Team Focker Watch: Lucky Number 13!

Wow...your CL sounds pretty lenient. I meet with my enumerators every morning and if they're not putting in 30 hours a week and 30 cases, minimum, they're written up. 2nd write up is termination. :confused3
Do you know how long your operation is scheduled for? Our term date is June 19th.

He is meeting every night at 8pm, except for Thursdays. So far he said that the average is 1 per hour. My whole binder had only 24 to actually go to. My last date is June 26th. Turns out they didn't pay me a whole day of training too- have to re-submit it tomorrow. What a mess it all is.

Everyones different but I can't do the rowing machine with my back as it kills it. I'm glad you're going to the Dr, is this part of KC's new job?

Yea we finally got insurance again, still waiting on the dental/eye tho as he is only onto his 4th week there. The gym was a discounted membership (about $30 less than the plan is normally) per month. We figure if we pay for it we will actually go!

I don't know how you do it, but we got a free session of "how to use this" when we started. My MIL has horrible back issues - can't pick up more than 10 pounds, for example - but still works out. She does the treadmill at low or no incline, and the ellipticals are OK if you don't put the resistant up too high. I'm with T - the "sit down" kind of bikes are much better. ::yes::

There are some people randomly around to help but it was late the 2 nights we went. They have a package with a health assessment, and 2 sessions with a trainer for $29 and I am seriously considering it to get me to feel more comfortable being there.

Evening all. it has been another one of my hectic days. I watched the kids all day, went to the drs., finally got some food in the house and then took the grandkids to the neighborhood carnival. Then I got to come home and called the t-ball parents to fill them in on the game and pictures. At least I managed to get some expensive and not that great food at the carnival for dinner. :rotfl2:

My DH called to tell me he may be home really late as he was in a minor car accident at work. They had a van full of inmates who all claimed they were hurt "real bad" so he has to take them all to the hospital for evaluations. It was a really minor accident, just a side view mirror was damaged, and he is ok just stuck at work.

I am on another round of antibiotics because of my allergies. Now I have a sinus infection. I cannot WAIT for the summer to get here.

My grandson had a baseball game last night and did really well, 2 hits and 3 or 4 RBI's. :woohoo: His team is undefeated. :thumbsup2 Unfortunately he may be done for the season. He hurt his hand sliding into 3rd while stealing the base. His thumb is swollen and purple. His mom had to work all day so he is at the ER getting x-rays. I think he may have just sprained it based on the fact that he could move it last night but he couldn't grip the bat so I don't know.

Well off to work on my photopass pics so I can get that over with and then I may even get a chance to start my TR. Have a nice night all.

Jeez you did have a crazy day!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well I went out an knocked on doors! It was nerve wracking really. I hate when people bother me so bother them was hard. But in the end I only got one questionnaire done. Aunt flo is gonna keep me home for a few days but the next day I go out I should finish all the work my leader gave me.
Poor Kc is working his first 12 hour shift tomorrow so he's gonna be u at 530am. He's gonna be TIRED tomorrow night. He's in a good mood tho : he got new ram for his laptop, he was given a roomba by a friend (he plans to hack it and has a whole book on how to do so) and he is off until next wed after tomorrow. It should be a nice weekend at least.
Anyone watch Survivor????
Goodnight all!
my dad (her SIL) is very frank with me about her dementia/paranoia, but Mom (her daughter) never says a word. I know my mom is worried about "turning out like my mom" but I find it interesting that she never tells me this stuff, where Dad does.
My parents are like this but the opposit. It's my mom who is very frank, etc. My dad panics:confused3
At any rate, she's up to full "feeds" and so forth. ::yes::
Good news:goodvibes
Just a quick update on my grandson. He fractured his thumb.:sad2: He is in a hard splint and needs to see the orthopedist tomorrow at the childrens hospital to get a cast. Hopefully from what my son said he will only be out of baseball for a couple of weeks. He is such a trooper that he told his dad he still wants to go to every game to cheer on the team and be a part of it. At least he will be out of the cast when the summer starts.
Poor kiddo! Give him a hug from the Fockers:hug: That's good that he still wants to go to the games, etc!:goodvibes
Good morning all. It's Friday:cool1:. Not much happening here. I am going to pick up Iron Man for JImmy to watch tonight. Tomorrow we have baseball and then we are going to take him to see Iron Man 2. Other than that it will be the usual cleaning, laundry and grocery shopping.
Hope you all have a great day:goodvibes:hug:
You better keep it up or Jo will start yelling at you;)
Hey!!!! :rotfl2:
I talked to Jimmy's teacher today. She informed me that she is submitting Jimmy's name to be tested for MG classes. In way I'm quite proud, in the other I am a little nervous becasue the last thing he needs is more pressure. I think I am just going to let them test him and see where it goes and then worry about the right decision to make. He read Diary of a Wimpy Kid in 2 days :faint:
Fantastic :thumbsup2
That's awsome! Way to go! (And it's whose... "who's" is the contraction for "who is". I'm a grammar geek.)
Thanks, yikes on the $1,000 and your nose and good news about your Gran!
What a pain :sad2:
Aunt flo is gonna keep me home for a few days but the next day I go out I should finish all the work my leader gave me.
Kat please talk to the Dr about your periods when you see him, you shouldn't be housebound when they come :hug:
Have I told you about Boo and her boyfriend? Well we have a ginger cat that lives up the road and they play together in the garden, well he has now started coming in the house, first just through the back door (even using the catflap) then into the kitchen (where he eats her food) well the other day I came out of my bedroom door and the 2 of them are merrily coming up the stairs :eek: I just wonder what they do when I'm out :rotfl2:
Errr I think you need to move to Orlando
Sounds to me like you might need to move closer to Disney ::yes::
:rotfl2: Nice idea, no nope - too far from the water. ;)
What tim eis the race?
Good question - I need to check!
:hug: Sounds like a good approach - that's a tough call.
When I got out, the tech guy had been to my house and left - turned out it was the pump that was just dead. I keep telling myself that at least we didn't have to have the whole system replaced, but it was a $1,000 day. :scared:
ACK!!! :headache:
I feel you on the allergies. I even had problems in Disney when I was there. They are really bad this year.
This past weekend was okay, but prior to that, this was the first year I can remember my allergies doing anything at WDW! Ugh. Hope you fell better soon!
Just a quick update on my grandson. He fractured his thumb.:sad2:
Darn. But it sounds like it should be a quick heal, at least.
Yea we finally got insurance again...
Oh, I missed that - great news! :thumbsup2
Anyone watch Survivor????
::yes:: What a season! My money's on Parvati. Not that I necessarily hope she'll win, but I'm betting she does.
Have I told you about Boo and her boyfriend? Well we have a ginger cat that lives up the road and they play together in the garden, well he has now started coming in the house, first just through the back door (even using the catflap) then into the kitchen (where he eats her food) well the other day I came out of my bedroom door and the 2 of them are merrily coming up the stairs :eek: I just wonder what they do when I'm out :rotfl2:
OMG how funny - Boo's a harlot?! :rotfl:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Morning and Happy Friday! :banana: Allergies even worse today - yay. But I got an extra 20 minutes of sleep by skipping the blowdryer, so I'm a little more rested, lol!

I have Disney business to get done, and keep forgetting. Need to renew Leo's AP, get MNSSHP tix, add a resort room request and make yet another attempt at getting a Tony's Town Sqaure ADR. Wish I could do it all online.

Oh, I forgot to say. They sent her back to the nursing home from the hospital yesterday afternoon. My dad was unsure if she's ready - says her mental state is still very confused - but figured she might as well be confused in the nursing home, where maybe my mom can get a break. :rolleyes:

It's funny, but not. With my grandmother's existing mental issues, my dad (her SIL) is very frank with me about her dementia/paranoia, but Mom (her daughter) never says a word. I know my mom is worried about "turning out like my mom" but I find it interesting that she never tells me this stuff, where Dad does. At any rate, she's up to full "feeds" and so forth. ::yes::

I hope he's OK. :hug:

Glad she is back at the nursing home and TF going better. I try to get the families to go home and rest then---hospital stays really wear/stress you out. But some families insist on staying at the nursing home 24/7---we had one resident that said "I wish they'd leave now so I can pee and go to bed!" :rolleyes: Also, the room mates need rest too.

+++

well, I'm taking an ironing break! Daran got back about 8 last nite and working today all day so I'm trying to "predict" what he might need for the trip and ironing it! Which will probably mean I'm wrong!

I'm liking my new washer.......it washes clothes......rinses......and spins them dry! :thumbsup2 This amazes me--no leaks, no torn clothes, no hand wringing out the clothes. :sad2: Ask me what I think of Frigidaire Affinities??:laughing:

Glad your grandmother is doimg a little better. My one grandmother had some mini-stroke induced dementia and my other grandmother had a massive stroke years ago. They were in the same nursing home which made it easier on my parents but my grandmothers hated each other. It made for some interesting visits. :lmao:

I understand the parents thing. A few years ago I had to have a breast biopsy because they saw something. It was nothing. My mom said nothing to me my dad told me that dense tissue and cysts run in her family. It was a little starnge discussing that with him but at least I knew. My dad weas in the CCU for 2 days before my mom told any of us. She said it wasn't really any of our business. :confused3

Thanks.

Goodnight all!

I joined a gym about 2 years ago and having the trainer for a session or two was really helpful. I agree you should talk to your dr about Aunt Flo. My DIL was like that and I think the dr gave her somethng to help.

I was so upset to see Rupert go but I expected it. The only person left that I like is Colby. I even got Jim hooked on this but of course he missed it last night.

Poor kiddo! Give him a hug from the Fockers:hug: That's good that he still wants to go to the games, etc!:goodvibes

I will. I am really proud of him that he still wants to go and support the team knowing that he can't play. He is a really good kid.

Have I told you about Boo and her boyfriend? Well we have a ginger cat that lives up the road and they play together in the garden, well he has now started coming in the house, first just through the back door (even using the catflap) then into the kitchen (where he eats her food) well the other day I came out of my bedroom door and the 2 of them are merrily coming up the stairs :eek: I just wonder what they do when I'm out :rotfl2:

My cats get out through our doggy door. I have had some strange cats pay us a visit too. As long as they play nice I don't mind. :lmao:

I'm liking my new washer.......it washes clothes......rinses......and spins them dry! :thumbsup2 This amazes me--no leaks, no torn clothes, no hand wringing out the clothes. :sad2: Ask me what I think of Frigidaire Affinities??:laughing:

I will remember not to get that washer when mine goes.

Well I am still waiting to hear about my grandson and worrying. I should never look things up on the internet :rotfl2: especially when my kids have had so many broken bones between them that I lost count.

The baby has a double ear infection and pink eye. My daughter worries me sometimes. She thought the runny nose for the last 2 weeks was teething.

I have t-ball tonight. I'm praying for thunderstorms. :rolleyes1 Of course if we play that is one more game out of the way. This week has worn me out and I really just want to watch the Flyers win tonight. Of course I'm not allowed because when I watch they lose.

Hope you are all having a good day.

Dang..I'm tired of ironing...but it's getting there! Never been on a cruise and my cruise critic packing list is 10 pages long! Kinda scary!

janet---did you ever hear anything about your mammogram? mine came back
"suspicious" last week and I have been waiting and waiting....they said the radiologist needed to compare all the ones I'd had before...so I requested them to all be sent to one place. Kinda makes you nervous tho...

She doesn't have a roommate, and thankfully my mother has gone home and only visited for a couple of hours at the nursing home. I'm not sure why she had to stay at the hospital the whole week. :confused3

She had some nausea yesterday so they backed off, but she's back up to "30" this afternoon, if you understand that. :thumbsup2

I've had a nice day. I went on a walk with my good friend, then we went shopping and to lunch with my Irish twin-mom friend. It was nice! Then, I went to Target and got some bins to deal with D's office piles. I hate to put things into my cleaned out basement, but he's not going to deal with it anytime soon, because of working on the bathroom, and the office is still a wreck until it's all out of there. Every time he goes to training (2x/year) he gets two or three big plastic binders and a bunch of paperwork, and I don't know how much of it needs keeping or what. I can't do it, so...

Nothing at all going on tonight, which is nice. :goodvibes

Nah, I go back June 1st. Not really concerned about it. I figure if they can wait that long they aren't that concerned either!;)

Is that all you will get or will you get more if those get finished?

How is he liking the new job?

I'll keep getting more until the whole area is done or 8 weeks is up, which ever happens first.

He is liking it. It's so much easier than the last job, he said its so mellow he has started listening to music to stay alert. But it's all hispanic people in his department and a few are older ladies with kids and grandkids, so i tease him about going to work with his family everyday because they are so like them!

Kat please talk to the Dr about your periods when you see him, you shouldn't be housebound when they come :hug:

Oh it's the top of the list! And I am making an actual list too because i refuse to forget anything.

LOL @ Boo - the harlot! Is she fixed? If not you may have baby kitties soon. ;)

Oh, I missed that - great news! :thumbsup2

::yes:: What a season! My money's on Parvati. Not that I necessarily hope she'll win, but I'm betting she does.

I really don't like the way she plays the game...it just irks me. I love me some Russel!! I hated him last time but by the end you can't deny he is a great player.

Yea i have had issues ever since i hurt my back and started taking anti inflammatories from a dr i no longer see. I cant wait to go to the dr and try and get everything that ails me fixed! I'm touch and go with Rupert, I wanted to see Sandra go last night, oh well. I love Colby from Rachel ray and I'm surprised he lasted this long! It's gonna be a heck of a finale.

Dang..I'm tired of ironing...but it's getting there! Never been on a cruise and my cruise critic packing list is 10 pages long! Kinda scary!

Have a suitcase big enough for me? I want/need a vacation! I miss WDW.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not a heck of a lot going on today. Homebound except for a short trip later to see my boss and drop off my paperwork. I have some light cleaning to do so it's done before the weekend and we can relax some. I am also searching out some online deals for some TV trays and a few kitchen supplies I want.

I decided to buy myself a domain, which means I am going to see about starting myself a little side business. So do me a solid and go check em out and follow me!!! I'll be converting it all over eventually. :goodvibes

Hey Girls! :wave2:

I read, but I'm too tired to quote. I just finished dropping off all my work at the office. :faint: I'm exhausted, but I still have some work to do on the computer, but I can sit in bed and do that.

The girls have been busy baking again, Ells made fairy cakes and Jess made mini doughnuts, honestly I'm becoming the size of a house but they're so yummy :rotfl2:

Did you get it done? We didn't realy rate Tony's, it was OK but nothing special!
I did - snagged Tony's and Tutto! Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Tony's, but it's in the right location for our plans that day and I don't want to battler lines for CS, lol!

Hey ladies!

On my way to bed but wanted to say a hello before sleepy time.

Today we relaxed, did a bit of light cleaning and a few projects that needed doing. Then KC made breakfast for dinner and we watched Avatar (finally). I downloaded a bluray rip and the quality was beautiful. The movie was surprisingly good!

Tomorrow morning we are headed to the Bronx to visit the in-laws and then we are meeting up with KCs old work buddy/friend and going to Costco and maybe Target since he has a car!

Kc is off till wed so we plan to hit the gym a few more days, I need to do some work too and we are trying to make a dent in all these movies we keep downloading.

The only other bit of news is that my grandparents are coming for a visit from Fl next week. I invited them out to the city (again) and the declined because my aunt has made plans for a BBQ that day. So somehow I got roped into going back out there to se them. They have only been out here when we got married. :confused3 I am annoyed but it's been a really long time since I have seen them so we are going next Sunday.

Anyways time for sleeps. Night!

Hey all. Kind of a busy, non-busy weekend if you know what I mean.

Yesterday we had baseball at 10:00am and then we headed to see the 12:30 matinee of Iron Man 2. Good one:thumbsup2 If you go make sure to sit through all the credits through the end;) Then we cam home and I did the grocery shopping, we didn't need much, just some odds and ends so I was gone only about an hour. Came home and then made dinner and hung out watching the Phillies:thumbsup2

Today is laundry and cleaning for me and Jim is out doing yeard work that hasn't been done becasue its been so crazy. Making a roasted chicken for dinner tonight.

It's another busy week coming up though. Jimmy has a therapy appointment tomorrow. On Wednesday he has a medication check appointment and then baseball pictures at 6:00pm. Thursday I have meeting for the School Spring Fair. and then baseball again on Saturday. I actually can't wait for May to be over at this point;)

T - Thanks @ Jimmy and you go girl. Keep it up:goodvibes

V - Glad you go the ADR's you wanted.

Jo - Hope you back is feling better.
