Wow... I never had a hard time planning a get-away for just DH and I before we had kids, but jeeze the Mommy-guilt is HORRIBLE!
But, I'm over it.![]()
See, I have no problem going to Paris, or Cabo, or whatever without the kids, but I do bet that guilt might come about WDW.

This means I may actually have a day OFF!!!
Hope so!
Nothing much going on here, been to Church and the roast is in the oven as the girls are going swimming at 6pm with their youth group so I didn't think I'd better feed them before they went as they might sink
Jo...

Speaking of anniversaries...my parents 52nd wedding anniversary is tomorrow
Tell them congrats from me!
I'm telling all of you that woman will not spend one night at Pop

Unfortunately, one of our good friends had a stroke the other day.
I'm so sorry.

Well the plans went out the window this morning. I'm too lazy to go to DLR. Today is Andy's only day off, so we agreed to just lounge around and enjoy the fall weather.
Sounds like fun!
Ok, don't laugh.
Sure...

Here are some pictures of Jimmy from soccer today![]()
Nice! I need to get my Halloween stuff out. I think I have two full tubs of carp. My mom, in her first grade teacher mode, sends us new stuff every year...

Mmmm... smells good in here. I'm making beef stew on this blustery, cold day. Heh heh heh. Can't wait to eat!
That sounds great!
I had a good day messing with my horsies---they loved being groomed and pampered---they will close their eyes and fall asleep while being brushed!
Glad you had a good day!
WE just got back from a trip to the ER. Holly had a go cart accident today. She turned to see of someone was going to pass her and ran right into a wall. She has a concussion, a big knot on her head, bit her tongue and slight injury to her left shoulder, right leg, and left foot.
She was with my mom and we beat the ambulance to the ER. We were in and out in less than three hours. However, when we were leaving, the waiting room was full of kids in masks.
I'm gonna have a long night or waking her every hour or so.
Oh, no! How is she doing today?

I can drive. I can drive.
Hooray!!!!
So, today I'm thinking of and praying for Mel. It's her surgery day and she said I should hear from her by early afternoon.
Thanks, I couldn't remember if it was today or tomorrow. Let us know.

Well...
Saturday we were lazy through the morning, then went swimming at the club, then did movie night. It was a good way to relax on a totally cold and rainy day.
Yesterday, we went on the boat, even though it was not quite 60. I have tons of good scenery pictures, but the lake still hasn't "exploded" in color yet. It was nice, though - we just cruised easy and walked around one of the cute little towns around the lake.
The kids are off to school. I have team tennis later, but am also supposed to have some fun practice stuff beforehand with some of the team. D says he's going to work, so I don't feel bad.
I called this morning and got the dog his annual vet appointment for Wed., and MIL comes in Thursday, so my week is getting busy again. At some point, I'll need to do more Book Fair stuff, too, and clean house.

I've already started some laundry this morning, but I need to eat breakfast and start thinking about moving. Hope you all have a great day!
