A bit rainy here today, but so warm, it does not feel like November I golfed again, yes in the rain, but we only did 15 holes before the rain got too hard and we gave up. Jess is playing in a comp tomorrow so fingers crossed it doesn't rain on her!

Hey all! Just a quick check in before bed.

I called the store I interviewed at and was told that the manager had been backlogged and would be getting back to me soon, as she wasn't in the office. Who knows. I haven't stopped looking at least.

Tomorrow I am off to check out the new Disney Store in Times Square and then meet KC for dinner with his (after tomorrow) old work people. And apparently Old Navy is having a 50% off outerwear sale and there's a coat KC liked so I will check that out too.

Sorry peeps for the lack of updating. I simply have to get some outside work done before the temps plummet. Now I have to go back to work. It's a never-ending vicious cycle.

I skimmed enough to know that it was raining on the east coast and someone is writing a un-romance novel on the Dis - If I had time to write that much, I'd be doing it for money.

Kyle's parade went well I was freezing cold standing watching !!Oh the things we endure for the kids !!!His float had Mickey on it !!!The girls football team lost the championship Now they are talking about a weekend in Buffalo in a hotel with the cheerleaders but want me to go as chaperone !!!Their Mom has plans so I have Kyle to watch and they even said bring him!!!!I really feel I should have to work Sounds like a good out other than I have Kyle !!!Dang can't see how I can get outta it !!!

Well, if not, we had a great weekend at WDW - Halloween was a blast! Some pics and tales are in my TR now, but if you don't care to read, suffice it to say a fun, spooky time was had by all.

Yesterday was a good football day. I was explaining to Reid that Auntie's team played Emmy's (his g'mom) team, and next week Auntie's team plays Uncle Mooch's team. Just to make sure he says Go Vols for me. We changed the channel to horse racing and he got mad. But when the race was over and we went back to football, he got mad about that too. Poor kid trying to keep up with everything.

It's cold her this morning but supposed to warm back up tomorrow. Thank goodness.

This afternoon our niece & my brother-in-law are hanging out here, she wanted to see us- we were so happy! Apparent BIL wants to cook dinner, I don't let my husband cook so this should be interesting.

I went to the new Disney Store in Times Square yesterday and it was MEH. It'll be fun to check out with other Disney fans but really its just a larger store than usual with a small NYC section of stuff. Oh well. I did buy some Vinylmations tho!

I can only imagine what the "busier" parks were like. Yikes! I think I brought my MN weather with me. It's chilly! This coming from me!

Loving the resort. Living life! So excited that we have 9 more sleeps!

Hey all. Crazy busy weekend. We had the Scout training all day yesterday. Today we had soccer and then my co-chair came over and we got everything ready for books fair. Flyers, letters, etc that have to be approved by the principal before they can go out.

I have my interview at Macy's tomorrow, at 5:45. Wish me luck!

Had a busy, productive weekend, and now back to the grind. I'm beginning to feel perpetually two steps behind. Hoping having the day off Thurs. (Leo still has school) will help me catch up some. I've got more papers to write, cleaning and shopping to do, and vacations to plan. Still working on our SW trip and OMG - I'm off to Orlando in 5ish weeks! Sooooo not ready.

Good morning. It's cold (47) but IT IS NOT SNOWING At work..yipee. Interview scheduled for 5:45. Macy's will be a bit safer for me, as I don't shop there as much so I really hope I get it. Travel wise it is the same for me to Target or Macy's.

Yesterday we had soccer. I posted Jimmy's picture on FB then my friend came over and we got everything organized for Book Fair. I got no laundry done this weekend, so I will be doing that tonight

Not much on the agenda fot today, tomorrow, or Wednesday. Thursday is Veterans Day so we are all off from work/school. I have the Target interview 9:30 Thursday morning, and then Jimmy has a therapy appointment at 1:00. We may check out Megamind after that. Friday is Scouts and then Saturday is the start of Scouting for Food. I am supposed to go to the casino with my cousin on Saturday, but if I get the job I will probably have to work

Just started wrapping gifts for christmas !!!I am late strting but as money is tight there wasn't much to wrap yet !!! Have stuff on layaway though so as I get that out I will be busy !!! Haven't touched Judy's gifts forthe kids yet as am confused as to who gets what !!

Have to work today 3p - 12 a. This week at my regular job is gonna be busy as I am sooooo far behind I can see some 12 hour days coming up!!

I didn't think it was that cold until I got into my car and my low tire indicator was on. I am still wearing shortsleeves and a hoodie jacket.

I forgot about thursday. That means I have 4 kids to watch. I actually like thursdays because 2 of the kids are in school. I love the kids but they wear me out some days.

Just started wrapping gifts for christmas !!!

I bought one gift so far for Crystal and then had to give it to her on Halloween. She spilled chocolate milk all over her arm at my house before we went out to trick-or-treat.

Morning all.

I wish I were getting a job where I actually got paid but that won't happen this year. Hope all of you looking find one though.

I helped my daughter hang a light in her dining room yesterday and now it won't turn off. Changed the switch and that isn't the problem either. Now my dad, the electrician, has to come up and figure it out. He was here earlier this morning but my daughter doesn't have a ladder and I couldn't get in touch with him to tell him yesterday. She also has to get someone out to check the heating and air conditioning AGAIN!!! She had someone out 3 or 4 times last year and they swore it was fixed. Yep, it isn't. The air and heat both run together. It is probably a wiring problem but now it isn't under warranty and they don't have a spare cent to pay for it. Then again they are paying huge bills to the utilities companies so they can't afford not to get it fixed.

I have been busy with my photopass pics but that site drives me crazy. I only get a few done at a time before I have to start all over. I am also busy planning my August trip for my grandson's 1st visit to Disney. We decided to upgrade to the regular dining plan from the quick service so now I have to figure out where we are eating and then check with my daughter and my other grandson. Jay may be going in March with his mother who has absolutely no clue on what she is doing. They think they can walk up to any restaurant and get a seat for around 6 people with no problem. I told him to have her call me. She is going to need lots of HELP!!!

Oh well I'm off to photopass again. Have a nice day.

I'm a cashier supervisor, i dunno the actual title (lol) but I will be over seeing a bunch of cashiers & in charge of counting the registers in and out, making change, and getting everyone on breaks too. I'm actually really excited about it and the proximity to the house RULES! I can literally walk home for lunch.

Not feeling too hot today, trying to just stay in and relax and take care of the small things around the house. I have a whole pumpkin we cooked that needs pureeing and straining, I wanna make some cupcakes too (pumpkin naturally).

Tomorrow morning I have to go to the social security office because apparently I lost/misplaced the card with my married name on it. So I need it for work, thus the trip to a good old government office in the not so nice part of Brooklyn. Yippie.

Afterwards I am gonna try and make my way to the Grand Opening of the Disney Store in Times Square. There are a bunch of celebs that are going to be there and there is talk of free mickey ears!!

THEN there is a comedy show near us for $3 so if KC & I are alive by then we will check it out, we had fun there last time.

Then Wed & Thurs I work and get my schedule worked out so I can get onto a schedule again!

We got to see our niece again yesterday, this time we cooked here and hung out, played a few wii games, and she traumatized our cats some. The worst thing we learned was she had asked her mom to stop at our house and she told her no, not without her father. She lives 2 blocks from us and it really made me sad. Anyways...here she is with aforementioned traumatized kitties....

Hello Focker friends--

I know today is Monday----

last week I messed up and paid my mortgage twice (online)--and I finally got them to credit one payment back....BUT they didn't credit my checking account back. So that was worth most of my morning and not done yet....

and then we find this morning that one of our credit cards has been stolen and someone is on a Walmart shopping spree with it. Luckily they started denying charges after $9,000 (actually it was 2500 but they tried it up to 9000 at different Walmarts)
We think we must have dropped the card at the game on Thurs night judging by where the charges were. I don't think we are liable for any of it which is a relief--pretty stressful though. We are refinancing our mortgage right now and really don't want any big waves!

So that was worth poor hubby's morning trying to sort that out.


So, it's raining Amazon vouchers in England??? I think I translated that correctly??! I could use some of those!


And Janet wants to moonlight at Macy's? We don't have one anywhere near here or I'd try to get in on that employee discount!

I'm taking Ab up to George Mason this weekend to look around campus---visiting a friend from high school on Fri nite which should be fun! Got Sat nite free if any Fockers want to have a DC meet!

That will save a ton of money, not having to buy lunch. If I forget my lunch I notice a huge difference in the weekly budget

Yikes You mean the credit card company didn't pick it up quicker than that. One time Jim paid for a vet bill and the went and put gas in his car and the credit card compnay had him on the phone before he even finished putting the gas in the car

I got the job I have training (8 hours) on Thursday. We are off for veterans day, so I decided to get it done in one shot instead of in 2 4 hour blocks. THen Saturday I have a 4 hour orientation. I will be working anywhere from 20 to 30 hours a week and I can add shifts online if I want. They only open at an awful hour on Black Friday, which I won't work becasue I told them that I was not available on Friday's due to Cub Scouts.

And I get a 20% employee discount (even on sale AND Black Friday prices) Guess where everyone is getting their gifts from this year

Hopefully it might turn into perm. p/t after January. If not, oh well....

So, I am going to call Target today and cancel that interview.

On the sad note though --- Jo I may not be able to meet you It will al depend on the work schedule. Will let you know for sure though.

Not much on the schedule today. I do have to call the eye doctor to cancel an appointment for SAturday, that they keep calling to remind me about...even though I have cancelled it twice alread ANd I found a couple of Pokemon things on Amazon that I want to order for Jimmy for Christmas. The one thing I noticed, is that other that DVD's, you don't find much Pokemon stuff in the stores

We also ordered the Wii for in-store pick up. Just waiting for the final email letting us know that everything we ordered is in, and I will go pick that up.

So I am going to Disney World! The family decided last night that we are going to use the 30% off pin code and go for two weeks in May. So excited!

I'm procrastinating on school work right, have a three hour break between classes and don't feel like doing anything. Had nursing lab this morning and I can not for the life of me find a brachial pulse.
