Sorry V, anything more complicated than dialing and talking and I am lost! I just learned how to text a couple of months ago:upsidedow

We are expecting a snowstorm today. It's supposed to start late this afternoon and they are predicting up to 8 inches of snow!

It's supposed to be 80 today and 60 tomorrow. :sad2: And we have a tornado watch unil 5pm.

saw a temple from 725 AD!!!!!
I cannot wrap my mind around something being so old. Amazing. ;)

I have my big tree and the patriotic tree finished and later I'm going to finish the Tennessee tree. Yea, they won yesterday. :cheer2: Which means absolutely nothing. I tried to take a picture of the cats under the tree, but of course, they were not under there together!

Another day of football!:cool1: But the Colts and Giants are on at the same time. :headache: Have a happy Sunday everyone! :goodvibes

Boys have got them, too :headache: Trust K. ;)

Yes. Trust K. And M. ::yes::

Fockers...

Tell me about iphones. What can i do with one? What does it not do? Is there a less costly, but equally functional equivalent?

V: Bob says to send him a message on FB. He'll answer any and ALL questions on the Iphone. He's had one for a while now and uses pretty much EVERY function as it's his "home away from home" alot. He's had EVERY equivalent out there, from every carrier.
And, he's taken all his Japan photos on it!
He knows phones. ::yes::

MEL:banana:

Good morning.

I am sick.

Blah.

I have some uber-cold. Yay for me's.

In other news...we have flurries coming down outside! Doesn't look like it will stick though.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Ugh, get better Jen.

What's the word on Tera? How is she feeling!

Ugh. I just got home from Target AGAIN! I bought A's Santa gifts and a few more plates. I'm redoing the dishes and it's making me mad I can only 3 here, 4 there. I wish I could 9 of each thing all at one time. :sad2:

So, I think I'll chill the rest of the day. I'm going to go through my Christmas decorations and weed out the things I've grown out of and add them to the garage sale pile I'm making for extra trip money. :thumbsup2

I think I'll watch a few epsiodes of the that monarchy show I recorded so I can delete them. have a nice afternoon, Fockers. :goodvibes

HI Fockers, just skimmed the last few pages...

Jen please send Tera my postive thoughts and
and feel better yourself:hug:

Mel - when does Bob get home, I'm not on FB but I am tempted to go sign up.

Jo - don't you leave soon?:cool1:

Um, you mean taco shells don't always come in a box?:confused3 Who knew.;)

Unfortunately I have had too much drama over the long weekend.

Bonnie got some virus and got dehydrated on Wed. and landed in the emergency room. She still didn't eat or drink enough and was back in the emergency room Friday still dehydrated. She is now at her son's house recuperating.
When I got home from the emergency room on Friday I noticed the back Namath's ears were bright red and bald. Off to the vet early Sat. morning. He is having some sort of allergic reaction to one of the meds. So all meds have been stopped, pumping him with antihistamines and using bendryl spray and are seeing another Vet tomorrow at 6:30.
The weather is lousy here so I have opted not to go the Jets game today, as I would probably end up sick.
The good news is my house is decorated and the cards are more than half done. What is bought is wrapped and I only need a few more gifts to buy. I have also started the Christmas Day menu as I am hosting the whole family at my house.

i am now on the couch for the rest of the day relaxing.

What's everyone else up to?

I know not everyone is on Bob's FB, and I wish I could share all his pics from Japan here.... Maybe I'll try to upload some for you guys! They are simply amazing. He hiked up another mountain yesterday, learned how to do the tea ceremony from adorable 8 yr old kids and saw a temple from 725 AD!!!!! Holy Cow!
Sounds great and how cool you got to talk to him via webcam :goodvibes

WHen I read stuff like this I am so glad I have a boy:scared:
Errrr Janet they have them too :rotfl2:

I have my big tree and the patriotic tree finished and later I'm going to finish the Tennessee tree.

Uh oh I saw what Target did to you yesterday ;) :rotfl2:

I've spent some time this afternoon making Christmas cards, I had about 10 minutes of peace before the girls found me and joined in :rotfl2: There was card and glitter flying everywhere :rotfl2:

I also just destroyed a lemon meringue pie, I was checking if it was cooked all the way through and kind of mushed it up, still tasted nice though :rotfl2:

Well... once it gets in the mouth... it kind of gets destroyed anyway ... and past the mouth is a complete mess...:rotfl2:

So are ya all packed ??

Glad to see Meeska, is doing some better.. YIKES:scared1: ... why couldn't they remove the stones... that's a lot to still have to pass. Seems like that will continue to make her sick for another week :sad1:

I just talked to meeska. She is some serious pain. All of our pharmacies close at 6 on Sat. night...and she went all night without meds.

The doc said they took out what they could. They are running tests on the stones to see the cause...and she will probably have to go on meds.

She thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers. She says that is the reason she is doing so well.

Damian IS bringing Kaia all the way home today. Thank goodness for small favors. He's not doing it without a fight though. Blech.

She's acting like super-woman. She drove herself to the pharmacy to get her meds...and being up and around with no meds since yesterday was NOT a good idea.

Poor kid. She needs to lay down and rest!

Hello guys and gals. Hate to barge in, but I got a couple of pics.

First snow of the year for central Indiana.

001-1.jpg

It is a very wet snow. It won't be around long unless we get more. Our forecast is 30's with some flakes tomorrow.

This is what we had for dinner last night!

003-1.jpg

Crab-Asparagus casserole (my own creation)and Famous Dave's recipe for Cornbread w/jalepeno-honey glaze. It was delish, if you don't mind me sayin' so! I've never made cornbread like this before. It uses a cake mix with the corn meal. If anyone wants the recipe, let me know and I'll get it up here.

I have to work tonight so I will try to catch up on what's been happening. Everything is good here except I feel like a big fat cow! Too much good food!

:grouphug: to all!

What time are you scheduled to land in Orlando!
5.20pm EST. I'll be awake from around 2am EST (7am GMT) or earlier! Now you know why we never plan anything for the first evening other than a swim and bed :rotfl2:

Well... once it gets in the mouth... it kind of gets destroyed anyway ... and past the mouth is a complete mess...:rotfl2:
True :rotfl2: And nothing packed yet, I have started a pile in the spare bedroom though :thumbsup2

Kristel: I want the recipe! Please! :goodvibes We're getting your snow now. It's really wet and slippery! Yikes!

Jen: Poor Meeska. Please place her in a box with holes and send her to MI. I will take care of her. MIL will help. NO MORE DRIVING THE CAR, MEESKA!

****************

Home from the guitar lessons! Thank goodness! The roads are skeery! Gonna whip up a nanner bread and then clean my desk off. It's reached critical mass!

LY GUYS
Mel

I'm gonna tell one on my Hubby

I think all of you know that I got a new van a month ago tomorrow.
Well Scott has not driven it much.. and I needed to drop off the OLD VAN
and Scott said I'll drive over the new Van .. since it's gonna take you a few minutes to get everything taken care of.

I had no problem with that.. But Scott was LATE getting there to pick me up. I mean really late. I tried calling him.. but did not reach him.
When he FINALLY SHOWED UP.. I thought.. at least the van will be warm...
NOPE !!!!!

Scott could not find the Heater on the Van.. could not turn it on.. could not turn on the heated seats... :rotfl2: .

But to his defense.. he is not the only guy that could not find things on a car.

Here is a comedy monologue.. it's about 9 minutes long. And very dated... But it is funny. This guy was a lot like Scott. And I ... a lot like the lady in this story.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0s9144hn5I

Oh BTW... he also could not open the kids sliding doors, with the Key bob, or find Radio Disney on the XM stereo... he could not find the XM button.

But unlike the Car we rented in Florida.. at least Honda still uses REAL KEYS!!!:rotfl2: So he could start the van.:rolleyes1
