I saw that on the news 3 weeks ago.I have not eaten that since I was a kid. They cited reasons of economy and people cutting back on things. Spam being cheap makes it a big hit.

Spam, Beets, Okra, Spinach, Hominy, Deviled Ham, Sardines... Those are "Tribulation Foods".. You would eat ANYTHING THEN.

That sounds so ugly ... :guilty: I know there are poor people that would really consider Spam or Deviled Ham a Treat.. ( oops.. no pun intended there) :guilty:

What about vienna sausages or potted meat?

Yeah, I guess I just feel as though I should be "punished" and feel horrible. On the other hand I NEVER mess up and everybody else including the girl who stayed last night has done this before (either missed the shift completely or been really late) so they can't be too mad at me when they have guilty of the same thing. I still feel so guilty though. Why can't I be like everybody else and not care when I mess up? I always get so anxious.

I think I am going to bake up some treats for the two who had to cover for me.
Awww. Try to let it go. No point in worrying. The seem to be okay, so don't stress. A genuine apology (and maybe chocolate) is all you can do. :cutie:
It's obviously a good place to work. At least they didn't try to make you feel horrible.

Glad you liked your tennis lesson. Isn't this the one you don't really like the instructor?

Nope, Thursdays are my favorite. It's not the team, it's just people, and it's with my favorite instructor. Tuesdays are the team practice, and they alternate weeks between the good guy and the annoying guy.

Our registrations (on both cars) are due in July. Both of our birthdays are in June. My car was bought in August and Jim's in May...figure that one out:confused3

That's weird. In Illinois, it was just when you bought the car, and we didn't have inspections. In TX, it was the same, except you had inspections. You inspected the car before getting it registered (which I think makes sense, because then if it doesn't pass, you can decide not to pay for the plates and call it a day.) Here it's by the birthday and you get the registration first and then the inspection. :sad2: Too confusing, I don't know how Kate & TE did it, moving around so much.

Our Registration is due The Month we BOUGHT the car.( unless you transfer the tag from your trade in) Yearly Inspections however due in the month the Dealer Received the car . On my last van.. my registration and inspection were all due in December.
Now My Inspection is in May I believe.. and my Tag due in November.
'

Now, the inspection and the tag being different months REALLY confuses me. Wow.

So hand over the biggest idiot award, I royally screwed up last night.

Honey, you obviously are a very responsible person and they all know it. It's OK.

Hormel reports that sales of Spam are way up. So, which one of you is eating Spam?

Eeeewwww.

I think it just goes back to demonstrating that you're a fantastic person. Treats are nice, but don't beat yourself up. (Hard, I know. I expect perfection out of myself on that kind of thing, too.)

Weird thing is that my boss and everybody else in the office don't seem to care and are just gently teasing me about it. :confused3 I am the only one punishing myself and feeling like I really screwed up, I thought for sure I would be getting in trouble. I did come into relieve the day person so he could go home since he had to come in 4 hour early to cover for me but I still feel so guilty as I am usually so responsible with my shifts! :guilty: :sad2: [/COLOR]
 Trust me - I've alwasy been able to tell when an employee's absence or lateness was truly an accident, and when it is and that employee is obviously already feeling awful about what happened, I see no need to harp on them about it. I'm sure that's how your boss and others see it!

DRAT... no meeting up with you in August... Maybe June.. at Busch ?? I'm much closer then :rolleyes1
Possible - I've got a slew of visitors coming in June, so we may end up at BG!

Evan's pain is back and we're heading back to the pediatrician this afternoon. I'm tired and frustrated. I want to know WTH is going on with him. :guilty:

V - Ummm.. hello?? The Poly, naturally. ;)
Hee hee - I already had your answer figured! ;)
B. At meal times there's no arguments or treking here and there trying to decide what or where to eat. C. If anyone gets separated, they know where to find us. **coughWaldocough**
It works for my family - I think with a group of 10, you need some kind of plan.
I'll vouch for that - these people moved like a well-oiled machine! I don't know about LL, but I just kind of motored around, not paying too much attention and enjoying the day, because I knew T had it covered! :rotfl: :thumbsup2

Katt - Yes, I'm a planner, BUT I'm not so anal as to not be open to going off my plans if something is not working. I find it much less hectic to plan which park on which days and where our meals will be and how to plan our scheduled attractions so that A. We aren't walking back and forth across the park. B. It works for my family - I think with a group of 10, you need some kind of plan. In fact, my family prefers it and loves that we aren't walking all over the place trying to figure out what the heck to do next. :teeth:

T Darlin... I am not making fun of you... I hope you know that
Most of the gals here Plan WAY MORE THAN ME. BUT if I had 10 people in my party.. then ::yes:: I WOULD PLAN MY UNDERWEAR :rotfl2:AND WHEN WE WERE ALLOWED TO GO TO THE BATHROOM

You've got two nights, 3 days in what should be warm, sunny weather. Where would you stay?

SSR Studio
BWI renovated std. room
YC non-renovated std room
CR
Poly
Poly. But if you think you will spend more time in Epcot, I would do YC.
For whatever reason, in NH we do it by the birth month of the 1st owner, not by when you got the car or anything, so gee, Happy Birthday!
They do that here, too.
I've never heard of it... :confused3 Maybe that's a good thing?;)
bakugans are very popular. They were hard to get items around Xmas, but I'm seeing them in the stores a good bit now.
I slept most of the night... but my troublesome shoulders did DISTURB:mad: my sleep.
Glad you got some sleep, but sorry the shoulder is hurting.

So hand over the biggest idiot award, I royally screwed up last night. :headache:

You aren't an idiot. They know you are a good employee. Try not to worry about it.

Hormel reports that sales of Spam are way up. So, which one of you is eating Spam?
 Not me.
All this nasty food talk is making my lunch lurch in the tummy! :scared:
:rotfl2:

I just ate the driest piece of chicken for lunch. The Spam may have been better.

T - Hope Evan feels better soon and they figure it out.

How about Neese's liver pudding? That has to be the most disgusting thing ever! :scared:
Thankfully I have never seen that mess... But can it be worse than "Scrapple" ?? I bet Janet knows what Scrapple is.. I see it on menu's in PA. Eat that stuff and your Blood just grinds to a HALT:rotfl:

.

Evan's pain is back and we're heading back to the pediatrician this afternoon. I'm tired and frustrated. I want to know WTH is going on with him. :guilty:

T- I must have missed the post about Evan feeling bad again. I'm sorry. I hope you get some answers.

where is everyone? donde esta la gente? :confused3

Pet Society is down and I haven't sent any requests today; where in the world is everyone? Buying stock in Hormel?

Well I work today....all day basically...:guilty:. It's my punishment for taking Sunday off to try and recover. Oh well.

I'll catch up later! Don't be too chatty. :flower3:

Don't work too hard!

You've got two nights, 3 days in what should be warm, sunny weather. Where would you stay?

SSR Studio
BWI renovated std. room
YC non-renovated std room
CR
Poly

I'm going with the Poly because I really wanna stay there, but a second choice would be CR.

So hand over the biggest idiot award, I royally screwed up last night. :headache:

Stop it, it happens, and since no one is mad at you , you shouldn't be mad at you either!

Hormel reports that sales of Spam are way up. So, which one of you is eating Spam?

OK confession time, I like it, but only seriously fried up. Flame away.

Good Morning everyone.

Evan's pain is back and we're heading back to the pediatrician this afternoon. I'm tired and frustrated. I want to know WTH is going on with him. :guilty:

  Good luck at the doc's.

%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

So it;s KC's only day off and we are adjusting the entertainment center to fit the new projector TV his uncle gave him. It actually works out really good for now, he takes down a picture above the couch and it projects right there, across from the reg tv. He can put his headphones on and play his games and I still get my TV. So far it's a decent set up. So taking everything down and dusting and now figuring how to put it back is what we are doing this afternoon.

How's everyone else??

no flames here Kat; your pantry might not be the only one containing Spam in the near future.

Pet Society is down and I haven't sent any requests today; where in the world is everyone? Buying stock in Hormel?

I've been doing homework with Sarabeth.. Board is SLOW today... was yesterday too.

So why are you going to be buying Spam ??
