:rotfl2: You guys are killing me! :grouphug:

Here's the scoop... I've got some great rates showing up with an AP discount in May. More on this to come in my TR, but summer vacation's been put back to early Aug., so I thought a long weekend in May might be nice. Just doing my part to stimulate the economy, right? ;)

The difference between the Poly and everything else is less than $100 for both nights, but I'm having a hard time swallowing it. I think it's when that first digit goes up that I panic, lol! I might resort to eenie-meenie-minie-moe.

Only $100! I'd jump on it! :yay:
The family suites is over $200 more for our trip and it's not availble now that I moved date. I'm bummed about smooshing into the POR room, but oh well... That's the way it is

You've got two nights, 3 days in what should be warm, sunny weather. Where would you stay?

I saw that ;)
I

Also- I didn't see Poly on the quote when I commented- I would pick the Poly in a heartbeat! Glad I could help some. :goodvibes

Want some enabling?.....That volcano pool is awesome! Wishes from the beach :cloud9: Great poolside bartender :worship:

What did you decide?
What books are you reading?
I just started The Time Traveler's Wife.

Oooh, I liked that one. In the last few days I've read "The Wordy Shipmates" by Sarah Vowell (she's on NPR and was the voice of Violet in the Incredibles, do you know her?), a paperback Nora Roberts, a J.D. Robb futuristic mystery, and a romance/thriller by Elizabeth Lowell. Nothing deep beyond the Sarah Vowell, but entertaining. :)

We got tix for the men and kids for all 4 days, as they were cheaper than half-days on the good deal, then the kids are really flexible. Women got all but one day. ;)

Why is it that I am 36 years old and I am stressed over my family finding out about stuff I did in high school? :rotfl2: My parents were really strict and kept really tight reigns on us

I think in some ways we're all always going to feel like kids when we think of our parents. ;)

WTH! And they get a Spring Break next month or April?!?! :confused3 Dude I wish when I went to school I got all these breaks and days off.

Yes, but it really, really sucks, in my opinion, to therefore then be in school until June 24th. I'd rather have the one week and be done before Father's Day. :sad2:

Yes, the Plan is changing again. ;) Stay tuned...

No... ;)

Hope everyone has a great day! I'll try to check in later!

You, too, busy lady.

Good morning, Fockers. :goodvibes

Nothing new going on here. School, dance... Maybe more organizing for the trip. :thumbsup2

 to everyone who needs them.

Have a good one!

Well Good morning !! My day off started at 3:30 am with a call from the overnite gal to tell me someones'***** was sore !:scared1: Thankou I really needed to know that at 3:30am !!:woohoo: Then I had a call off so spent the next hour fillinig it !

Sorry, Rosie.

Hi Jodi, Dawn, CE, Rosie, Kat, Mel and everyone I am sure I missed.

Another crazy day at work. I may or may not get to check in. Have a good one everybody!:goodvibes

Hi!

I have to clean this house for PC's Bakugan party. I am procrastinating.

Have a great day!

Ah, Bakugan. Have fun.

SD didn't make it. He's home. Poor kid.

Oh, no. I sent Buzz off - he seemed fine, but a little worn out still. He REALLY wanted to go, so... I hope he doesn't need to come home, but we'll see. It's already after lunch for them, so I am hopeful he's OK. He was just still really congested this morning, but said he felt OK and didn't have a fever.

Tennis was really fun, and now I think I need to go get my new stickers for the van registration. For whatever reason, in NH we do it by the birth month of the 1st owner, not by when you got the car or anything, so gee, Happy Birthday! Give lots of money to the state! It's not due til next week, but the last day is always lines out the door of the town hall (not the DMV, NH is weird...) and if I don't do it today or tomorrow, that will be my only option.

Anyway, I'll be back. :grouphug: to everyone!

I saw that ;)
Here's what's crazy - I actually FORGOT to include it for consideration! Then I started wondering if that was a sign? And, if so, what was the sign saying???

I may be over-analyzing this.

Wow. I'm shocked! I thought you guys didn't have such a great Poly stay? ;)

Same down here. I just love getting my "birthday card" from the state!

Mine and Jims dream resort is Boardwalk, although the pool there is skeery:scared: FOr less than $100 I'd go for your fav, which we all know is the Poly. Are you only doing WP's on this particular trip? If not, the thought of being on the monorail intrigues me. Sorry, no help I am sure:rolleyes:

When I look at my calendar, I have something to do each weekend beofre we go. That should help speed things up! Before I know it, we'll be on our way to Disney!

It will be here fast:yay:

Thanks for the concern on FB yesterday. I was just feeling a little 'ho hum' and didn't feel like trip planning. I knew that feeling was coming because my trip to Dallas interferred with me getting my hormones on time. I missed a couple of doses and it really makes a difference. :sad2: So, I'm getting back to feeling normal again. :thumbsup2 Thanks again. :grouphug: [/COLOR]

We don't plan every step of each day. All I do is plan which park on which day(s) and the ADR's for those days. Other than we kind of fly byt he seat of our pants. We have certain things that are jimmy's favorites that we make sure that we do but other than that we fly by the seat of our pants.

More on this to come in my TR, but summer vacation's been put back to early Aug., so I thought a long weekend in May might be nice. Just doing my part to stimulate the economy, right? ;)

Is this the Buffalo portion of your vacay?:confused3

Glad you liked your tennis lesson. Isn't this the one you don't really like the instructor?

Our registrations (on both cars) are due in July. Both of our birthdays are in June. My car was bought in August and Jim's in May...figure that one out:confused3

Leo's a big fan... they're EVERYwhere! :headache:
Mine and Jims dream resort is Boardwalk, although the pool there is skeery:scared:
Yeah, the pool's my problem, too. It's about the only one at WDW that Leo doesn't like. But the new rooms look sooooooo nice! :cloud9:
Are you only doing WP's on this particular trip? If not, the thought of being on the monorail intrigues me. Sorry, no help I am sure:rolleyes:
That is a help - no WPs this trip, but we'd primarily be there for the Flower & Garden Fest and to celebrate Leo's and Gramma's Bdays. So either a EP resort or monorail resort would be nice. I think I'm down to CR or Poly...

That's kind of the point we're at, too. Leo alwasy have specific things he wants to do, as do I, and we try to do them when their respective lines are shortest, That's about it.
Is this the Buffalo portion of your vacay?:confused3
Nope, I'm still hoping to get up to Buff. Aug. 16-22ish. But if I can't, you know where I'll be! :teeth:

Wow. I'm shocked! I thought you guys didn't have such a great Poly stay? ;)

The rooms were...unimpressive. The staff was....bordering on rude. But the poolside bartender may have more than made up for that.

Seriously, the grounds are fabulous. Second in my book only to AKL/V. And I REALLY like being on the monorail.

Jimmy is getting into the Bakugan...All I see is little pieces:eek:

You forgot expensive. The plastic marbles are $5 a pop if you can find them.
I have all these 10 year old boys so excited for the party. They can't wait to show off their collections, because they are not allowed to play with them in school.

I've never heard of it... :confused3 Maybe that's a good thing?;)

Morning Ladies!!

I started the morning opening one of those trick e mails where you are watching a car drive through a nice scenic mountain then a scary thing jumps in the frame and screams. That was real great.

I LOVE sending out that one... :rotfl2: How about the "girl on the Bike" ??;)

We just care about you otherwise why would I have called ??

I told Mel I thought something was wrong with me for feeling like I was done planning after making ADRs. I just don't feel like planning every step we take. I did that last time and I ended up in tears from the stress.
I feel like I just want to have fun,

You know my Philosophy on PLanning... LOOK AWAY T:scared1: and any body else that plans... ....:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Other than deciding WHEN I'm going and WHERE I'm staying... THAT'S IT... I HAVE PLANNED. :thumbsup2 We either decide the night before or THAT MORNING.. where we go. And just ride things as I get to them :lmao:( short a couple of FP's)
IF we have an ADR... then I Planned some more. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Last year was our first DDP.. too much hassle... I HAD TO BE SOMEWHERE AT A CERTAIN TIME.
Now I had 1 other thing planned... meeting Mel... :cutie: THAT ONE kept changing:rotfl2:

:confused3 I wish I could help, but I've never been to any of those resorts. I would stay at a monorail resort with great pools, if I could, though.
Good luck!

Me neither... But I've always wanted to stay at the contemporary... since I was a little girl and saw Pictures of Disney World.

Anyway, I'll be back. to everyone!

Our Registration is due The Month we BOUGHT the car.( unless you transfer the tag from your trade in) Yearly Inspections however due in the month the Dealer Received the car . On my last van.. my registration and inspection were all due in December.
Now My Inspection is in May I believe.. and my Tag due in November.

Then I started wondering if that was a sign? And, if so, what was the sign saying???

I may be over-analyzing this.

Nah !!!:rotfl2: I love that part about... if it WAS a sign... and WHAT THE SIGN WAS SAYING !!:lmao:

Why... :confused3 Sarabeth and I thought it looked COOL !!

That's why your my Deputy.....:goodvibes
I Love flying by the seat of my pants....:lovestruc Our lives are too planned as it is... So on vacation... I want as FEW SET PLANS... as I can get away with... and even fewer SET TIME SCHEDULES.

I slept most of the night... but my troublesome shoulders did DISTURB:mad: my sleep.
Done with Wal-mart. I need to put some Pork in the Pressure Cooker for Scott's supper, Do some laundry and prepare for the rest of my hectic afternoon.

LOVE MY GALS... ( and a couple of guys :) ) here !!
Catch ya later

So hand over the biggest idiot award, I royally screwed up last night. :headache:

This week is Reading Week(spring break) at the university so all the students have off from classes. Well one of my co-workers who usually works the midnight shift on Wednesday/Thursday night asked for his usual shift off so he could go home and I got slotted in to work it only I didn't realize it, I guess I wasn't looking at the schedule closely enough. Well I went to bed last night and woke up this morning only to find out that I was supposed to work and never showed up. :headache: I feel so bad as the person who was working the 4-12 ended up staying until 4am and then the day shift came in early to cover the rest. My cell battery was dead so when they tried to call me last night to find out where I was it went straight to voicemail.

Weird thing is that my boss and everybody else in the office don't seem to care and are just gently teasing me about it. :confused3 I am the only one punishing myself and feeling like I really screwed up, I thought for sure I would be getting in trouble. I did come into relieve the day person so he could go home since he had to come in 4 hour early to cover for me but I still feel so guilty as I am usually so responsible with my shifts! :guilty: :sad2:

Hormel reports that sales of Spam are way up. So, which one of you is eating Spam?

Don't sweat it, Lessa. Everyone messes up at some point. I think the important thing is that they realize it's rare for you to mess up, and they know you're sorry. It sounds like they appreciate you, though.

Maybe bring a treat in for the two people who helped out? That would be nice. :cutie:

I saw that on the news 3 weeks ago.I have not eaten that since I was a kid. They cited reasons of economy and people cutting back on things. Spam being cheap makes it a big hit.

Spam, Beets, Okra, Spinach, Hominy, Deviled Ham, Sardines... Those are "Tribulation Foods".. You would eat ANYTHING THEN.

That sounds so ugly ... :guilty: I know there are poor people that would really consider Spam or Deviled Ham a Treat.. ( oops.. no pun intended there) :guilty:

Yeah, I guess I just feel as though I should be "punished" and feel horrible. On the other hand I NEVER mess up and everybody else including the girl who stayed last night has done this before (either missed the shift completely or been really late) so they can't be too mad at me when they have been guilty of the same thing. I still feel so guilty though. Why can't I be like everybody else and not care when I mess up? I always get so anxious.

I think I am going to bake up some treats for the two who had to cover for me.

Good Morning everyone.

Evan's pain is back and we're heading back to the pediatrician this afternoon. I'm tired and frustrated. I want to know WTH is going on with him. :guilty:

I read, but not sure if I actually grasped anything - sorry... here's what I remember....

Mel - for SD - I hope he feels better soon.

V - Ummm.. hello?? The Poly, naturally. ;)

Katt - Yes, I'm a planner, BUT I'm not so anal as to not be open to going off my plans if something is not working. I find it much less hectic to plan which park on which days and where our meals will be and how to plan our scheduled attractions so that A. We aren't walking back and forth across the park. B. At meal times there's no arguments or treking here and there trying to decide what or where to eat. C. If anyone gets separated, they know where to find us. **coughWaldocough**
It works for my family - I think with a group of 10, you need some kind of plan. In fact, my family prefers it and loves that we aren't walking all over the place trying to figure out what the heck to do next. :teeth:

Hormel reports that sales of Spam are way up. So, which one of you is eating Spam?
