Ok, so here is my first post to ya'll

PaMOM, so you are the Yankee Ambassador eh? Can i be assigned to your staff?

I am born and bred Yankee living in the land of Dixie (Atlanta...gee didn't we burn this place down in the Civil War?!?!?!) with my partner Kelly.

Kelly is how would you say, a Souther Bell He is a sweetie, born and lived here in Atlanta for all but 3 years of his 47 years. He is always teasing me about being a Yankee..so much so that I registered a website called...maineyankee LOL! Never did anything with the site, just bought it to tease him

Hi everyone! I'm not a regular over here on the Community Board, but I do check in once in awhile! I've been a Focker from the beginning and I wear my LGMHs & Focker lanyard with pride.

I just wanted to say "Hi!" using my new screen name. I'm looking forward to Focking some DIS'ers in 3 weeks! I'm also looking forward to vacationing with my 1st Focker Croc!

BTW, someone's gotta PM me when the details of next year's Lapu Fest is worked out!!!

I moved back from Clearlake to Fairfield and I am living with Josh (I cant remember if I told you guys or not) but I just got a job at Sears in Lawn and Garden and I am going to get a full time job at a bank in November... hopefully soon I'll be back at DL with all the $$ i plan on making!! riiight like that will happen...

Hopefully tonight Josh is going to hook it up so I can go online in his/our room...

I have the Lime List I am on a Tagless Thread. The first tag is a take off of a tag I made myself(DisVeteran - Successfully Dodging the Tag Fair for 500+ posts). The second tag is from one TR I was on. Someone pimped their TR on this one persons TR and I said, "You've piqed my interest, I'll be over." I don't know whose report I was on and which TR I went to(am I making sense? ). If I knew I would thank these people. I had my self tag for a long time and it was about 1-2 weeks ago that I said the piqueing interest comment.

POFQ was a little on the small side for us. I need my chaise lounge and little sofa. Do they not have those at WL or AKL? I'll have to check out allears.

We had a little table with two chairs and two on the balcony in our bunk bed room (which was great for the kids, btw.) But, no, no chaise or sofa. We weren't concierge, however...

Borg - I was thinking the same thing! Should we wait till we've got a date, or start a thread for figuring out a date? And, really, how likely is it that it'll be A date anyway? I know Labor Day weekend only works for some folks and doesn't work for others... maybe we need a few Laup-fests scheduled for next year?

As for me, I'm pushing for the weekend of 8/16-17, as it's the only option in which I'll have DS with me. And I know how much he enjoyed playing with the other kiddos - I'd hate for him to miss out.

Well, finally got on this morning, after going up and down ALLLLL Day yesterday and again last night. Stupid Comcast says if it rains it disrupts service, and my comment was not for human consumption (g) In fact Kelly was so tired of hearing me complain, that he shut the bedroom door so he could have some quiet!

Anyhow, I am back again for the time being, until the next batch of t-storms rolls in....

So the cool news is Kelly and I were talking and he said to me, well we really need to get you to Disney so you can see the Christmas Decorations and see the hotels and such. I said, really?...So could we go like around Dec 5-9th o so? He laughed and said...oh something going on then? I said well there is this "little" meet going on and we can see a few friends. He laughed again and said if you'd like we can go, as long as we keep it low key this trip.

LOW KEY? ME???? MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

So i need to decide if we really are going to Mousefest or not...decisions, decisions... Reason that stops me from wanting to go, is we are going home to my family for Christmas (Kelly has never been to Maine in the winter!) AND...AND....he want to drive from here to there! Oh boy...

Oh btw...for the person who asked...I am NOT really artisitic...in fact got a stack of LGMH's sitting here for me to do something with them...what to do what to do...
