So no one but me is up at this ungodly hour, eh???:sad2:

I was up and on the pc but left the DIS. :goodvibes

So how long were you there for???? And how come you suddenly need to be making stuff not answering phones?

It was just because of the holiday and how busy it was.

Kat, I generally avoid putting my opinions on anything happening in others' lives on teh web, but I jsut have to with this: please keep looking for another job. They've got all sorts of labor law issues going here, and, more importantly, you've got to take care of you!

I value all of your opinions, so please don't hesitate. I really am thinking more and more about just giving it up. The longer I don't hear from them the more I think that.

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

I haven't heard from work today at all and in about 5 minutes we are on our way to head to NJ for the RENT show, so if they call I won't be answering anyway. I think I may wander up to the store over here tomorrow if I don't hear anything and see what the girl over there has heard. She and I get along well and I know she will tell me what happened.

Since my disability hearing is in exactly a month I think I may have to justw ait to see what happens with that before I go hardcore looking for work, because if that turns out well then I am set!

Anyways off to the show...have a great Sunday everyone!!

D'Oh! That would drive me bonkers. So you only have to provide snacks 2 or 3 times a year? That doesn't sound too bad, actually.

That's it for the year. Each person gets a week. And I lucked out with President's DAy. Only had to get enough for 4 days:thumbsup2

:lmao: Sorry, Janet - but you soooo sounds like me.

It's just like the dollar store. NEver get out of there spending less than $30:sad2:

:lmao: Too late! Good news--I did NOT drive the tractor off the cliff........Bad news---I DID forget which way the bucket lever went and almost hit him in the head! (and I think he was cursing....but I really couldn't hear cause of the tractor.....sometimes my hearing loss is a good thing!)

I think this is why my mother likes the fact that her hearing aids have on and off switches:rolleyes1

Back from Home Depot and the new washer's coming on Tues! They had a sale - 10% off and free dleivery, which made it less painful. Got me a Maytag for $376. :thumbsup2

Great deal!:thumbsup2

I tried both. AirTran is $245 and Southwest is $189 EACH WAY! :headache: We get the best deals from AA, I think LAX may be a hub for them. :confused3

EACH WAY :faint:

Nope, you made perfect sense... this is what I came up with....

Take AA on the morning flight ... arrive MCO @ 4:30pm. = $130
Take the United on the returning flight leave MCO at 7pm. = $190
Total R/T $320!! Woo hoo!!! I win!! :woohoo:
ETA: Non-Stop - BOTHWAYS!! :teeth:

Now I just need to run it by the familia. :rolleyes1

Looks good. Don't run it by them, just book it:rolleyes1

Fantastic Mo and next time we meet tell me which Cadbury chocolates are your favourite :thumbsup2 BTW keep meaning to ask, if $ were no object BC or GF?

That's a tough one, I don't like having to go outside to my room, so if staying at GF I would have to stay in the main building again. I think with the girls though you should go with BC because of the pool. Or is this the December trip, then you might be better at GF with the decorations and it might not be swimming weather. Then of course there is staying on the monorail. But at BC you can walk to Epcot and boat to DHS.

I don't think I was much help was I????

Mo- Fun trip, so far. What is it like going alone? I have often thought it would be a totally different experience.

I love my solo trips, it's been over a year since I had one. It is different, I love being able to do what I want when I want.

No way?! I had no idea they were getting hard to find... and I'm about due for a new pair. :worried:

Thanks Mo! ;)

You may have an easier time, but around here there aren't many places to buy crocs so I am limited to online usually.
Sadly, yes. That's the thing that really kills us - the flights. I always budget at least $1600 for flights when planning a trip. :faint:

I hear ya, I paid $398 for my one RT ticket, I did pay charge it when the Disney Visa was offering 5 for 1, so at least I got 20 Disney $ back.

OK I didn't even know you found a job, but good luck with how ever it turns out.

My Dad was the same way;)

See great minds think alike.;)

Day 2 started with a wake up call, and you know what or maybe you do, no more Stitch, I think it’s just Radio Disney. No complaints, I couldn’t stand that call from Stitch.

Got up, made myself some tea and hit the shower. I had some breakfast and headed over to International Gateway for rope drop. I hit Soarin first (grabbing a FP before riding), then Living with the Land and by then my FP was just about due. Now when walking over to LWTL I noticed all the folks eating breakfast at Sunshine Seasons, don’t ask why I never noticed this before but whatever. Some of those meals looked pretty yummy. Any Fockers ever have breakfast there? I was thinking that instead of riding LWTL when waiting for the Soarin’ FP having breakfast might not be bad.

After riding Soarin’ again I headed over to the Seas. I love the manatees and the big aquarium. Jo’s track was next via the single rider line and then SSE. I also took the time to check out Art of Disney store, they have some really cool stuff in there. My foot was bothering me a bit and it was near lunchtime. I headed back to the land and had the turkey and munster sandwich with a side of slaw. The sandwich was delish, the slaw I would skip next time.

Murph had requested I get her 2 bottles of Gluewine from Germany so I headed there next. My plan was to have it delivered to the resort but they couldn't (I guess because it was alcohol :confused3 ). THey would only deliver it to the park entrance, well staying at BW that wouldn't help much. So I had to carry 2 bottles of wine back to BW, added with the bubble wrap to protect them on the plane home and that sucker was heavy.:headache:

By the time I got to Morocco, I wished I had thought to have them put in seperate bags to distribute the weight. Carrying the heavy bag was bothering my foot and I was praying there would be a boat at International Gateway and my prayers were answered as a boat was waiting.:thumbsup2

I made it back to the BW and collapsed for a nap.

Hey y'all!!!

G-Luv - I'm sorry you're not feeling well.

PV - I think that's a good deal on the Maytag. I've had a Maytag front loader for 4 years. No probs, knock on wood.

Mo - Great 1st and 2nd day. The sandwich at ESPN sounds devine.

CE - I hope the movie was good.
Lori -

T - ;)
I'm glad you figured out the flight dilemma. I'm facing something similar in Sept. I may have to go with 2 different carriers also.

Kat - I hope you had a good time at the show.

==============================================================

Nothing much to say. I'm at work.

I'll have to make a few phone calls in the morning which means I won't be getting much good sleep. :sad2:

Question: Is Earl of sandwich still on the DDP? It is still listed as DDP on the go disney site but I thought I saw or read, somewhere else, that it was not.

I will have to try out breakfast in Sunshine Seasons :thumbsup2 Don't you wish they had strollers just for packages?

Mel, Mitch has been sitting in the parking lot for 2 hours not going anywhere! :scared1: Excuse me, isn't there a race there every year? :faint: How are the traffic problems this bad? And they are trying to get me to go in July. No way!

Just book it:thumbsup2
:lmao: at you both!

They even called it early for rain! What the heck was taking so long? How long did it take for him to ultimately make it home?

Morning Katt! No, I was NOT up at 6:55 today.....I have the day off! My kids are off today and tomorrow, and really I'd not have even gotten up at 7:30 but the end of lease inspection on my Pilot is today. They said they could be here from 8-1....
Sorry your kids are sick. Gus is battling a particularly bad cold. I hope he's well by Wednesday!

Mo: Loving your mini-tr. Sunshine Seasons is one of my FAVORITE places to eat at WDW, and I had no idea they had breakfast. Yummy!

***************
Today I have the car thing, and this afternoon SD has an ortho appt. I think we'll try to get a family board game in there somewhere too. I am going to enjoy having everyone home while I can. Bob leaves next Mon. for Calif. for the week. Then he's done with travelling for a while! Yay!!!

Oh, and the race was really, really good yesterday. Until it got called for rain! ;) Kevin was 2nd and Clint Bowyer (my second fave!) was 4th! So, a great day for our team!

So, what are you people doing today!?

MEL:banana:

Morning all!!

Well all caught up, but didn't quote so what I remember:

Jo: :yay: on the laptop's return and your golfing win

V; :woohoo: on the washer

CE & Jen:  Feel better. Sounds like what I have (sorry if I gave ya'll virtual germs)

Mo: Loving the TR

Kat: I agree with continuing to look for a job in the meantime.

Jen: That sucks you still don't have your phone. I have the ATT insurance plan. :guilty:

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Well nothing terribly exciting happened this weekend.
Work was crap since I felt bad. I was suffering Friday night because I forgot my medicine at home and Saturday was just ok, but remembered to bring my drugs ;) . I switched with one of my co-workers to have Sunday off, so I just slept most of Sunday away.

V-day, absolutely nothing special. I was a little disappointed, the boyfriend just offered to bring me food at work for my lunch. I was so disappointed by this that I didn't bother agreeing to it. :sad2:

So doing nothing right now, might go to a meeting @ work and then gonna get ready to leave to the Motherland tomorrow!!

Later :hippie:

Morning lovelies!

Quick pop in before I drag Jon outta bed and we're off to the docs.

I had a fever allll night long. I coughed up a lung. And I feel like somethin' the cat dragged in. The dreams last night were CRA-ZY!

 all around.

I'll see ya'll this afternoon after we drive back home and I'll let ya' know how things went.

Peace and love, my friends. Word.

Miss you, too! Hope it's all going well!

[Kids have school today here.... HOWEVERE.... BOTH OF MINE ARE HOME

Oh, no! I'm sorry. Hope they feel better soon.

So, what are you people doing today!?

Morning, Mel! :goodvibes Not much, I don't think.
****************************************************
The kids were scheduled off today, but I think I mentioned that they took it back as a snow day makeup. Fine by me - we don't need a long weekend, especially since I have the "crud". :rotfl:

So I've put them on the bus and am running the dishwasher, and that may be my big accomplishment for the day. Tomorrow is my busy day, so I need to be better. I know that there are probably 15 things I could/should be doing, but I don't have anything I HAVE to do, so I think I'm honestly going to straighten up just a touch and then head back to bed or the couch. I never did nap again yesterday or anything, and though I did nothing terribly taxing, I just felt worn out. :(

I just checked my "master" calendar to add stuff into the weekly whiteboard in the kitchen, and I do have a scheduled doctor's appointment for Wed. morning, so that's good if this doesn't go away. It's meant to be for checking thyroid levels, etc., but it will work. :thumbsup2

Anyway, I'll be in and out today, and I hope you all have a fantastic Monday! For those who are off, enjoy the holiday! :grouphug:

CE & Jen:  Feel better. Sounds like what I have (sorry if I gave ya'll virtual germs)

It's OK. I think we got Lori, too.

So doing nothing right now, might go to a meeting @ work and then gonna get ready to leave to the Motherland tomorrow!!

Woohoo!!!

I'll see ya'll this afternoon after we drive back home and I'll let ya' know how things went.

We'll be waiting to hear.

Morning Z, CE and Gluv!

You guys are up early! Good luck at the Dr. Jen. We'll be waiting to hear.

CE: Nap! Liquids and napping. That's all you should do today!

Z: You too. Get well soon. Bummer about Vday. Don't hold it against him though. Some guys are just not that "smart" about those types of things.

MEL

Hi Rachel! :wave2:

Katt, hope the kids feel better.

Mitch got home at 12.30 and Daytona is 60 miles from us.

Mel, have a nice mini vacation. :thumbsup2

CE, hope you feel better too. :flower3:

I am running some errands this morning. We're out of cat food so that means I must go to the store. ;) Other than that not much. My roommate from college is coming in Saturday. She's from Nashville and her friend Valerie moved here about the same time we did so we've gotten to be friends. Leslie's DH is going to be deployed again so she decided she needed some girl time without her 4 & 2 yo before he left. I think we're drinking around Epcot so I hope the weather is nice. It's supposed to be colder but hopefully still sunny. Next weekend we've signed up for the Kim Possible thing. I'm happy that Mitch seems excited about it. There was a sort of review on the podcast, she didn't want to give too much away, but she thought she was going to hate it but ended up really enjoying it. :thumbsup2

CE: Nap! Liquids and napping. That's all you should do today!

OK. If anyone asks, I'll say that you OK'ed it. :) Thanks.

CE, hope you feel better too. :flower3:

Thanks! I had the weirdest dream last night that I spotted a picture of you on the back of a Sunglass Hut catalog, and your toenails were painted lime green, so I was SURE it was you, even though I couldn't see your face very well. I got all excited and told D it was you, but he didn't believe me.

I have no idea what that might mean. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oooh, that will be nice. I like girl time. :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone for the get well wishes! Still feeling a little achy but better than yesterday. DR's coming down with it now though and has a bad cough and runny nose. I just cringed at Lindsey's V-day party last week and all the sick kids and their coughing and sneezing on me.

Let's see what I can remember reading...

V - Yay on the new washer! :woohoo:

Mo - Your trip sounds wonderful so far!

Rachel -

Z - Get better soon and sorry about V-day. Have fun at Disney! Tell Mickey I said hi!

Jen - Feel better and good luck today with Jon's appointment!

CE - Hope you start feeling better today and rest while you can!

Morning and  to anyone I missed.
