Katt - Acid reflux from exercising - that's a new one. I thought I had heard all the excuses. Just kidding. That is bizarre. It happens even when you haven't eaten in a while? Of course if you stop eating, then you won't have to exercise. Ok, I'll go away now.

Lori - I'm sorry about the van. I like your attitude about it. The one thing I've learned here is Fockers never give up!

I finally found all my junk from high school. Lord! I was nuts! The pictures are so funny. As soon as I get some of them scanned in, I'll start a PTR. Don't hate me but I don't think I will put it on the DIS. I will share some of the photos with you guys. Those of you on Enchanted will see the PTR. It's just too time consuming to do 2 of them.

Speaking of which, guess who is on Facebook - my best bud, Rockie! She wants me to join. I told her you guys scared me off of it. There are just too many peeps from the past I don't want to deal with, IYKWIM. She laughed at me and told me I was a wimp. Whatever!

Still waiting on the roofer to come by and throw a tarp on my roof. I'm hanging around tomorrow to get some more painting done and clean up the house. Thursday I'll be in town starting at 6AM. Who was it that was talking about meetings that suck? Well this one is for safety. Since the plant is in limbo, there's no money to fix anything that is wrong. Total waste of my time. Then going to get groceries and my hair cut.

YUP... HERE I AM AGAIN been awake since around 2:00 Sara woke me up and I can't go back to sleep. ADD TO THAT... I believe I have caught what the kids have had, I have a headache and and nauseous

From what my Dr told me.. it's a vicious cycle. Some people get it who are in great shape..others look like me. It's kind of like the heartburn you can get while pregnant.
Add a weak "trap door" at the bottom of my food tube.. being pushed on by my stomach.. and working the abdomen muscles and it does not take much food to make me sick. how about 4-5 bites of bakes potato and 3 bites of steak.. with part of a small house salad. A kids meal has more food on it. I got heartburn from Jello and Milk a few days ago. That's just not right.

I can treat the symptoms... but was told there is nothing I can do to prevent it. My digestive system is so slow... I can have not eaten since supper.. exercise the next morning and be sick the rest of the day. Tried a day of "Slim-fast".. but the previous day's meals were causing my heartburn. have not tried two days of NOTHING but liquid meals.. may have to try that.

It's 4:30 Scott gets up in 30 minutes so I am going to lay back down.

Hey girl, Has he looked for an ulcer yet? I internalize my stress and got tons of heartburn, uncomfortableness, had the laparoscopy (I think that is what it is called, it is the opposite of the colonoscopy ~Gee Whiz I hope they have separate tubes and cameras for those two procedures ) And I had a freaking ulcer. After they treated that, I did much better. I found that Mylanta is the best for a quick fix for heartburn, butt if you take a lot it can give you the poops. I hope you feel better soon, I hated it when I felt like I was sucking on the tailpipe of a Harley Davidson all the time.

Well, we all got up and got going, but when the boys were eating breakfast, I finally really looked at Buzz, if you KWIM. His cheeks were really pink and his eyes looked a little glazed. I asked if he felt all right. "Yep." I took his temp and it was just over 99, which happens a lot, and I don't really consider it a true fever, especially since he's congested.

But I asked again if his head hurt or felt funny, and he said, "No, but I feel a little dizzy." So, I said, "Well, I don't think you can go to school," and he said, "But it's only a LITTLE dizzy." I think it's great that he doesn't want to miss school, but I told him that even a "little dizzy" isn't good, and combined with the temp... I took it again and it was up to 100.5, so he's home with me.

I'm hopeful that this is a congestion issue and that we may still be able to get Woody to yoga, etc. He isn't acting too "sick" as far as being lethargic or sad, so...

He's back in his pj's and happy on the couch. I didn't have anything planned today, but I wasn't counting on hours of Nick Jr. and the Disney Channel, either.

Good morning! (indicative of the current weather, not my disposition )

Just a quick drive-bye to say hello since I've been pretty scarce lately pretty much everywhere online. No way I'm going to be able to catch up, but I wanted to give some collective to all those in need.

Given the economy, I should not complain about the amount of work. I think this particular project is because of the economy. In normal time, the project would have gone to a big firm, but it got sent my way as a cost saving move for the client.

The weekend trip to Charleston was great and exhausting. Saturday morning was a trip to Magnolia Plantation. Saturday afternoon was a scavenger hunt through historic Charleston. Sunday we visited the Yorktown and the other ships at Patriot Point park.

I posted some pics over on FB. I'm trying to piggyback a copy below from the crew quarters on the USS Yorktown; hope it works, and says working.

Well, I'm done with my coffee and breakfast, so I need to get ready and head in to the office.

Thanks, Dawn. I think it's really just the cold/congestion thing, as he's perky and so forth. I made him lie down because it seems like if he's not at school, he shouldn't be running around like a heathen, but it wasn't easy and may not last. I suppose he could start feeling worse, but other than that, I think he's OK.

Things have been absolutely CRAAAAAZY around here for the last couple of weeks...

i hope things get better. it's been stressful for us with the move, but i just told my husband the other day that we should be thankful we both have jobs with the way the economy is going. i hope it works out for you.

Did I tell you guys our TV died? We had a spare smaller one we were holding onto for our move to a bigger place, so it works but is TINY. KC's uncle is giving him some TV tonight, we have no idea what it is tho. [/COLOR]

it seems like things just keep going wrong around here.

Okay ladies don't be too impressed with my spending abilities. I only spent $100 at the mall but $40 of it was on a belt and another $40 of it was on a Blu-Ray so not that impressive.

I forgot to share some good news I got last night. We can all use some good news, right??

I not only got a raise in salary for my outstanding performance this past year, I also received a promotion which also increases my salary! The second part was completely unexpected so I am very thankful and appreciative.

So with this and the extra $13/wk from the government - I'm stoked!

I am up early and couldn't sleep. I tried getting on the lap top and PUFFF! It has crashed! I am not impressed. What a day to start the day out on a bad note. All of my touring plans are on there and I have been working really hard to get them in order to pass them along to a few friends.

We had a weird work day yesterday... we were closed to the public, but still had to work. So we examined all of our personalilties to work better as a group and reduce stress. Of course, half the group is slated for layoffs, which is the reason for stress, so the whole thing seemed pretty ridiculous to me. Whatever.

that makes sense. you might not have a job ,, but don't stress. wow!

Morning all! I think I'm headed to the Indy Children's Museum today. My mom bought us a family membership for Christmas and we haven't activated it yet. I don't have anything to do today and DD7 has a program after school until 5pm, so we've got plenty of time. They've got a new Lego exhibit that I know DD5 would love, so I think we're going to hit it up.

The washing machine arrived and I got 3 loads done yesterday - hooray for clean clothes!

Leo had a bad day at school, but finally has his first loose tooth, so I think Tues. was a wash for him.

Good morning! Both kids are off to school. No small feat, as poor SD has a bad cold!! He had to go though because he's out of sick time at school. In the H.S., if you have more than 8 absences in a trimester, you have to make up any time over that after school or on Saturday! SD does NOT want to do that. He has until March 4th till he gets more time off though!

Gus is completely over the moon today! We finally agreed to get him a rabbit for a pet. He's been asking for YEARS. Bob and I found a great cage/indoor hutch on Craig's List for $40. It's brand new practically and came with a dish, a hay rack, water bottle, toys, and brush. This saves Gus almost $150!!!! We contacted a breeder about a bunny yesterday and got the pictures and info this morning from him. The bunny is SOOOOOO cute! We are picking him up Saturday. I'll post pics when we get him home.

Today I was supposed to see my therapist, but I've made an executive decision and decided that a lazy day at home in my pjs is good therapy too. I'll reschedule her for next week.
