We had a weird work day yesterday... we were closed to the public, but still had to work. So we examined all of our personalilties to work better as a group and reduce stress. Of course, half the group is slated for layoffs, which is the reason for stress, so the whole thing seemed pretty ridiculous to me. Whatever.

Gee, sounds fun AND productive... I'm sorry.

Good morning all. Another carppy start to the week. We had another cop killed over the weekend. The funeral is Friday. He was 25 years old and his wife is 4 months pregnant We will be dealing with that all week.

Oh, that's so awful. I'm sorry.

Need to call to make an appointment for Jimmy to get his hair cut, but other than that I will be checking in throughout the day.

D'oh, I need to do that, too. Buzz's hair grows UP, not longer, and he's got a patch in the back that must be 2 inches off his head. Woody's got a nice set of almost sideburns going. (Hair, not whiskers, but you know what I mean...)

I made it through tennis, had a ball, and played better because I was having fun. But I did have to come home and take more medicine. That's OK, when the boys have their lesson this afternoon, I'll go sit in either the steam room or the sauna for a while. Would dry or wet heat be better, do you think?

I also went to the grocery, but it was the first time since Friday - I'm doing better!

I forgot to share some good news I got last night. We can all use some good news, right??

I not only got a raise in salary for my outstanding performance this past year, I also received a promotion which also increases my salary! The second part was completely unexpected so I am very thankful and appreciative.

So with this and the extra $13/wk from the government - I'm stoked!

Congrats! Thats great!!!

We went to Epcot last night so I could practice some more. I'll post the photos later when I upload them. Had dinner at Chefs and really enjoyed it. Mitch had never been there and it had been a long time since I had. Our server was the most adorable girl, Emilie and the food was very nice. The only complaint was it was very loud and if I think it was loud, I know Mitch couldn't hear much. He can't hear much out of his left ear. Not sure what I'm doing today so I'll be in and out. Have a good day!

I am up early and couldn't sleep. I tried getting on the lap top and PUFFF! It has crashed! I am not impressed. What a day to start the day out on a bad note. All of my touring plans are on there and I have been working really hard to get them in order to pass them along to a few friends.

Well I haven't heard from the job, so assuming thats that. So the next month is gonna be a long one, waiting for the disability hearing on Mar 16th. I was getting used to having somewhere to go. Oh well.

Today I am catching up on my emails and doing a little junk drawer reorganizing. I am making my own sort of version of THIS for dinner. Minus the double decker idea. And watching some movies probably, because I went on a download craze again yesterday.

Darned if you do darned if you don't.

I have been having a problem with Heartburn lately. I found out is has NOTHING to do with WHAT I AM EATING....But rather that I am exercising.

In short The food valve at the end of the esophagus flips open when I exercise.. especially those for targeting waist and stomach muscles.

Worse is that is happens at night... and I have been awakened MANY TIMES not able to get my breath because the stomach acid came up while I slept.
I can treat the symptoms.. but that's it.

So I either keep dealing with this as I try and and get some of my long lost stomach muscle back... causing reflux and possible worse problems down the road... OR I leave the stomach muscles alone and suffer there


Where is the Medical Specialist and Dental Floss Killer when I need her ??

Oh yeah and my van...the engine died. So, I now get to share a car with my brother until I can save up the money for a down payment. I am so glad he only works for my dad and doesn't go in until the afternoons. I pretty much have the use of his car all day. The kids and I hardly go anywhere at night to begin with because I hate driving in the dark. My vision gets all funky.

On the positive note this will get me in shape. Especially with the nicer weather coming up I'll be able to walk DR to school and walk to pick Linds up. They both go to different schools but both are only a few blocks from the house. The dogs will love me for it too since they'll get to come too.

In a way I want to say they were free especially if they were telling everyone what brand and model they were and showing the logo on TV, but who knows they may have bought them. The show is definately a trainwreck for me. I love watching the kids and what they will say next but I could take or leave Jon & Kate.

Just put the kids to bed...thank goodness! We're suppposed to get snow tonight, not a lot, but still its snow. I'm so sick of this stuff!

That's great! I need to do mine. We were kind of waiting to get more info from Mass. - 2007's state taxes STILL aren't resolved. But I think I'll go ahead and do the Federal, because we can't e-file the Mass anyway.
