Official good morning to everyone!
Did a quick pop-in earlier to check on Meeska prior to handling some domestic tasks. Coffee is made and ready for whenever everyone else wakes up.

We were out until almost midnight at a bar mitzvah party last night and no religious school this morning because of the Thanksgiving holiday, so I expect everyone else to have a bit of a sleep in.
You're asking these DVC owners if you should do it?
DVC!! DVC!! DVC!!
We're still trying to rationalize the cost. I think we may be almost there on that.

We like the idea of keeping a June trip by either using the BLT promotion for a 5-night trip w/$1k gift card or purchasing an SSR contract with usable point.
I think we're leaning towards BLT at the moment. The cost is more up front, but it, along with ALK, are the only two properties that seem to have an official 5 person occupancy for a one bedroom. For fear of getting the thread shut down, I won't go into any unofficial policies. We read this thread on occupancy from the DVC forum (
Occupancy Thread). It may only be an issue the next 7-10 years as we have no idea what the kids will want to do once they get into the "young adult" stage.
Our neighbors down the street are a family of 5, and they've never had an issue with a one bedroom at any of the DVC resorts. They've always told the CM when making the reservation that they have 5 in their party. All the same, I think I'd rather be within the stated occupancy requirements as the norm.
OMG! Please don't tell me you buy boxed taco shells??!!!

Sick.
Am I going to have to hold a taco shell making class?
Sign me up for lessons as well.
I tried catching up, but my sister's computer is super slow and it seems I've missed a lot.
This morning, when we got up, my sister gave me a facial. She is taking classes to be an aesthetician.
On a sad note: my brother lost his job a week ago due to reorg and a couple days ago he shot a nail through his thumb with a nail gun. OUCH!
Cool on the facial; hope you enjoyed it!

Not so cool on the lost job, and really not cool about the nail. That had to hurt.
My MIL's 70th birthday is today and we're surprising her with a lunch out at Maggiano's. Eric's brother and SIL are meeting us there with their four boys. She'll be very surprised that they came down. And we bought her a really nice watch with an inscription on the back. I also picked up flowers and a balloon for the table. Should be a nice afternoon, but I know that I'll stuff myself too full of all that good Italian food!
Hope you had a blast at the b-day lunch!

We really like Maggiano's, but we always end up with stuff to take home because the portion sizes are huge.
I'm on the 1st glass of red wine.....who's with me!?
I wish I had wine... All we have is a bottle of something too strong and no mixer.
We don't need no stinkin' mixers!

Grab a shooter and you're set!
Looks like I missed another evening at the TFW bar. Ah well, it was in a good cause, and I would not have wanted to miss DS6 doing the macharena. It was so cute.
Thanks, we moved it to tomorrow since KC has an old friend in town. But i am looking fwd to it!
Ellie sung a solo in Church this morning and she was so cute, she's got a cold and you could hear it in her voice but she still managed it

Jess on the other hand had a face like thunder the whole morning
I guess my good morning may be a little late, so good afternoon!

Sounds like it went well with Ellie. Is Jess under the weather?
Well, we woke up this morning to the first snow of the season. The girls are super excited, but the snow seems to have knocked out our satellite TV, so that's a bummer. It's coming down pretty good in really big wet flakes. The ground is covered already. I know that Jo will be jealous, right?
Yup. Definite bummer on the TV. The problem with satellite systems is you can have difficulties getting signal with any kind of heavy precipitation.
Headed to church in a little bit and then home to watch football and finish the laundry. I've also got to figure out what to do with all my turkey leftovers. I bought some frozen amish noodles, so I guess I'll make turkey & noodles this afternoon.
Have fun with church and football! Laundry never ends.

We've got that on our agenda for the day as well. Mrs. T made a turkey soup, so that's on our meal plan for the day.

I've still got some work that I can get done before the end of month billing, so that looks like it will fill out the remainder of my dance card for the day. Catch up with y'all later when I take a break from work.
TTFN!
