Team Focker Watch: Lucky Number 13!

That TR was BS, IMO.

Right? No one could remember every single detail like that. It wasn't a recount of events, but more of a 'making up as I go along, story'. BUT, Tracy(MrsKsomeday) posted on page 1 and it makes me think she may know this person. :confused3

Some TLC from you guys will help though !!!
Lots of hugs coming your way Rosie :hug:

I cleaned and cleaned on Saturday - since we're gone, and since my parents are both coming for a while, we are having someone sleep in our room rather than relegating someone to the uncomfortable sofa bed in the office, which isn't typical.
Are both sets of parents coming? Have a fantastic trip :goodvibes

I told my dad. He was very impressed. Then he started asking me all kinds of golf questions? What kind of course? (There are different kinds:confused3) What was the par on the hole?
It was a par 3, about 185 yards :thumbsup2

Yet, he cried for 45 minutes... Things seem to be better now,
Awww bless, poor little thing, he's the sensitive one, right?

Hey,
Has anyone seen Leesa aka "Lifelong Dreamer " post lately? I know she is busy with school.
No it wouldn't be Lessa!

SD was accepted to his University of choice, which I won't post here, as we appear to have LURKERS! LOL The day after the acceptance letter came, he got one saying that his "Outstanding GPA and ACT scores have earned him the Presidential Merit Scholarship" and will pay him 38K over 4 years!!! THANK YOU!!!! WOW!!!!
That is amazing, well done :thumbsup2

:furious: :furious: :furious:

That is all.
I'm sorry, can you ditch her? Or ditch the Brownies?

Of course Crystal thinks that no homework and a substitute is good because they get to play in school alot.
I would have too at her age :rotfl2:

Hence why Jim and I are pretty much taking over the pack next year;)
You are????? popcorn::

At work and also, becasue I don't have enough to do, looking for PT job. Thinking I may be able to get back to my happy place sooner if I do so. We'll see;) Also figure an employee discount somewhere wouldn't hurt for the Holidays:thumbsup2
Wow, when would you fit it in? Good luck!

I never heard back from the 3 interview job & I am a lot annoyed at them. After all that can't I get a courtesy call, and if they don't want me for supervisor can't they offer me the cashier job? I went through an outside company so I don't even have a # to call.
Bummer, can you call anywhere?

Played golf again, this time in Canterbury (of Canterbury Tales) and it was so sunny and beautiful, however it was soooo windy and it was hard to stand up which made playing golf pretty tricky :rotfl: We were leading all the way round then the oppostition holed some enormous putts and we lost the last 3 holes which meant we lost the match :mad: Oh well, will now just have to win all the rest :rotfl:

I then dropped the girls off at the local fireworks show, I didn't want to go as I hate those things when David is at work because the girls disappear and I'm left on my own as everyone is with their hubbies!!!!

My prize arrived in Ireland, it was a Wii console with sports resort (friend paid me €100 for it which is about £75 or $100 BTW I'm just showing off with all my currencies to annoy TE, I hope she sees :rotfl2: ) also 9 bottles of Jacobs creek wine, 3 DVD's (Notebook, The Commitments, Motorcycle Diaries) and 2 games Twister and Trivial Pursuit. She is sending the DVD's on, keeping the wine and I told her to donate the games to the school raffle or something unless she wants them too :thumbsup2 Oh and I also won £10 yesterday as I predicted where it would rain with Walkers crisps :rotfl:

It just seemed like someone who wants to be a writer making up a TR about Disney. Maybe Tracy does know her?!

Bummer, can you call anywhere?

I am going to search the internet for a # but it was an outside company that i dealt with and they cant tell me anything specific. :(

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
2 posts in a day...can ya tell I'm stuck home in the rain?
i'm trolling the internet for some jobs in between straightening up around here. and watching some old episodes of Friends for noise in the background.
I really hope this rain stops after today. Saturday is a leaving/birthday of a co worker party at KC's job since it's his last day, should be fun. Good Cuban food is always a plus.
back to craigslist I go.....
Nope, I don't know the poster.
As you said I posted early on in the report before every detail like a romance novel was posted in the installments. I have no clue whether it is true or not, but I don't know the person.
Darn! I was hoping you did! :lmao: I'm not sure I even want to continue, since she already gave away that is has a happy ending. :confused:
Just to let you know Lessa posted on her thread !!Just busy with school!!!! Doesn't sound like she has any free time !!! But it was good to hear from her !!!
I agree with everyone else! Sounds like a romance novel to me;)
Morning all. Well, I got a call from Target last night. I have to call their HR people this morning to set up an interview. Wish me luck. Although me working at Target may not be a good thing. Will probably spend more than I make:rotfl2: We'll see. The extra money will come in handy:thumbsup2. UPDATE: I have an interview next Thursday at 9:30am (We are off for Veteran's Day)
Another busy weekend too. We have scouts tonight. Tomorrow we have the University of Scouting Pow Wow (For leaders), and then Sunday is soccer and then meeting with my co-chair for book fair.
Not much else going on here.
CE - In case you check in. Have a great trip!
Jo - Will give dad that info. I am sure he will duly impressed.
Kat - Didn't you say the place was only 2 blocks from your place? Take a walk down and talk to someone ::yes::
I read the Canterbury Tales in the original language. I loved them. Canterbury is on my bucket list, OK England is on my bucket list. I would be happy sitting in the airport. :lmao:
You are really the luckiest person I know. Do you ever lose?
I think that TR is pure fiction as well as another one over there. The styles are very similar. I keep notes and can't remember that many details of my trips, let alone dialogue.
Good Luck. I would love to get a PT job but I can't see it happening anytime soon.
Go Hokies! My niece went to VA Tech for her bachelors and masters. She graduated last year, or the year before. I lose track of time sometimes. My bother lives in VA.
Morning all. It's FRIDAY. :yay: I celebrate not having kids after today until monday. :lmao:
The rain stopped but I am feeling it yet. My knee is fine but now I am having bad back spasms. I refuse to take pain meds so I will suffer in silence until the asperin kicks in. I have a feeling my plans for a movie tonight are out now however.
Oh well the kids are being really good today so I am off to more photopass pics editing. Not looking forward to Aug when I will probably have 3 times as many pics to edit.
Good luck and as Janet said, go and ask in store, they can only say no :thumbsup2
Hello long long Fockers!
Hey TE, I did a post a few posts back showing off with my €£$ :rotfl2:
I read the Canterbury Tales in the original language. I loved them. Canterbury is on my bucket list, OK England is on my bucket list. I would be happy sitting in the airport. :lmao:
I hope you make it one day, England is beautiful :goodvibes
You are really the luckiest person I know. Do you ever lose?
All the time :rotfl2: I enter tons and probably win about 1%!!!
A bit rainy here today, but so warm, it does not feel like November :rotfl2: I golfed again, yes in the rain, but we only did 15 holes before the rain got too hard and we gave up. Jess is playing in a comp tomorrow so fingers crossed it doesn't rain on her!
The house across the street from my sister is for sale, and my BIL asked my mother why didn't they buy it. So now they are seriously considering moving here. :confused: When I asked my sister why she wanted them to move so badly, she said she's drowning and needs help. Her MIL has been over there every day this week. I kind of think it's a little presumptuous to want your mother to move so she can help with your children. But since I don't have any, maybe that's normal. :confused3 My dad doesn't want to leave Memphis, but my mom and g'mom are all for it. So we'll see what happens.
So who has a Keurig and what should I know about picking one????
Get the Platinum ($200) or better and order your k-cups from Amazon's subscribe and save section.
Listen, my mother lives with me and helps me with Leo... and I totally agree that that's more than a little presumptuous, lol! Wow.
Hiya! :wave: Just doing a drive-by - been a crazy week. Have I stopped by at all since Monday? I can't even remember. Well, if not, we had a great weekend at WDW - Halloween was a blast! Some pics and tales are in my TR now, but if you don't care to read, suffice it to say a fun, spooky time was had by all. :thumbsup2
Coming up, the Breeder's Cup races start in a bit, I need to do some Bday/Hannukah/Xmas shopping, and I've got a bunch of school stuff to do. Another weekend will go by much too fast.
See y'all next week!
Hey there Fockers, a little birdie alerted me that that there was some sort of "scandal" about me over here. I checked out that TR, don't know why OhMari would think it was me, not even remotely similar to my writing style, not to mention I'm not married and I would never write something so personal in a trip report. :rolleyes: Thanks for sticking up for me. :goodvibes
I have been super busy with school. Today I had my second day of clinical practice, first day working with a patient. Unfortunately I did not get to do much as my patient's regular nurse sort of took control and rushed things along as my patient had to be somewhere so there was a time limit and nursing students are usually very slow. ;) School is going well though, still all A's. I probably sound cocky when I say this but I really don't know why everybody was going on about how "hard" nursing school would be, doesn't seem all that hard to me. :confused3 There is a lot of reading involved and that is where most of my time gets sucked up but the material itself is not difficult.
Mom and I are talking about a possible May trip either to WDW or a cruise, hopefully that pans out, I could probably use a vacation at the end of the school year. :laughing:
Hope everybody over here is doing well. :goodvibes I know about Janet and TE's sad news from Facebook, have I missed anything else important?
I can't think of anything worse :rotfl2:
Not cocky at all Less it's because you're a clever girl :hug: Good to see you BTW!
I just had an email saying I've won a digital camera, I went and found the competition and it says it will be worth £500/$750 so should be an SLR :yay::yay::yay:
Good luck, what kind of hours?
Nope, not cocky. Ususally the ones who say that are the ones who don't want to do the actual work:thumbsup2
