I spent 3 days telling him to stop trying to whip everything in sight!

I'm sorry V, but this has me B has fashioned himself a whip out of a piece of PVC piping he took from the garage and a large square of fabric he's rolled up. He took a rubber band and wrapped it around the fabric...viola, whip.

Reid does things like that already. Apparently boy is very ingrained.

She was a sales agent for a computer company and had received from a client a bottle of Jack Daniels as a "thank you." She didn't want it, but left it in her car to remember to take to her mom's house, where her mom and mom's boyfriend might want it. But I guess she'd kind of forgotten it was there (it was unopened, of course), and one day, she pulled up to the kindergarten drop off line, and while the girls were getting out, the bottle rolled out of the car onto the sidewalk, where the teacher on duty picked it up. This is embarrassing enough, but she didn't even realize this had happened (because of it being in the back seat) until one of the girls called out really loudly, "Mommy! You dropped your juice!" so that it not only was brought to everyone's attention, but made it sound like her mom drank it down all the time like, well, juice.

Yup, I think I'm okay with the garbage men talking about my jammie clad run to the curb. Thank you.

She was absolutely mortified, and of course was relatively sure that everyone in the school probably heard about it within 15 minutes.

We decided to take A and C to our dinner date. C hasn't had a fever since yesterday and is bouncing off the walls! It was a nice dinner. The restaurant has a nice little area with a wine bar and shops winding through a garden area. We really love it there.
So, Kirt's tell ing the kids a story from when he was young and putting them to bed. What a good man.

I was toying with taking Sam to WDW for his 16th birthday in June. just me and him. I think its going to be too much. POP came out to 1600 for 5 days, with water park and dining. I Could drop the water park option. but its June and its just the 2 of us..we have to much to do around the house any way..a customer told me last night that he could get me a set of companion tix on SW.
I'm thinking of going to bartending school. I think its something that I would enjoy and be good at. I'll be back later...its hard to type on the the keyboard on my mini laptop

Hi, all!

We watched a movie with the boys and then D & I did Hancock from Netflix. I liked it well enough - I'd heard very mixed reviews, so I guess I didn't expect much.

D made it through - I would have bet lots of money that he would be asleep by now - but I have a feeling he's going to want to head to bed soon, and he's been oddly, um, clingy, I guess, about us going to bed at the same time, because he sleeps better. I find this odd, frankly, since we are apart so often. But, whatever.

Carrie, sounds like a fine idea. I bartended at Friday's for a while, and it's a good skill to have, and you can make really decent money. If my "store" had had benefits, I probably would have stuck around a bit longer, but I was starting to long for a day job, at the time. I've thought about going back from time to time, as the money IS pretty good, but with D's job, I'd lose most of it in babysitting, so...

Hi guys! I had a post earlier all ready with quotes, but I guess it took too long and by the time I hit "POST" it went *poof*!

Well, I say we start this year off right ... and declare that all Focker meets have photos!

So here's me and Jodi in the lobby of the Grand Californian.

Don't mind my "pregnant" look - I think I'm slouching... or fatter than I think I am.

Anyway, I had a nice meet with Jodi and Eric. No awkward moments, except we both had so much to say we kept talking at the same time. Would have loved to spend more time with them, but I had a very restless Maddie and they had to finish up their touring whilst the rain stopped and then head to San Diego.

It still amazes me when I meet up with internet friends, it's as if you're chatting with an old friend. Anyway, I do hope our paths cross again ... coughcoughgirlsweekendcoughcough.
