Janet-Sorry to hear about your coworker:grouphug:
See ya later ladies, Ill be back

THanks T You need to come around more often ::yes::

Glad I am keeping you amused today!:thumbsup2

Hi Peeps!

:wave2:

I made a bet with my DNeph and had to eat a chicken wing. O.M.G. SICK!!! I bit into it all all this fleshy stuff was hanging off the bone... Ewwwwwwwww!! I don't know how they can eat that stuff. :crazy2:

Oh please tell me that there is video proof of this!:rotfl:

Evening Fockers,

Lori - I'm so sorry, I know how hard it is

Janet - that was so young to go, can't imagine what the office was like today

Jo - London snow storm made the NY news, :rotfl2:

While I don't physically get into a fight, I don't back down from a verbal one...

Only 4 more work days for me!!!!!!! And the snow for tomorrow is not supposed to be as bad now:cool1:

I am pretty much packed, just need to check the weather on Sat to make sure I packed the right stuff.

Look away T...

I don't have too much of a plan, just sort of what parks on what day and a few ADR's. Just going with the flow and see how well my feet hold up.

Got a couple of Focker meets with Angela and T2 planned. I am actually bringing 2 books with me, I usually only bring 1 to read on the plane down and the plane home. Even if it's not warm enough for swimming, I may just pull up a lounge chair and do some reading poolside. Though the scary clown may be too distracting.:clown:

Just a lazy night planned here, already planted on the couch and except taking the pugs out one more time, I'm not moving.

Hello... Anybody Home... I am :goodvibes

Back from Williamsburg and Great Wolf Lodge. OMGosh... I had a blast till I got on the water ride from H :scared: :scared: :scared: ( you know the rest);) Jesus does not get on this one either.. but he will walk above it:angel:

BUT on the plus side... I climbed that 3 story BAD BOY Staircase ::yes:: and WAS NOT WINDED.. :thumbsup2 :cool1: Doing those miles on the treadmill had helped.
However... Till my foot heals... I am not walking fast. I have done something to it...
Not sure what but it has NEVER hurt this bad. I imagine the arch has broken down more... unless I have a stress fracture.

Gotta go unpack.. then have a funeral to go to tomorrow. I t was 60 degrees when we left Williamsburg.. It is 32 and sleeting here right now... Might have a school delay tomorrow :sad2: Better than Poor TE... looks like she might get 3-7 inches of White Stuff.. us... :sad2: That would be No. So close.. and yet so far.

:guilty:
Oh Well.... Guess everybody has people to see and stuff to do...

Good night gals... see ya leterpixiedust:

Good evening all!!

Jo - Thanks for the well wishes. Doug is still doing great. I just didn't know it was chemo week for him. That toad thing is a low-carbers nightmare. I would have no will power if it were placed in front of me. :p

Janet - That is no way to start the day. What a shock. It leaves everybody stunned and feeling helpless.

G-Luv - Give Jon a big hug from me please!

Kat - Thanks for the book suggestions. :thumbsup2

Katt - I'm glad you had a good time. Are you saying you had a little attire malfunction on the slide?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Not much going on here. I'm back to work.
Paid close to $300 in vehicle registrations on line today. You save $5 a registration in Indiana if you do it that way.
It was close to 50 degrees this weekend. Some of the snow actually melted. Now it looks like more is coming. They are only predicting a couple of inches. I hope that is all.

:grouphug: to all.

BTW I was looking thru my older subbed threads and a lot of the reports have been closed down, even the not finished ones! SO you may wanna check into it if you have an older report!

You too CE! I loved when the boys would request bubble baths.....

It ate up a good deal of what might have been a dreadful afternoon - they were just SO darn tired.

hope everyone's okay. cliff notes would be great!!

Hi, Rachel! Glad you're well, sorry about getting stood up by the utilities.

Back from Williamsburg and Great Wolf Lodge. OMGosh... I had a blast till I got on the water ride from...

D rolled in around 8:30, but he'd not returned the rental car and cabbed back to the car place to pick up the Saturn yet. He just walked back in, so good night!

Hi ladies just a quick drive by to say Hello. Need to check on a few things for trip and get some sleep. I have my observation for my student teaching next Monday. I thought is was at the end of the class but it is at the middle. School is going good. I have not forgot about the bed pictures I just haven't takent he time to down load them yet.

Where's Jo when I need her?

Jo - I think you are the only one awake. Baby Girl will not go to sleep tonight. I've been up all night. She better sleep after the bus picks up Hamboy because I plan on sleeping then.

I'm too tired to catch up.

Katt - Great Wolf Lodge looks like fun!
Rachel - did you say you are all moved in? I'm a little fuzzy right now.

Note to self - never make Slate or Mel mad. Always stay on their good sides.

Mary beat me, but since she stayed up till 4 am with BabyGirl to do it, I don't think it counts! LOL...

I wouldn't hit any of my Focker Friends, Mary! I'm reformed...:thumbsup2

Slept ok last night, but woke up at 5:30 am. That's 30 minutes before the alarm, and man that really cheeses me off. Oh well. Bob's leaving today for Boston. He's home until he goes at 1 pm though, so that's nice. :goodvibes

No real news here yet. It's snowing, but not much. It's supposed to go up to the 40's by Saturday and stay there for a few days! It's not FL weather, but it will do.

Rachel, glad you're moved in. We missed you! I'd give you an update but I wasn't here for a week. I can tell you what I do know though...

CE did a school bulletin board, welcomed D home and played Tennis.
Jo had the snow storm of the century in England and only one kid got the day off.
Mo leaves in a few days for WDW, she has plantar facisitis and the pugs are good.

Kristel went to a party, Max got his stitches out and she's reading the 3rd Twilight book.

Jodi got snow too, but she's been working out everyday, making me look bad.
Dawn went to a play, had sick kids and didn't know what a Groundhog was. :lmao:
Rosie has a day off.

I know I'm missing people. Sorry. That's all I could remember at this early hour.

I'll pop in later when you lazy people wake up.

MEL:banana:

As soon as the bus gets here, I'm making baby girl get in bed with me and we are going to sleep.

Katt - I'm glad you had a good time. Are you saying you had a little attire malfunction on the slide?

:rolleyes1 Well.. yeah THAT happened too:rolleyes1 I'll discuss that later

Welcome home Mel... I have not gone back to see what all you have done... Maybe I can skim and find out what the gals have been up to for the past 3 days.

Check in later today after the funeral. A good friend of mine lost her husband Friday. Found out he had Cancer in December,, now he's gone.

Morning Fockers :goodvibes

Katt, so sorry to hear of your friend's loss. You've been to too many funeral lately. But I'm glad you had a good weekend.

Mel, you are a recapping machine.

Not much going on here today. Although I did 5 loads of laundry on Sunday, looks like I've got a bunch more to do today :laundy: I'm not sure who is wearing all the clothes in the house :confused3

Other than that, I've got my book club tonight and that's it...I'll be in and out all day.

Have a great day everyone!

Not much planned. I worked last night and got home a little while ago.
I was looking at the pics from my Super Bowl party and I really need to lose weight, I've gained so much :sad1: .
Supposedly gonna do my taxes today, we'll see if I can stay awake.

TTFN!

I've used some strange stuff to dig out of the snow, but not a cookie sheet. How about a Rubbermaid tote?
:faint: OMG, every car we owned was equipped with a slepping bag rated for -40 degrees, a snow shovel, an ice scraper, lock de-icer, cat litter and a snow brush. I STILL carry the scraper and brush in my car! :rotfl:

just a drive by ................. checking in to say i'm okay, moved into our house last weekend.
Yay! Hope all is going well in your new home and that the plumber shows up!

Got a couple of Focker meets with Angela and T2 planned.
I want in, I want in! :guilty: I'm still trying to figure something out, but it's not looking good. :sad1:

Welcome back Katt

Morning Fockers

It's cold, cold, cold down here and expected to get even colder for the next 3 days. I hate Feb.

In my News of the Weird, my washing machine is randomly leaking. I reached down to pick up some lint in the laundry room Sun. and the floor was soaked. 3 towels later, it was all cleaned up and I moved things around to get a good look at the washer. Definitely not leaking from any hoses on the outside, but the bottom of the back panel felt wet, so I figured it must be leaking somewhere inside. Turned it on and off a few times trying to pinpoint it... and no more leaks! Gramma ran 3 loads of her laundry that day, and not another leak to be seen. I'm completely perplexed, but I'm not calling the repair guy until I see more action. :rotfl:

Janet - that was so young to go, can't imagine what the office was like today

EVeryone is still in shock:sad2:

Janet - That is no way to start the day. What a shock. It leaves everybody stunned and feeling helpless.

Thanks Kristel

Not much going on here today. Although I did 5 loads of laundry on Sunday, looks like I've got a bunch more to do today :laundy: I'm not sure who is wearing all the clothes in the house :confused3

That sounds like me. We have a ton of laundry for 3 people!:confused3

=====================================================

Back at work and everyone is still in shock:sad2: We are supposed to get snow starting around 11:00 or so and it's supposed to last through drive time home. If that happens, all afterschool activities will be cancelled which means Jim's parent conferences will be cancelled. I'm supposed to leave at 3:30 to pick up Jimmy from after school care, but if Jim's meetings are cancelled I sdon't have to. The question then becomes do I still leave early becasue of the weather or do I save the vacation time!@:confused3

Morning...
Katt-

We're going to do school quickly this morning so we can go meet my mom and nephew (remember him?) at the park and for lunch. She wanted to meet at 10, but it's a 45 minute drive. I keep reminding her that we do school, not just play all day. :snooty: So we're meeting later.

That annoys me- family members don't really agree with me homeschooling, but they don't seem to have any problem enjoying my flexible schedule. When we had game night the other night I was snappy about school with Kirt in front of his family. I know he isn't against me, but he said one of those off-hand comments that family members make a lot about school and I told him I didn't appreciate people trying to tell me what to do when where my kids are concerned.

I'm just stressed about Aiden going to school is what it is, I guess. He's a really smart boy, but a little resistant to learning how to read. I haven't really pushed him because I figure he'll do it soon enough and we won't have to fight about it. So, we've been working slowly on it and now I feel pressuerd because the school will test him for placement. When I talked to a firend who has a dd in Kinder there she told me what they were working on, and we're not there. I thought I had the summer before they test, but I was told they test in June. :crazy2:
I don't want him in kindergarten again in the fall. He'll be 7 in November and I refuse to let anyone put him there. they do test them in each subject and put them in different ones according to their level, so I guess if he's behind in reading (he won't be in the rest of the subjects), I'll just refrain from rputting him in that class, I guess. :confused3

Sorry I went on and on... I've been stressed about it. My nephew's in K in public school and I know A's way more advanced than him, so that annoys me too.
:sad2:

Anyway, have a good day. We'll be back later this afternoon.

:cheer2: Happy birthday, Mary!!! :cheer2:

I hope you get that sleep you wanted for your birthday! :goodvibes
