I am running some errands this morning. We're out of cat food so that means I must go to the store. Other than that not much. My roommate from college is coming in Saturday. She's from Nashville and her friend Valerie moved here about the same time we did so we've gotten to be friends. Leslie's DH is going to be deployed again so she decided she needed some girl time without her 4 & 2 yo before he left. I think we're drinking around Epcot so I hope the weather is nice. It's supposed to be colder but hopefully still sunny. Next weekend we've signed up for the Kim Possible thing. I'm happy that Mitch seems excited about it. There was a sort of review on the podcast, she didn't want to give too much away, but she thought she was going to hate it but ended up really enjoying it.

Sounds fun! What is the Kim Possible thing? I've heard that they will be introducing something but have no clue what it is?

Morning Fockers!

I think I'll be joining CE on the couch today and resting. My house is a mess but I am so not really wanting to pick up and get it organized. I'm keeping DR home from school since he seems to be coming down with it as well.

I'm hoping my van will be fixed by lunch time though. Linds is supposed to be going to the psychologist this afternoon and it might have to be rescheduled due to no car. I'm hoping if that happens it won't take forever to get back in. We're a small area so I think I have pretty good chances with it.

Other than that not much else going on today. Trying to figure out what I want to make for dinner. Either chicken or tacos. Probably tacos since I wanted to marinate the chicken and its still frozen.

Speaking of NASCAR...

My brother was over yesterday and had the race on. DR was facisnated and loved watching it. We know nothing about NASCAR and have no favorites so we just picked out which car we liked the best.

DR picked the Aflac one because it had a duck on it, my brother picked out the M&M one because it was in the lead and I can't remember which I picked out, probably something with the color yellow in it since that's my favorite color. Don't you just love how technical we are.

Anyways, this morning DR comes up to me with this page out of ESPN magazine with all these race cars on it. He asks me which one my favorite on the page was and I saw the M&M one on it and said I liked that one.

He then goes on to tell me that that one had gotten a flat tire during the race and that it had gotten into a wreak. (No clue if any of this is true though ). I just thought it was too cute that he actually remembered these things from yesterday.

I can see it years from now though when it comes to sports. He'll be naming off statics and plays about everything and I'll just have to sit and nod my head like I know what he's talking about.

Morning, Ladies! (and Mr. T)!

I've been lurking all weekend, so I am actually caught up. But it's still busy here, so I didn't have time to respond. DH has been sick since Friday. He's actually home again today, but I think he's feeling better since he actually took a shower this morning!

My kids are home today too. Tomorrow is a flex day that they took back because of the snow day we had a few weeks ago. So, at least DD7 will be gone at school tomorrow. Both girls are home today. Not sure what we'll be doing. I need to go to the Y and workout. And I also need to go grocery shopping. Hopefully I'll be able to do the second thing all by myself, since Daddy is home!

I'm feeling a bit productive this morning, since I've already registered DD7 for summer church camp and reserved two Girl Scout cookie booths at local stores. The cookie booth system opened at 10am and I got what I wanted, so that's good.

Hope everyone who is sick takes it easy and gets better soon! This crud (as CE named it) is pretty bad and sticks around awhile! I wasn't feeling too good last week, but I seemed to have caught only a mild version.

I'm going to try and be around a little more this week, but we'll see if that happens! Have a great week!!!

I'm home. I slept late and tried to catch up here, but the site was down.

We're all off school today too, so we're hanging around doing nothing. I'm actually thinking about napping, but B's washing the dog and I don't want him on my bed wet!

Kirt was great this weekend. He cleaned the whole house, (even things I don't normally do- like vacuum the closet), he did. He's a keeper!

We had a great weekend. We are so tired, but we had lots of good girl time with eachother and our friends. I just loved watching B with her friends, acting silly and running up the escalator. I'll have to post pics when I get some. My camera died, so my friend said she'd send hers to me.

I met my BFF from 8th grade and we had dinner. I hadn't seen her since 1992! It was like time had never passed. I miss seeing her more often. She's a great person.

V-day, absolutely nothing special. I was a little disappointed, the boyfriend just offered to bring me food at work for my lunch. I was so disappointed by this that I didn't bother agreeing to it.

I took me 6 years to get a surprise present for any holiday from KC so give him time.

Well today is gonna be on of those lazy useless days. I am trying to get motivated. But it's cold. And it makes me wanna go back in bed with the cat and read. But I should be grocery shopping. We'll see.

I haven't heard from my boss at all. I am going to head up to the store this afternoon and see what the girl says. I talked it over with KC and he said it's fine if I don't stay there and we agreed to hold the job search until my disability hearing (mar 16th). At least then I'll know whats up with that (I have been waiting for over a year for it).

Well thanks to our lovely S'late who pointed me in the direction of the Travelzoo website. (why I hadn't heard of this site before is beyond me!)

The boyfriend and I have decided to leave today instead of tomorrow for the Motherland!!!!

I found an outside hotel in Orlando for $32. Hopefully it's not too gross.

That's a tough one, I don't like having to go outside to my room, so if staying at GF I would have to stay in the main building again. I think with the girls though you should go with BC because of the pool. Or is this the December trip, then you might be better at GF with the decorations and it might not be swimming weather. Then of course there is staying on the monorail. But at BC you can walk to Epcot and boat to DHS.

I don't think I was much help was I????

Errrr We've booked GF for 10 days, we were going to do 5 and 5 but the price of the extra 5 was cheaper at GF than BC for me so that's where we're going BC one year though!

I've read that you have to sign up at Innoventions and you're given a certain time to check in at one of the countries!
