The girls have made a family of snowmen in the back garden and we did a bit more sledging, it was too busy though. Jessica's school has already cancelled for tomorrow and it hasn't stopped snowing all day. We've got about 4-5 inches which I know is tiny for some of you but it's managed to bring England to a stand still :rotfl:
Same here. We just don't go out at all if it's icy or snowy. It's so rare here, though, we don't have to deal with it.

OMG. Girl fight. And I was the only one in the classroom.

Just thought that I'd announce that I escaped without a black eye! :teeth:

Chicks, man. They're so evil.
:rotfl2:

WOOHOO!!!!! :cool1:

I've never been in a physical fight. :confused3
Me neither... :confused3

:faint: That surprises me, Janet! :p

That I'm a chicken, really. ;) Nothing bad about you implied.

:rotfl2:

I was young and stupid, darlin'.

If Jon ever copped the type of attitude I did when I was younger, he'd be in the house for life. ;)

Lori - I am so sorry for your loss. Def post pics if you'd like. It's so hard to loose a family pet. :grouphug:

Kat - I finished the Twilight series. Now I'll have to hunt for something else.
Saw the movie "Taken" on Saturday. Pretty good. The theaters were packed.

May I suggest Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison. It's the first in a 6 book (7th coms out end of this month) series and I fell in LOVE with them! Also Charlaine Harris' "Dead" books are AWESOME too.

Taken was a great movie! We downloaded it a while back. Great action!

Good Morning Fockers. Not a good day here. DOn't know how much I will be checking in. I got into work at 8:55am and was informed that one of our supervisors dropped dead of a heart attack at 52 years old...in work:sad2: Place is in kind of a chaos right now. Will try and check back later.

:grouphug: Hope your day gets better!!

 all around.

Hope everyone is okay. I skimmed but I feel like ****, so I have retained nothing.

Over night, Jon developed a healthy fear of the bully...again. Begging me not to send him to school. Breaks my heart. :guilty:

Poor kiddo. Feel better lady!:flower3:

At least you don't have a new shiner. :upsidedow

Glad you made it out unscathed this time, Jen. What is up with the girls at your school? :confused3

I;m at the point that if it is going to snow, snow enough to shut EVERYTHING down for a couple of days. Ya know, like the 30 inches we had back in 1996!
We were in DC for that snow. Talk about shutting things down for days! I watched someone try to shovel out their car with a cookie sheet :rotfl2: Honestly, no shovel to be seen, but a cookie sheet.

:rotfl: Though, I admit, I don't carry a scraper all the time, since I park in my garage 90% of the time. When we got back from Chicago a few weeks ago, we had to scrape the windshields with a credit card. :sad2: :rotfl2:

GoodAfernoon Fockers !! I am homefrom work early for change and OFF tomorrow !!I have some time off this month too and I am sooo ready for a break !! This old lady is TIRED!! My friend called today she can't ffod to go in May so it's just me!!I really don't mind as I love my solo trip last year!!

Will that be enough to get Ellie off of school tomorrow;)
Probably not :sad2:

For all of those wondering Toad in the Hole is sausages in a yorkshire pudding (kind of like pancake batter) Mash is mashed potatoes and onion gravy is errr gravy with onions in :rotfl2: I found this on photobucket, I'm sure I've posted before :confused3

Really, that's a normal snow for us, too, and we might delay or cancel for that, depending on what time it is. For us, it's not so much the actual snow as the ability to clear it for the buses in time (where I'm sure your village doesn't have the budget, equipment, etc. so it's harder), so if we got 4-5 inches starting around 6:00 in the morning, we'd be canceled too, as they wouldn't have the roads clear.
Wow that makes me feel better that England isn't useless :rotfl2:

For some reason I'd been tired all weekend, and of course last night I stayed up after midnight for no real reason, on the night that I'd have to get up in the morning.
I'm glad you're feeling better  Hope D makes it home safely!

OK, I would like to know what toad in the hole is too. I think it's a biscuit type thing with sausages but I'm not sure. Mash and gravy is potatoes w/ gravy, right? Sounds yummy.
See above Mel, I'm not sure what you call a biscuit as here they're cookies :rotfl2:

The next "big" trip to WDW will be *hopefully* a week at Beach Club from Dec 18-24th.
12th to 22nd at GF :yay:

OMG. Girl fight. And I was the only one in the classroom.

Just thought that I'd announce that I escaped without a black eye! :teeth:
:thumbsup2

I've never been in a physical fight. :confused3
Me either, I'm too wimpy and too scared :rotfl2:

Our Super Bowl party was fun, some people left at halftime (the ones who brought their girlfriends who could care less about football  ). We had waay too much food and alcohol left over. But I had fun :bitelip: even though the Cardinals lost.
Sounds like fun :thumbsup2

Do the boys fight that often, too, or is it mostly the girls?

Both. If we make it through the day without a fight, drugs, or drama, well...then it must be a weekend. We must not be at school.

Seriously, our population consists of a large juvenile delinquent population, substance abusers, teen mothers, and students who have difficulty with attendance in general.

They're great kids. They just need guidance.

OK, I'm off to supervise homework (domino addition!) and there have been requests for bubble baths (which means no rushing for showers after dinner :thumbsup2 ) so I'll be back later. Those of you at work, have a great end of the day, everyone at home, enjoy! :grouphug:

Janet,

Did you see that snarky comment my "friend" made on FB on Saturday? I didn't like her in college and I don't like her now. I was reluctant to accept her request and shocked by it actually. I though I made my feelings clear with all the duct tape over her door on a regular basis. ;)

Anywho, I punched a black boy for touching my butt in 6th grade and got into a girl fight at a Jimmy Buffet concert. Some girl was way drunk and swinging a not so empty cup as she was dancing. We asked he several times to stop and then she yells, I told you biotches that it was empty and turned it upside down and a bunch still was flowing out and she shook the rest at us. I had had 1, 2, or 10 drinks myself and couldn't let it go, so I found an unopened beer, shook it up real good, then turned around pointed it at her and opened it. Needless to say, a girl fight ensued and we both took one to the eye. :crazy2:

Whatcha sayin'?

That she's scared of us :snooty:;)

That I'm a chicken, really. ;) Nothing bad about you implied.

ETA: That's why I put the whistling smiley. I'm not really that nice.

:lmao:

:faint: That surprises me, Janet! :p

You don't know me very well Scooby;)

Thanks Kat

Cya later :wave2:

Aw, man, my bathtub is gone off Pet Society! What the heck?!

Not only that, but I completed one of their ads to get points and when my bag of $ came it had $0 in it. Of course, they're not going to fix it.

I missed it:confused3 Can I go back and look now?

i don't know. It was Saturday when I was thinking about putting the children to bed. She said something like no thinking, just do, no dealing......

I could just see and hear her and I was reaching for the duct tape. She annoyed everyone with just the way she said things.
