Went shopping for a few hours down in the States. I behaved myself though and only spent $100. I had the most delicious lunch at TGI Friday's and it was only $5!

We had a great weekend. We are so tired, but we had lots of good girl time with eachother and our friends. I just loved watching B with her friends, acting silly and running up the escalator. I'll have to post pics when I get some. My camera died, so my friend said she'd send hers to me.

I met my BFF from 8th grade and we had dinner. I hadn't seen her since 1992! It was like time had never passed. I miss seeing her more often. She's a great person.

The kids are home this week. they cant stop fricken eating!!!!!!!! Sam, whos 15 keeps ignoring my not so gentle requests to shower! its going to be a looooong week!!! I think I might head up to Mass and surprise my Mom tomorrow. with the kids.
maybe a movie this week. there are`nt alot of choices out right now though. Coraline, or Pink Panther. CE saw Pink panther. how was it?

Have fun if you go. I love the original Pink Panther movies, so we never watched the first of the new ones - I so rarely appreciate remakes. But, I admit that I chuckled some at this one, and the kids thought it was very silly and really liked it. Not that you're quite as concerned, but it was much more appropriate for 6 year olds than the originals, too.

I tried to sleep all morning, but couldn't quite get there, and then once I did, my mom woke me up on the phone.

I came down and ate a little, the DIS was down, so I went back up to bed. I finally fell asleep, but by then it was getting late, if you KWIM. I woke up in a start with about 15 minutes to go until the kids came home.

They're doing homework now, and we usually eat around 5:00 when D's not here, so I think I'll make it.

I don't feel much better. And I realized that the doctor's appointment on Wed. is actually the one I canceled because the doc left the practice that's 7 minutes from my house to one that is more like a half hour, and I never saw her anyway - always the RNP. So, I am staying at the practice and not with the doc, and the real appointment isn't until March. I might need to call.

My friend who plays the tennis team a level above me called this morning to see if I could play with her for a real match tomorrow (you can play "up" if you need) because they have a bunch of people sick, but once she heard me she said, "Oh, we don't want you..." Not in a mean way at all, but I sound (and feel) bad enough that I'm even considering skipping practice tomorrow if I'm not better - let alone play a match that counts for their team records.

I'm thinking positively and have decided I'll be better by morning, though.

Just a quick drive-by... gotta head to the grocery store and to TJ's - I drank all the Shiraz last night.

OMG! So I didn't buy the airline tix last night (couldn't find the dang credit card) and today when I went to buy them, the price went up! My lovely $120 flight on American shot up to $198!!! *******os!!

I guess I'll keep watchin' and hoping they drop again. Gonna keep the credit card on the computer desk now, though.

So we went over to Target and found a decent TV stand for the new TV and I tried out those gaming pods... OMG! I sat in one and couldn't get up. Andy was at me. I had to roll over onto the floor and then 2 employees saw me and they started at me too.

Some asked about Coraline?? I haven't seen it, but I read on the boards that it was not recommended for kids under 12. I think like Z said, some very disturbing content.

Hi V! I saw a book at Borders today called GratefulDead365. I thought of you!

I haven't heard from my boss at all. I am going to head up to the store this afternoon and see what the girl says. I talked it over with KC and he said it's fine if I don't stay there and we agreed to hold the job search until my disability hearing (mar 16th). At least then I'll know whats up with that (I have been waiting for over a year for it).

As said by others, I wouldn't go over there. They might need to rethink their treatment of you...

I've read that you have to sign up at Innoventions and you're given a certain time to check in at one of the countries!

We walked right up to the kiosk near International Gateway and they signed us right up and gave us a Kimmunicator! They let us pick our country, though he said if it's busy you might have to take what they have.

Went well. I only got penalized $330 for the scrape on the fender and it was well under the $500 they allow. I turn it in on Thursday!

Haven't seen it, but a friend of mine took her cousin (don't know how old the cousin is, probably tween) and she said that it's not really a movie for kids. Was kinda disturbing. Just FYI

I went to the store but the girl I know wasn't there. Apparently the managers are off today so I left my # and we will see what happens. I am most concerned with getting my $ from Friday.

I went grocery shopping, and am waiting for my delivery, I'm sure its gonna be a while it was CRAZY in the supermarket.

I also bought a new scarf to match my new Vera bradley bag...and it's LIME GREEN!!! Is it wrong that I love this bag so much I want another?!

Hey everyone! Long time, no "see"!

Things have been absolutely CRAAAAAZY around here for the last couple of weeks...

I've been knocked out of my "Turning 40" depression-slash-slump thanks to my "OMG - I'm going to lose my job" depression-slash-slump...plus it's been crazy busy at work. Just when I thought it couldn't get any busier...boy was I wrong...

We're having what seems to be massive job cuts and I hear we're on layoff wave #6...out of the 5 of us from my company on my job, 3 have been let go so far. The other 2 are me and my boss, who's been promoted to a bigger boss.

So where's that leave me?? Well, they've said that they have nowhere for me, but haven't told me that they're letting me go yet. Then told me that my last day on this job is March 13th...I knew I hated Friday the 13th for a reason...

We've moved out of our trailer and into the hospital for the next few weeks so it's been hectic trying to get everything packed up and moved out and unpacked and set back up, etc...

Plus I have to learn 2 other people's jobs - one's last day was this past Friday and the other one is this coming Friday and then the other guy who's last day was this past Friday left a bunch of stuff for me to do...

Oh and they finally told me to put our house on the market (hi - nowhere to go though... ) so when I'm not working I'm trying to get my house ready to sell. Realtors are coming on the 28th to do their market analysis and presentations, etc. UGH...I have a list a mile long of things I need to get done...

I need to be cloned, I swear...

Anywhoooo....I just wanted to pop in and say hi - I don't even have time to read and catch up but I hope you're all doing well - I really miss chatting with everyone. Hugs to you all!!

Did I tell you guys our TV died? We had a spare smaller one we were holding onto for our move to a bigger place, so it works but is TINY. KC's uncle is giving him some TV tonight, we have no idea what it is tho.
