Elizabeth called me from the hospital when I was at Wal mart this afternoon. I guess there is a community phone in the hall or something. It kept ringing when I tried to call back. I`m going to call her again now before work...

Well, huh. D took the boys out to the park earlier, and I stayed behind to clean. The family room is back to normal - I got rid of a few more things on the sly that I don't think they'll notice as missing, so now the new toys all have a place, finally. I cleaned the kitchen counters off and got my piles put away in the right spot (but yes, I knew what was in them all!
)
They came back and had thought maybe we'd all 4 go play tennis and swim, but there are no courts open until 7:00. Buzz was pretty adamant that he just wanted to stay home and read the Star Wars book he'd gotten at the school library yesterday. Woody was a little restless, and finally he started trying to talk Buzz into the swim. Once Buzz finally agreed, Woody started claiming HE didn't want to go. GAH.
Anyway, D washed his hands of it, which made Woody freak out and want to go again, so they just walked out the door. Now it's too late for me to go, as when I went to lunch yesterday, I was reminded of a girls night in tonight at one of the mom's houses. When she first brought it up, I thought this was the last week of January, where I knew that D was gone for training, but that's NEXT weekend... Then I forgot about it until yesterday. D is sweet and always encourages me to get out for myself, even though in this case I'm not terribly excited. I'm sure it will be fun, but it seems like a late time to go out, I'm driving a friend, so I can't have much wine, I don't really want to sit around and watch a movie, which was the suggestion... We'll see.
The gym is really close to the friend's house, but since I said I'd pick up one of the other friends, I'd have to come back PAST my own house, then go back past the gym, so it just doesn't make any sense.
And we're not having dinner, so D was going to eat at the gym, which I would have liked to do.
Oh well.
At any rate, I haven't done much of anything since they got back, and I do need to run out and get some brownies or something to take with me, but I have no desire. I still need to shower, too, even though the hostess says she's going to be in her pj's.
I can't believe it is 5:00.
But my Illini are winning, so I'm good.
I'd better go out if I'm going. I have two hours to shop, shower, and possibly bake brownies if I get a mix.
