Ellie is off again, she can hardly talk, was coughing lots during the night and basically looks like death warmed up

Oh no, hope she is better soon.

I had to leave her for a little while though, my first time as I had a hearing test. Well I get there and the nurse had booked me into the surgery where they don't have the equipment so no test for me today!

Did they reschedule you?

I then went to the supermarket to get a few bits and about $100 I come out There wasn't even any food for meals in that

I hate when that happens!

I got my dishwasher running. Now off to dust and hoover the livingroom. BBL!

I asked my sis about cooking at her house and she said, "Why cook when you can go out and let someone else do all the work and have no mess?"

Makes sense to me. Heck, the kids don't like half of what we make, and then there are only a few grownups. Luckily, splitting the items, it's not a whole lot of work for any particular person.

We are planning on doing the 4am shopping. I need a new laptop.

Good luck! I still don't know what to get the kids, so I'm staying home.

Uneventful is always good

The most exciting thing was that there was a Brownie meeting happening in the same room, and so I got to sing some Brownie songs.

Good Z - Living with parents as an adult is rough.

Yes, yes it is. The govt should help young adults get a start to move out a certain age. Hey they help everyone else, why not us. Wishful thinking of course....

I'll be in WDW this time 2 weeks from now.

We went to see 'New Moon' yesterday.

I thought it was good. They followed the book pretty close. I mean you can't fit everything in but I think they did a good job of getting in the stuff that you needed to know. I still think Kristen is a bit stiff as Bella. I didn't feel it for her in the movie like I did in the book. I actually cried when I read the beginning of the book. Not even a glimmer for the movie.

We sat behind 3 moms with their teen daughters. When 'Jacob' appeared on screen the first time with his shirt off, I thought they were all gonna faint! They all moaned at the same time. It was too funny.

I think the movies are better than the books. Even with Kristen Stewart's stiff acting She actually improved in this one. I had the same experience as you with some of the tweens at the showing I went to, but it was more for Edward than Jacob.

Z, I don't understand parents when you are grown.

I wish, unfortunately half of my friends live with parents also and can't afford to move out and the other half live with someone already.

I am having a major debate with myself over the purse, I REALLY want. It is only sold at WDW so I would have to order it through the merchandise line. International shipping would be $100! So if I do buy it that means I would have to ship it to the family in Ohio (only $20). That would mean I wouldn't actually get my hands on it until the spring/summer. It is SO cute though and I really really want it.

Holy moly Batman! $100 shipping?!?!? That's insane! Then again I don't think I'd pay that much for a purse, but it's a Dooney Burke and that's not a bad price since they're usually over about $400.
I like the little one. Tinkerbell's more prominent and I know you like her.

Then after we got home a guy I had been talking to online IM'd me and we chatted for a while. I 'met' him on match.com a few months ago but maybe talked to him once or twice and then just said forget it because really I wasn't interested in dating or even being involved with someone. But, just this past week we started talking more and he ended up calling and we talked tonight on the phone. It was really nice and I totally enjoyed it.

Unfortunately, I know how you feel. My mom butts into everyone's business. I tell her to leave me alone. She really drives my sister crazy because she will talk to my nephews behind her back, trying to guilt trip them over whatever she doesn't approve of - which is a lot. I am so glad I don't live close to them.

My mother is the Queen of guilt trips. I wish I didn't live close sometimes too.

Anyway, I'm working all week so it's been busy. Unfortunately the ER doesn't close for the holidays. I'm thinking of applying for a supervisor position in another department, but not sure. It would sure be nice, but supervisor's in our hospital have to put up with so much required crap it's ridiculous.

Tried talking to the parental unit and that didn't go well. She's mad at me for me being mad at her. Told me my excuse to why I was reacting the way I did (that I'm an adult and should be treated like one) was cheap and that she was my mother and will always be that way no matter my age because she doesn't want me to make stupid decisions. I told her driving and going out is a stupid decision? Her answer to that was to leave because she was busy and had things to do....niiiiice.

Thanksgiving will be sooooo fun this year. I feel like I'm in an episode of Brother's and Sisters minus all the Brother's and Sisters.

Anyhoo, don't know if I'll make it in later so just in case....

I'm still sick--worse actually---tried to sleep in the recliner but I still coughed all nite long. To the doctors today---unfortunately the only time my doctor had was the same time as BAs surgeon appt so Daran will take her.

I got permission from 3 of the companies I am buying from to use their photos. I am going to take some photos of my own, I just haven't had time.

Oh, that would have driven me crazy. Jimmy likes baseball better than soccer. He is already asking when it starts. Dude, it's the middle of winter He will play coached pitch this year, which I think he will lke much better than T-Ball.

Lindsey really liked T-ball last year and has been asking when she can play again. LOL DR's wanting to do it too and I think he'll be old enough for me to sign him up. I know he'll be happy with that.

I was up at 7, went back to sleep but all I could do was toss and turn, so I finally got up at a little after 9. I hate all the morning shows that are on so I sat there and watched The Weather Channel.

No big plans for me. I do need to clean a bit, do the dishes and some laundry. Other than that I've got nothing to so.

No we call the building where the Dr's are a surgery, my Dr's have 3 surgeries and the hearing test stuff was in a different one. If we go for an operation then it's at the hospital in the operating theatre Hope you feel better soon

I have to wait in all morning for a delivery, Dad is buying us an outdoor table tennis table as our family pressie, shhh though as the girls don't know. I used to play for the county/state when I was younger and David played too. We get very competitive I've just ordered D a bat as part of his Christmas pressie from me because I'm really struggling

We had a lot of fun at tennis and now D's off to go do some work at the quiet library or whatever. We think we're going to try to hit Indian food for dinner after the boys have their tennis lesson.

I need to premake my potatoes and cranberry sauce, but I'd wait until they were in bed, anyway.

My friend Adrian just popped round to show me his PP photos, they got some really good ones but also some where none of them were smiling, they actually looked quite grumpy He also asked us if we wanted to borrow his camcorder so that saves us buying one and he's going to fit a cat flap in the conservatory for Boo after Christmas

Well, I got the start time of the Wed. tennis wrong (because of course we usually do Tues.) and so we were sitting at the gym for an extra half hour. The boys were fine, but after an hour and a half, I was bored, bored, bored, and my FB app quit.

But then we went out for totally yummy Indian food, and just got home. And I want to have another glass of wine and a nap. I'm so full!

Picked up Jimmy and took him his to his OT appointment. He loved it!. On the way home Jim picked up pizza for dinner and now we are watching one last Scooby Doo before bath and bed. After Jimmy is in Bed Jim and I need to put the trash out, put the leaves in the tables, and put away some general clutter. Then I am going to bed We are leaving for the parade about 7:00am and should be home by 11:00am, then the cooking and feasting begin. Football I could care less about and so could Jimmy so he will probably go to the basement and watch the Pokeman videos he got at the library. I haven't managed to cook anything yet. Looks like we're not going until 2:00 tomorrow, so I would have time in the morning. I don't know. I just feel like sitting on the couch. I may do the cranberries here soon - they need to chill, so it's better to do them now. Maybe even the potatoes, I just can't get excited.

I may have designed our holiday cards - we usually do a Christmas photo in front of the tree (which I have no idea when we'll get), but I found a multi-photo design where I incorporated several summer pictures, and though it's not seasonal, I think it looks good.

well, I started the Avelox and the cough syrup...and the breathing treatments...and I still feel like crap. On the good side tho, BA had a great surgery follow-up appt(at the doctor's office!)---that must really confuse Jo! She is healing well, and will get to take a bath soon---she hates showers--has her own whirlpool bath in her room and does that every day!
