Just a super quick drive by Got to finish Sarabeth's Homework.. early Supper, early Band rehersal... LATE NIGHT :faint: Tired thinking about it.

We did the DDP last year... first time... I hated the HASSLE... I ACTUALLY HAD TO PLAN....;) To be in a certain park, and or a Certain Restauranrt at a certain time....

 Hi T I see you recovered ;) just in time too:lmao:

Yeah.. No Needle for Miss Mel

Thanks for the Well Wishes about Sarabeth's problem... still no call or e-mail

TE.. Fly to DL for Mickey's sake ;)

See you gals tomorrow

Of course, the official DDP brochure! And honestly Janet we liked it, if you don't want to do a sit down meal everyday do a 2 credit one or how about a character breakfast. I personally wouldn't go to Planet Hollywood and pay, even with the voucher, if you haven't used up all your credits! Oh and remember quick service credits can be used for take out, like packaged sandwiches often found at the food courts for your journey home!

That's what I was thinking about the CS too Jo, something to take with us to Universal! Thanks for the site!:goodvibes

:Errrrr nothing else to say :rotfl2:

:lmao:

Janet - I was looking at your dates, and realized I'm leaving the 7th, not the 8th, so adding 1 day won't cut it. D'oh! :headache:

Doh!

My dad, brother, family lawyer and trustee are all usually there. The stuff regarding my mom's will and trust is usually done in about 15-20 minutes. Things that still need to be taken care of, time frame, etc. The rest of the time is spent talking about my dad's accounting business and how it is doing. I want to see him stay sucessful and survive in the econimic times but it is all so boring! (The sad thing is I have my degree in accounting and you'd think I would get into it, but nope! That is why I'm going back to school for something else. LOL) Plus, having to tell my kids to stop jumping, running, climbing under tables, and spinning in chairs is not my idea of a good time.

Sounds like a grand time to be had by all:rolleyes1

:cool1: Mel...

ALright ladies I'm off to go pick up Jimmy from after school care. Jim has parent conferences to night so I am on my own. I may or may not be back before bath and bed, but I will definitely be back after bedtime..I'm still planning ADR's!;)

C youse all later!

Well, he's picking up the airfare (with his side business profits) and I can *maybe* swing food, hotel, etc. but a pin code would help. I think I can go 3/26-29.

They offer a small discount for Annual passholders but it's only good on Thur. . . .

Argh!

MEL

Wimp :rotfl2: No honestly it's a nice walk! We've been told that the Birthday cards don't expire, check when you pick it up though and the $200 can be used for anything, again so I've heard, even your room charges! And thanks

I guess they need to let Guest Services know that. We were told by Guest Services that they are only good on their birthday and if we didn't use it, we would lose it. So we picked the cards up at AK and Baby Girl got the Tree of Life Playset that you can only get at AK or AKL, then we had to go to DHS because Hamboy wanted something at Star Tours that you can only get at that gift shop. Then we went to DTD to spend the rest. Otherwise, we would have just picked the Star Tours stuff up the next day when we were planning on being at DHS.

If anyone is wondering - we did the QS meal plan and it was well worth the money spent; however, I would not use it for a trip more than 4 days. We like doing TS, but were trying to do a cheap stay. We stayed 4 nights and we were able to do breakfast/lunch/dinner with all of our CS and Snack credits. We ate at Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express, CS in Epcot - World Showcase. We really tried to vary it so we were not tired of eating the same stuff. Our bill at WPE would have been $72 and we paid about $82 for the plan per day.

It also came with a mug for each of us. We got the same mugs as last year. The cashier told me they had a ton of the mugs leftover and would not go to the new ones until the old ones were gone.

It's not so much the "wasting of money" that bothers me. It's trying to figure out places we can go that are jimmy friendly!
Sorry I ditched you, Janet. I went to rest, but the phone kept ringing.

Part of the reason I wanted to go to Epcot on my Bday is because it's so easy for me to spend $75 there! Good books in all the countries, etc. ;)
I'll ask when I get there.

So something really really wonderful has happened.

Bob just offered to fly me to WDW for three days if I want to meet Dawn, Jen, JV Jen, Z and Angela.....

Who has a pin code they aren't using?
(Truthfully, I can't afford even the value prices for those days with airfare so it would help!!!!)

MEL
*who might be persuaded to offer a kid, baking or house cleaning for said pin*
I'm so excited! I can't believe it! I thought I'd never meet a Focker and now I am meeting several!!!
Happy birthday to ME!!!!!:yay: :yay: :yay:

How about this...
I'll cut all my meals in half and you can wait outside the restaurant and I'll run them out to you in a doggy bag...
Will that help?
:lmao:

Mel! that is so great!! I hope you can make it work! Steve would never do that for me!

Thanks for the get well wishes for the kids. they are just fine. we just finished Subways. I made Annie get a small ham and cheese, "just in case" ;) Ben has Basketball practice tonite.

Kate, thanks for reminding me about seeds! :thumbsup2 I think I'm going to start some grass in the house. it looks pretty in the dead of winter, then I like to put easter eggs in it.

Mel-That's great news! hope you can swing it and get to go!

My DW was one of the first to get the birthday gift card (her birthday is January 1st). It was for $75 which is the price of a one day ticket and had to be spent that day in the park she obtained it.

The $200 card is for something else and not a part of the Celebration.

We thought about this one too, but Jimmy wants to do at least 2 character meals, one with Chip & Dale (Garden Grill) and one with Mickey and the gang (This one is a toss up between Chef Mickey's and Tusker House). PLus Jim wants to do 50's Prime Time. FOr what the cost would hae been OOP for these three is was worth it money wise to do the DDP
