I was not privy to viewing these little buggers IRL last Dec., however a good friend as just returned from the world and has begun a collection. Anyone seen them? I guess they try to suck the money out of us any way they can!

I'll have to check these out. :thumbsup2

Part of my roof blew off!!!
:eek: I'm glad you're both ok.

I had a dry cough yesterday, but then last night I spiked a fever and now I feel like crap.

And my throat hurts. :sick:
Kella Ripa says this works for sore throats although it seems strange. Fill a dirty, has to be dirty for some reason, sock with Kosher salt and sleep with it on your neck. Apparently it also works for ear aches. :thumbsup2

Well, she woke up vomiting this morning
:hug:

We had lots of wind here and a tornado watch---but all my goats are accounted for this morning!
Thank goodness. :goodvibes

I have nothing to do today! :cool1: Lots of things I should do but nothing that has to be done. Tomorrow I'm meeting Mo for lunch at BD and I'll try to get some landscape pictures while I'm there. Have a good day everyone! :goodvibes

Eewww! :rotfl:

Oooh, fun! :goodvibes Have a great day today, too!

Dudes........
Part of my roof blew off!!! I'm not kidding. We've had high winds all day and around 4PM we had a major blow-up. I thought we were in the middle of a tornado. It was very scary. I started seeing tree branches blowing and heard this huge bang. The wind knocked down part of our fence, wiped out our antenna, and tore off a bunch of shingles. Then the power went off.

I called the insurance and got a claim in. They didn't know when the adjuster would be out. I hope quickly. The tar paper is still down. I'm hoping there will be no leaks.

Doug is staying home tomorrow to better assess the roof and fix the fence. I'll try to get pics. What a mess!

:eek:

OMG, I'm so glad you guys are okay! :hug:

I was logging on to tell you that my iphone just hit the DUST! Totally on no level of Kristel's problems! But, I dropped in in the parking lot of Tink's dance studio and it totally is turning on and off and on and off. The top is smashed in. Here comes the 3G for me! :worship:
Are we sure this was an "accident"?! ;)

Well I feel like this smiley :sick:
Ugh, feel better Z :hug:

Well, she woke up vomiting this morning.......so I'm waiting on the doctor to open up
:hug: Hope the Dr. can shed some more light. Poor thing!

And as V once told me, stay far, far away from webMD.
True that! :rotfl:

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Hope everyone up north made it through the winds okay! :grouphug:

I'm juggling a host of technological problems. Can't login to the DVC site. MS Word keeps shutting down my computer. FB won't let me load a video. I just want to go home and read a book! :headache:

The wind wasn't too bad here. I heard a branch hit the roof about 4 am but that was it. :confused3

Oh snap!

I need to amend that comment above.

Just went out to drive Gus to school and I have TWO huge trees down (though they're hung up against OTHER trees, so they haven't hit the ground yet) next to my garage.

They're leaning precariously over the fence though! Dang it! I hate paying hundreds of dollars to have trees taken down!

MEL

I think it's only at the parks and you have to show proof that 1 it's your birthday(also pre-register at the main WDW site) and 2 you already have park tickets! Janet said about the mugs, we always share 2 between the 4 of us, they're worth the money if you drink lots of soda/tea/coffee but can only be used at your hotel!
Good to know, Jo. How do you show proof you have park tickets? With your KTTW? :confused3

Morning everyone!

Well, there is some peanut butter toast calling my name....

Mel:banana:
:cutie: Hello, Mel bow bell! :hug:

Well, she woke up vomiting this morning.......so I'm waiting on the doctor to open up..........and I'm "doctoring" on the internet---that's not making me feel any better as it says vomiting is not good. Plus she's stressed about missing school again--she's having a tough time with chemistry this year. She's getting a tutor to help her next week so maybe they can catch her up. I'm outta work again, but luckily I can catch up even on the weekends. (love my job for that)

Who's house blew away??
We had lots of wind here and a tornado watch---but all my goats are accounted for this morning!
Oh, TE! I'm sorry. Poor thing!

The goats thing had me imagining your goats flying around in a circle, then plopping down to eat grass. :lmao:

Yikes! :headache: Don't you have any anger issues you can take out on the trees? Kung foo them away from the fence? :confused3

Bummer, Mel. :guilty:

Today my morning is nice and slow, but the rest of the day is cray-zee! I have a ladies' lunceon at the church with a good friend of mine, then a check up to talk about my hormones, and Baylie's dance classes. Luckily on Thursday I don't have to go in until I pick her up. Since they compete, though, they may not get out at 8. :sad2:

Then, we leave at 8:30 tomorrow for Dallas. :yay: It's not Disney, but I'm glad to get it out of the way. :)

I am having a relaxing day today (well, until about 12:30 and then I'll clean the upstairs). The wind wasn't too bad here. I heard a branch hit the roof about 4 am but that was it. :confused3
Sounds like a nice deay.
Well, she woke up vomiting this morning..

Sorry she is vomiting. That's terrible.

Glad your goats are all accounted for.

Well, I'm up, but not happy about it.
You've had a busy day already!

Dirty sock is weird.

Have fun in Dallas.
On the Birthday card thing - we picked ours up at Animal Kingdom and they had us go to the Will Call window. Probably the same at the other parks. We had to give them the kids' annual passes and they scanned them, so you will need to give them your kttw card.

I finally found a way to get Baby Girl to listen and do what I say.

All I have to do is say, "I think I'm going to have another baby. One that will listen to me."

She immediately says okay and does whatever.

Now I'm not recommending this as a parenting tip. It's a terrible thing that will probably cost her years of therapy. But if I don't do it, I'm going to need years of therapy.:rotfl2:

Bad parent - I know! I've only used it twice - just thought it was funny.

Hey, man. Stay away from internet doctoring.

:hug: for you and that li'l darlin' o' yours. :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Buenos dias muchachitas.
:hug: to all the sickies and those that need 'em.
Busy day at work here. And busy week over the next week.
Tomorrow I'm going to Albuquerque for the weekend and because Jon has a doc's appt. on Monday.
We come back home on Monday and on Tuesday we turn around and we're going to Dallas with Tera and Kaia for a doc appt. for Kaia. We won't be back until Thursday.
That means I may fall way down on the Focker posting list. ;)
Hope everyone has a wonderful, happy, healthy day. :grouphug:
Eek, we have gotten so much rain the last two days and almost all the snow has melted, melted right into our basement! I woke up this morning and went into my study and the carpet was damp. Luckily it is not much water, and I am able to get it out easily with the dehumidifier.
I just want to go home and read a book!
That sounds like a wonderful idea. :hug:
Oh my! At least it's an easy fix. :thumbsup2
:scared: I'll stick with drugs.
Oooh! :goodvibes Tell her Hi!
V I just tried pricing and it seems they're having problems. Funny because it was working just fine a few minutes ago.
Mel that sux about having to pay people to remove trees. The county or whatever should remove them for free if it's caused by nature or "Acts of God" you should find out. ;)
So I'm still mulling over that stupid 4/3 deal and so far it's just too much money to justify it. I mean yes it's a good deal, but really not in our budget :sad1: . Looks like I'm just gonna have to settle with 2-3 days as opposed to a week. I really hate that Disney charges for more than 1-2 guests :mad:. Oh and I've come to the conclusion that the Disney reservation people tend to lie. I called and asked for CSR and was told by one rep that she only had POR & CBR availibility at moderates. I called back a few minutes later and asked for CSR again and there was availibility. :rolleyes: I mean I know people cancel all the time, but really?
Now I have to wait for the stupid website to come back up.
:headache: Wow! That's not good though. That happened to me once when we were having a really rainy season. The carpet that got soaked (which I don't know how it even got soaked) stayed really dark no matter what we tried.
Ok, don't flame me, but how illegal would it be to only put 1 person on a reservation? I mean really do you think the Disney reservation people would notice there's more than 1 person in the room? :rolleyes1
I don't think they charge extra for a 2nd adult. You could book with 2 adults.
We never get charged extra for 2 adults, 2 kids.
Z, I didn't put Alek and Erich on the room ressie in August. I refuse to pay $20-$40 extra a night because the 2 other people in the room happen to be adults and not kids.
As long as you aren't planning on buying the dining plan or going to any EMH I say do it. :thumbsup2
Good Morning Fockers!
Busy day here for us! DR and I are about to head out on the road for lunch, grocery shopping and do some returns at Walmart and Target.
Once I pick Linds up from school we have to head back around 3:30 for the book fair because Lindsey wants to get a few things.
Plus, I have about 3 doz cookies I need to bake for tomorrow for Valentine's party.
It's still really windy here. I didn't get a chance to watch the news this morning but did see a few schools north and west of us were either cancelled or on delays. Nothing major happened around our house. It has definately gotten colder though. :sigh:
Hope y'all have a good day! :goodvibes
