usually so responsible with my shifts! :guilty: :sad2:
As the others have said, Lessa, you shouldn't beat yourself up over it.

Hormel reports that sales of Spam are way up. So, which one of you is eating Spam?
Ewwww. Not me.
Mel does not eat cannet meat. Blech.

where is everyone? donde esta la gente? :confused3

Pet Society is down and I haven't sent any requests today; where in the world is everyone? Buying stock in Hormel?
Nope. I was picking up my kid. And baking two banana breads!

So it;s KC's only day off and we are adjusting the entertainment center to fit the new projector TV his uncle gave him. It actually works out really good for now, he takes down a picture above the couch and it projects right there, across from the reg tv. He can put his headphones on and play his games and I still get my TV. So far it's a decent set up. So taking everything down and dusting and now figuring how to put it back is what we are doing this afternoon.

How's everyone else??[/COLOR]
Cool! That's really neat that now you can BOTH do what you like! I cleaned house, made banana bread and catered to the sick SD. Bob's coming home in an hour and we're having BBQ Pork sandwiches for dinner.

Has anyone heard that they are laying off a bunch of people at Disney? It was on Perezhilton today. :confused3 I wonder how this affects your experience at the parks? Less CMs? Less mousekeepers? I wonder....

I drove the new car today. It's pretty nice but SOOOO different from my truck. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but for now I feel like I'm driving around on the ground! So weird.

Well, I think I'll go watch tv or read till it's time to get the macaroni and cheese made for dinner.

So close... ya can't help getting sick... but schools can make you miserable when you are.

Effective now ??:confused3

Kind of that Butt dragging the ground feeling ?? I hate that feeling when you are used to riding higher

AM I smelling something Polynesian ?? With a Hint of Monorail thrown in for good measure ??;)
::yes::

Kona, natch.
Meh - I've never been real thrilled with Kona. I like the crab cakes and salad and that's about it. I am all over Ohana, though. Leo's still enthused by the dinner activities, so I want to milk that as long as I can! :goodvibes

I'm thinking maybe a meal at EP?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

On my way home guys, but wanted to say THANKS for enabling, er... helping! ;) :grouphug:

DONE!!! I can almost taste the Lapu Lapus... :teeth:

Now.....

Where should we eat?! :rotfl:
Congrats! :woohoo:
I'm eating a the Kona cafe on my birthday. I can't wait. We also love to eat at Ohana even if we can't stand the lady with the annoying voice. :sad2:

Our favorite at Epcot is Coral Reef. I know other people don't like it, but I love seafood and the view is great.

"Mom, I tried but I can't work out a physics problem and blow my nose at the same time!"
OMG, I totally understand! That happened to me when working at a bank... there's just no way to count money AND wipe your nose!

Has anyone heard that they are laying off a bunch of people at Disney?
Yep. Honestly, it's not surprising anyone around here (meaning FL); we pretty much saw that coming. Sounds like they'll be streamlining services with DL, so it could be some corporate jobs, but I'd say it's safe to assume cuts in the front of the house at parks and resorts, too. Count on fewer cashiers, front desk, custodial, etc.

I would like that a lot more.

Poor kid. He'll have to make up the time in Saturday school though, and he's not too pleased about it.

Darn, I was going to ask if he had to, since he showed up at least.

You already send me lots of stuff. ;)

I totally agree! When we ate at Kona, my chicken was dry and dh didn't like his food. The lapu lapu was good, though. And we do like Ohana.

I would like to remind everyone that you have 28 shopping days til my birthday. :goodvibes

Is anyone else having problems on FB? If I try to work on a new list for my friends, it locks up and freezes my whole computer. Stupid FB. :headache:

only that Pet Society is now down another hour. Lots of folks losing their coins from yesterday.

Hey y'all....

We're back and with no new knowledge, except I did find out the pain Evan had this morning was unrelated to his lymph nodes. Apparently he hurt his "area" yesterday goofing off. :sad2:

Our pediatrician told me not to worry - and I trust him, but I think I'll keep on worrying like any mother would. :guilty: You can bet I'm watching him like a hawk! ;)

Thanks for the well wishes - I always know the Focker Mom/Friends are sending good juju. :goodvibes

NOW, then....

WHAT THIS ABOUT SPAM??? Has anyone had Spam Musubi? I haven't had the nerve to try it. My 1/2 asian SIL makes Spam and eggs with rice - a very popular dish amoung Asians and Pacific Islanders. Blech! :scared:

Katt - :thumbsup2 I did think about having my entire family cath'ed so we wouldn't have to stop for potty breaks, just have to empty the bag at the end of the day, but I was afraid of the looks we'd get. :rotfl2:

I think it's nap time - isn't Oprah on right now? :rolleyes1

I understand. I'm sorry.

But it's good you trust the ped.

I was just putting the kids to bed when D called. Messing with my pre-birthday wine... :rotfl: :rotfl:

See you later!
