The boys actually slept in today - even with D up and about getting ready to leave. I'm shocked!

They've not even had breakfast yet - been up for an hour, but playing Wii. It's sunny today - nice - but supposed to stay in the 50's and windy. Then we get a spate of gorgeous weather for the weekend!

In some ways, I am ready for them to head back to school and so forth - I think we're ALL ready for a normal week, since it's been 4 weeks since we've had one - but in others I can't believe it's already Thursday and there's really only one more "vacation" day of the week.

So, yeah, D's gone and there was some talk of going to use some of the birthday money for a new Wii game, so we may do that. Nothing planned except that we have to get to karate tonight, since we didn't go on D's birthday or theirs. I asked if it was "normal" schedule - I have to say I kind of wish he'd added some day classes during vacation week. Oh, well.

My kids always loved the tooth fairy visits. They just couldn't understand why their tooth fairy left the tooth. I don't do teeth. Don't touch them at all. I never did figure out what they did with their teeth.

Well I leave tomorrow and in true fashion it has been hectic. I went to the store last night and couldn't find my wallet, ANYWHERE. I called the last store that I remembered having it at and they said it wasn't there. Of course I had to cancel all my cards online last night and then get to the bank today and have new ones made. Then I had to go to the DMV for a copy of my license. I had to drive by the Target so I stopped by just in case and there was my wallet at customer service. What was really shocking is the $300 I had in the wallet was still there.

I had to go back to the drs because my allergies have gone into a full blown sinus and ear infection. I am hoping my ear doesn't have anything happen to it on the flight. I will be on 2 antibiotics, antihistamines, ear drops and a nasal spray. Hopefully the antibiotics finally start to kick in today.

I am all packed, have a few last minute things to get, need to make sure Jim won't starve while I'm gone and I took my exam last night. Now to hope that I can get to sleep early because I have to be at the airport really early.

She mentioned last nite that the new Sex and the city movie comes out on her birthday and since she is 17, she can go.........I dunno about that either....never seen the show. Bad??

It's fine, especially at that age. Personally I didn't like the first movie though, I prefer the TV show!

Just got home !!! Everything went well !! Surgery at 8am Judy got call to pick me up at 9:30am !! I was awake asking for coffee and food !!Got cofffee and graham crackers I'm a little sore and a lot sleepy but otherwise just fine !! Thanks for all the well wishes !!

I've been crazy busy! I've been training enumerators all week for the Census. Today was their first time out in the field, so it was an exciting day for them. I have a wonderful group, they're just really excited to be a part of history...boy I've been brainwashed by the Feds....

Anyway tomorrow they're tested and then all the trainers are hitting up Happy Hour.... I can't WAIT!

Miss chatting! I took my netbook to the training site today, in hopes I could snatch up the wi-fi service from the hotel across the street, but I wasn't able to. Darn!

Hello!!!!!! Remember me? I barely remember myself. I have been running on empty this week.

Training all week 830-5 has been long and slow. I wish Tracy was my Crew Leader- I bet her class is having MUCH more fun than me!

Tues we went to see Promises, Promises on Broadway. Neither of us really liked it much. Kristen Chenoweth was AMAZING tho, and was the only real highlight.

Yesterday and today KC has been out at night, I have been lazing around barely awake. Tonight I had "homework" because we have a "test" tomorrow. Then Saturday we are sent out into the job apparently. Even tho there is no clear way that can go on yet.

The PC is busted. We are waiting for a part to come and UPS seems to not want to deliver it after 5pm. I left a note asking them to leave it with a neighbor or come back after five, on our front door, and the sticky note saying the tried to deliver it was next to it on the door when I got home. ?!

KC & I are having a date night in tomorrow since we have barely seen each other in like 3 days. Movies and some take out I think.

And thats about that.

Happy Friday everyone Today is the the start of a very busy next couple of weeks. I am working 7:30 - 3:30 today s that I can get home early and do the stuff I ususally do on the weekends (luandry, cleaning, etc). Tomorrow Jim is going to a school district job fair, and Jimmy starts baseball. After baseball we are heading to the scout shop to pick up JImmy's wolf stuff. Then we will meet Jim at home and head to the carnival. Sunday in the am I will finish up what I don't get done tonight and then we are heading to my brothers in the afternoon. Tuesday we are going to the Phillies game and then Thursday we have Multi-Cultural Night at School. THe following week is book fair (Hi CE ) and the K-3 bake sale to help offset some of the costs of the class trip to the zoo. Then the last two weeks will be the push for the Spring Fair (Friday before Memorial Day) and the actual class trip on May 25th. Plus baseball is every Saturday. Can I have a drink now

Janet, you're making my head spin!

Hi, all!

Nothing going on here for me today until karate at 5:15, followed immediately by the stupid baseball parade. In theory it would be fine, but since they do it the week of vacation, a lot of people don't show up. Only the parents of the kids watch the parade, and then you're stuck (with the kids on the "big field" standing around) listening to the same dumb speeches for a half hour. Swell. At least it's not supposed to rain.

Tomorrow the first baseball game is at 11:30, then we have Deb's DD6's birthday party at 3:00 (she was born on my boys' 2nd birthday, but they delayed her party 'til this weekend.)

Sunday should be relatively quiet - just baseball practice in the evening again. But next week's "weeknight" game is Monday, so... No break there. After that, though, no baseball again until next Saturday, so that's kind of good.

My week should be relatively calm, especially since D's away and I can't play my tennis matches.

The Spring League plays at night, and I signed up for two teams, but also had to say that I will be pretty unreliable - and here, in the first week, is why. D's original schedule had him flying Monday into Tuesday afternoon, but home in time for me to play Tuesday night, and Wed. night for the other team. Now he's flying M-W and I can't do either match. Luckily, my old babysitter who started college this year should be home for the summer in 2 weeks, so I'll have more options. She can babysit on a school night, where my current sitter can't.

Anyway, that's what's going on here. Hope you have a wonderful Friday!

Apparently there's a marathon the weekend we initially planned to go, so now I've moved the dates up a little to see if there's better availability. But I just saw Rosie say they've announced FD to the Visa holders... I'm sure that'll mess things up a little more. ugh.

Other than that nothing new. Have today off, wishing I had a pool because the weather is gorgeous. Hopefully it'll stay like that throughout the weekend. :::crossing fingers::::

Hey all. Have been home since about 4:15pm. I have cleaned the bathroom and changed the curtains in Jimmy's room. Now I am going to start the laundry. (See Z, cleaning CE style).

Good morning! Quiet around here!

I'm just taking a few before jumping in the shower and moving on with my day. The boys have baseball from 11:30-1:30, and then we have to go buy the birthday present (I was at Target yesterday and just totally spaced it. D'oh. ) before heading to Deb's DD's party at 3:00. Then, we're invited to an after-party at their house for the evening. Somewhere in there we'll have to come home and change from baseball and get the dog out, too. I really, really wish I'd remembered to get a present yesterday, because that would leave us with a chunk of "between time" that I just don't have. Once we go, I'm running like a madwoman all day, I think.

So, I hope you all have a good day! I know Janet's busy. I hope everyone else is a little more relaxed!

Evening all! Had baseball at 10:00, but we had to be there at 9:30 for them to hand out shirts, hates, etc. That was actually done by 11:15. From there we ran to 7-11 to grab some drinks because Mother of the Year I am I forgot to take a water bottle for Jimmy Then we went to the scout hope to pick upi Jimmy's wolf stuff/ Cam home, sat for like 45 minutes and then headed to the carnival to meet Jimmy's friend Tyler and his dad at 3pm. Kids had a great time but we are home now and Jimmy is exhausted and so am I I am actually going to go jump in the shower and then give Jimmy his bath. Then I am going to do a load or two of laundry and then just hang out on the patio. It's still 80 degrees out

Tomorrow I will prbably pop in, in the morning, but then we are headed to my brothers in the afternoon.

A co worker told me this true story !!
A friend of his has a close family friend with an austistic son !! The young mna is very well built "Huge " was the description !!
He calls his Mom at work and says " I caught a TROLL!!!!" Now as he kinda lives in a fantasy world she just said "That's Nice " !!! He called her several more times and added the Troll was locked in his closet !!!!
When she came home about 3 hours later she found his closet door barricaded !!! She hears banging !! Moves the furniture to find "alittle" Jehovah witness locked in the closet !! He had knocked on the dor and been mistaken for a TROLL!!

Can you imagine what the Mom felt like and the poor Troll !! He was okay and no charges were pressed !! But although it was awful him being locked up it is HYSTERICAL too !!

It's pouring here, well it is a bank holiday weekend so it's to be expected Not sure if you saw my FB post yesterday but our local DIY store burnt down yesterday, they think it was arson as a few hours later another store had a fire. Well the store that burnt is in a big row of stores and next door is a carpet store where we have just bought carpets from (they called a few days ago to say they'd arrived and would be fitted on Wednesday) So now I don't know if my carpets were affected or not and the phones won't be working, the news did say the fire spread there but some reports just say smoke. But I don't want smokey carpets either Thing is we were going to rip the old ones up tomorrow but I don't want to do that and then be without for a few weeks, especially as Ellie has her Birthday party here on Saturday, what to do, what to do

Jim just ran to the grocery store, I have put the luandry away, and Jimmy is playing Bionicles. We are heading to my brothers about 2pm. Need to take a shower and then get a few other things done.
