Hey all! Had a great day at the Scout picnic and have finished up the last minute packing. Going to watch a litel tv with my boy and then off to bed. Leaving around 5am tomorrow morning. Hope to be in Williamsburg by 11:00 - 11:30. Hotel has WiFi so I will try to check in at least once. If not, have a great week and see you all on Thursday

Judy took Kyle to Beaver Island today and they played Frisbee Golf Kyle had fun Judy says she walked 90 miles uphill both ways Then she picked up the girls and they went back to swim in the lake .
I then took them shopping supposedly to return jeans to Aero that didn't fit !!Well that was accomplished and they had to look for school sneakers I must have been in a good mood as I bought them They had a deal so both pair with tax were $138> Then we HAD to check out the Nike Store for the bags !! They were only $10 each so Not bad !1 Then we hit Bath & Body works for some ESSENTIAL sprays that had to had for school!! They are lucky it's their bithday next week so their presents are bought !!!

Good morning everyone!

I wish that my body knew how to sleep late.
Nothing exciting here. It's so hot and humid outside, it's really pretty miserable. I went to the farmers market yesterday and bought a 1/2 bushell of green beans. (That's ALOT of green beans!) and then came home and blanched and froze them. Now we'll have garden fresh green beans when it's chilly winter outside! YAY!
I finally posted my pts on the rent trade board last night. They haven't been approved for posting yet, but hopefully today. It's such a drag to have DVC, but find that you can book a room at a value and get a package that ends up being the same price as the points you used! For a room, food and tickets! Instead of just a room. Ugh.
Today I am doing laundry, making salsa, making enchiladas and watching the race.

My life is seriously boring.

How is everyone? Janet's off for her vacation, I see.

We have church and solo practice today. This is our last week of summer, and it's packed full of C's dance camp, appointments, and last chance time with friends. I think school starting may be a break for me.

Hi, ladies!

It's been a boat weekend - we took Tara & her girls to the boat Friday after I played tennis with her, then D asked one of his work friends, wife, and kid up yesterday. We had thought we might meet more work friends with their own boat up there today, but they bowed out - we're still going. But it will make D happy, and we have nothing else to do, anyway.

D flies tomorrow to Tuesday, and we have a playdate or two lined up, but that's about it. I thought I was going to be happy with wide open weeks leading up to the start of school, but it does mean that I have to be more creative to avoid "too much togetherness" syndrome.

At one point they had said it was going to rain nearly all week, but now it's just tomorrow, which is better, I guess.

Anyway, we're trying to get moving again, so I guess I'll go. Jo's back today, right?

And of course, a very to MO!

It's a beautiful morning here in Michigan. The heat has finally broken. It's 60 degrees outside and sunny! Lovely!
SD is off to his first official day of Tennis. (And is THRILLED!) Gus is sound asleep. I am making another batch of dill pickles today. Mmmmm.

V: Have you looked at Lands End for pants for Leo? They adjust and they are very economical. Also have had very good luck at Kohl's for the adjustable waist. It's hard when they're tall but skinny! I'd send you all Gus' outgrown but poor Gus has the opposite problem. LOL
Did you guys get well enough to make it to WDW?

Jo's home. Where the hay is she??? Come out, come out! I want to hear how your trip was!

CE: Lots of boat time this weekend. It was a good weekend for it. It's always 10 degrees cooler on the water.

Morning! Last week of summer vacation, last week of summer vacation! I'm so ready for Leo to be back in school, where he's not completely exhausted by 5pm. And I'm soooo ready to quit my part time evening job of making lunches for him. Bring on the school lunches baybee!

We never made it to WDW. Leo was on the couch all day Sat. We tried Busch Gardens yesterday morning... and only lasted and hour and a half. It was HOT. And neither of us had much energy. We wound up asleep on the couch all afternoon.

Nothing else going on. Happy Monday all!

V, so sorry you guys are still not feeling great. Yuck. Hope you're better soon! And, I totally agree on the lunches - Woody eats school lunch every day, and Buzz over half the time. Trying to come up with stuff for lunch all summer has been a killer.

Not much going on here today. D has an overnight trip, but is still here - it's leaving this afternoon. I turned down a tennis class this morning - I just didn't feel like rushing out the door. I'm hoping it's going to be an easy, relaxing day.

We FINALLY have some summer weather! I think we're going to 85 today! Yippeeeeee!!!

Not much going on here - I've just been busy school shopping with Drama-Mama. I have been working on our San Diego staycation for Labor Day weekend. I'm super excited! I can't WAIT to eat at Cafe Coyote! It's THE most bomb diggity Mexican food I've ever had - I dream of that stuff!

Maddie's going to cheer camp this week, which I find kinda funny. It's soooo not her, but she wants to go.

I hear ya! Andy & I were talking about next October and I mentioned a value. I think he learned the neck-craning move from Tony this past trip - 'cause he's got it perfected. He's soooo not down for it. I've got him agreeing to CBR though.

I had a nice time at my Dad's, the weather wasn't great but it was still good and he loved having us. Being with Em was fun but exhausting too as the boys are so demanding, I guess I've forgotten what little ones are like

I had a few wins whilst I was there too Some weber BBQ tools, 2 sets of Paul Mitchell hair stuff with wash bags, 2 craft show tickets (whooppee ) 2 boxes of nature valley bars, Pims coolbag (just email, yet to get it), Boo was voted one of the top 500 most beautiful cats in Europe and won a 6 month supply of Iams food, rimmel nail polish, voucher for a cheesecake and the best one a 1 nights spa trip inc massage, mud treatment, mind & body class, brekkie, lunch and dinner. I booked it today and I'm so excited

I'm back and no one's here. My sister has gone back to work, and my mother is back home, so here I am. Nothing else exciting to report.

Mitch and I have been talking regularly which is good. He's very busy working every day, but the time goes quickly. We Skyped last weekend so he got to see Ridley and Reid. I have also been sending lots of snail mail, as I read the college class of 2014 thinks email is too slow and they rarely use snail mail.

Hey all! Just a quick checkikn fro Virginia! We have been having a great time and the weather has been great Hot, but no rain so no need to pull out the ponchos.

We got here Sunday and went to Yorktown. Went to Jamestown yesterday and Colonial Williamsburg today! Jimmy is having a ball! Tomorrow we are heaifn to Busch Gardens, so that should be lots of fun. It's our last day so we are planning on going for Opening and just staying until we feel like leaving.

We want to be on the road fairly early on Thursday to stary heading home.

Hopeall is well with everyone and I will see you all on Thursday!

Really busy day seems like whenever I take time OFF I am so far behind it's almost not worth taking it off !! My Sweetie is going down hill fast !! She is really hard to work with now as she is in La La land all the time , has day long conversations with an imaginary friend and sings total nonesense for loooong periods of time !! She is loosing most of her living skills rapidly and while it is exhausting to take care of her safely it iis also heart wrenching to the staff who have known her for so long Today she had a brief period of her old self and was the same funny gal I loved , she had such asense of humor and I think that is what we all miss the most!!!

I toally hear you! My sister came to see me in Gloucester with her kids (16,13,2) and I was exhausted! Two year olds are constant motion. I'm not sure how I did it back then. I'd surely die now.

Went shopping with SD yesterday for clothes for the senior pictures. He still needs a pair of dress pants and a pair of jeans. Thank Goodness for Salvation Army. This is where living in a "hoity toity" suburb comes in handy. All the rich people drop off their gently worn Abercrombie, Hollister, American Eagle, Gap, JCrew and Aeropostle that they paid top $$$ for and I snatch them up at 3.99 a pair. Woot. It's the cleanest, nicest store. And it's IN my hoity toity suburb. Seriously, people. How can I NOT shop there?????

So, hopefully today will yeild some pants, a new guitar strap, and a polo shirt. I think we'll do fine.
