Well, he almost made it. He got to Physics and just couldn't hack it anymore. He said, "Mom, I tried but I can't work out a physics problem and blow my nose at the same time!" LOL. Poor kid. He'll have to make up the time in Saturday school though, and he's not too pleased about it.

Has anyone heard that they are laying off a bunch of people at Disney? It was on Perezhilton today. I wonder how this affects your experience at the parks? Less CMs? Less mousekeepers? I wonder....

According to mom it is mostly office staff and some parks staff. Mostly full-time positions`they save on the benefits that way.

Yep. Honestly, it's not surprising anyone around here (meaning FL); we pretty much saw that coming. Sounds like they'll be streamlining services with DL, so it could be some corporate jobs, but I'd say it's safe to assume cuts in the front of the house at parks and resorts, too. Count on fewer cashiers, front desk, custodial, etc.

We're back and with no new knowledge, except I did find out the pain Evan had this morning was unrelated to his lymph nodes. Apparently he hurt his "area" yesterday goofing off.

Evening Fockers Jimmy is in bed (and hasn't gotten out 700 times ). we are watching the Flyers game and just generally hanging out.

Not much going on here. I do have to send out letters for our Homa and School Silent Auction, but I think I will do that over the weekend. That's scheduled for June 6th.

The rooms were...unimpressive. The staff was....bordering on rude. But the poolside bartender may have more than made up for that.

Seriously, the grounds are fabulous. Second in my book only to AKL/V. And I REALLY like being on the monorail.
