update anyone??? i can't possibly go back and catch up!!! haven't had much time to get online.... busy unpacking and organizing in between work days! can't wait to get into a routine. my diet has been crap lately. i'm taking a couple weeks off. i don't even want to know at this point. hopefully after next week, i'll be able to start exercising and eating right. our kitchen isn't fully unpacked yet, so we've been eating out a lot. i will get back on track eventually!

Finally the city is an uproar because there is an escaped suspect loose somewhere between here and Annapolis. Get this...A private company (Like a bounty hunter...corrections) found this suspect (for Atttempted Murder) in Ft. Lauderdale. They were transporting him and 2 other prisoners back (in a van). They stopped in Annapolis and this was the last time anyone remembers seeing this guy. Mind you, nobody noticed it until they got here in Philly. Gotta love it

One of the things they are talking about is shutting down one day a week, which means I would go from a 10 day paycheck to an 8 day paycheck

They're talking about some sort of furloughing here, too.

i did see on facebook where there's speak of a girls weekend at wdw!!! if i can get off work, i;m totally in!!! would we just share rooms?? it wouldn't be that expensive with 4-5 people splitting the cost.

Linds had a 2 hour delay this morning but was still up at normal time. UGH! Then I forgot to put a diaper on DR when he went to bed last night and he woke up soaked. So not only did he have to get another bath (he had one last night) but I had to change sheets. And here I was hoping to get him potty trained. Maybe by summer I'll have him ready.

I was wanting to go to Target and Walmart this afternoon but it is way too cold out to go anywhere! Once I get home it takes like 20 minutes just to thaw out. I do have to run to the grocery store but will do tht once I pick Linds up from school. The less I go out in the cold the better!

Got a question for ya guys...If your hubby came on here and posted anonymously and professed his love to you how would you feel? There is a hubby that is doing this on a Gymbo message board I'm on and he's getting a lot of mixed reviews. Some are saying he's doing this because he's done something wrong and wants to win points with the wife and others find it romantic. I personally find it romantic, but I am a romantic at heart.

Morning! Good times around here... since yesterday morning the temp dropped to the low 30s, we heard that our budjet will likely be slashed 20-30%, unemployment is the highest in years, and the strawberry crop is once again in danger.

They are talking budget cuts here too V. We had to give the mayor 3 different budgets 10, 20 and 30%. If there are layoffs, I have enough seniority that it won't be an issue. Good morning all. ROugh start to the morning here. Took Jimmy to the after school place becasue he was off today, where he promptly started with the I want to go home . 20 minutes later I finally had him calmed down enough to be able to leave.

The escapee is just too much. Talk about someone not paying attention. In SC the convicts clean up the side of the highways and I always wonder how they can have 2 guards keeping track of 12 inmates. Although the big guns they carry might act as a deterrent.

DH brought ds to spanish this AM, so that saved me a special early trip. I am just about to jump into the shower and then get Tink to Pre School. After that I volunteer in ds's class, then back to get Tink and bring her to a playdate, then back to school to teach that art class. Yikes! I forgot to review my notes! I will have to do that at some point before the class. Tonight ds has a Imagination Fair, which last year he won (as a Kindergartner~ 3r place in the entire school for writing and English Lit. This year he choose to stay in that category and wrote a small book about Barrack Obama, the election and how he feels about it. We will see what the kids come up with in that category. I think for a 1st grader he did a fabulous job. That is all that counts!

Good morning. My head hurts and I'm tired. Aiden woke me up at 2 with side pain. I think I fell asleep finally with him about 3:30. I had only gone to bed at 12:30, so that wasn't good sleep for me. I don't do well without good, solid sleep.

Really??? Here they don't have to legally start until they are 8. In Pennsylvania, Kindergarten in NOT a requirement.

There is a hubby that is doing this on a Gymbo message board I'm on and he's getting a lot of mixed reviews. Some are saying he's doing this because he's done something wrong and wants to win points with the wife and others find it romantic. I personally find it romantic, but I am a romantic at heart.

Busy, crazy day here! Running Tink from dance to playdate, dropped dinner to our friend who lost his wife, School District meeting after school and need to prep to teach my first Art Adventure class tomorrow to my DS's 1st grade class. YIKES! All the while I am researching grants for Literacy and playgrounds... getting ready to kick off our school fundraiser next Friday and seller packets for our Tinks Preschool Kids sale go on sale next week (which I am also chairing). No wonder why I can't catch up with you all!!!!! I can't catch up with MYSELF!

I had my fun tennis class this morning, and then I had the annual poke-n-prod (sorry, men...), which is why I showered at the gym.

It was fine, though - and I love my dr., so that's good.

I've come home, had lunch, and done some laundry, read some e-mails and so forth.

I don't have much else going on today. D's at the office, I guess. He said he was going, and he's not here, but his car is, so I'm confused. I know he said he'd probably ride in with John, but John lives on the way for D to pick him up, not the other way around. Oh, well. The only bad thing was that I was going to have him pick up some stuff on the way home, and if he's being dropped off, that's not happening.
