Jo,

I was hoping we could stay an extra day, but DH has to work next Friday. :sad1:

Good Morning All I am finally well rested after Thanxgiving and all the shopping yesterday !! I was in bed by 9:30and slept till 8 so I know I was exhausted ! Chat later !!

Don't I wish! Andy says no more babies. I need just one more! :rolleyes1

Quick! Get to Vegas! ;)

So true. My mom has been seeing doctors for the past year and a half to see if they can give her something for all these little pains she's having. They've prescribed medications left and right and then her brother told her of a pill that is helping my grandma and she asked the dr. for it and he asked "who told you about that pill?" :eek: :sad2: It's super expensive, but she got it and in the first day all her joint pain went away and I hadn't seen her so happy.

That's awesome! :goodvibes

From you lips... LOL.

Mitch decided we need to volunteer giving out food and then go out to dinner next year, which I'm fine with. My mother says, won't you miss the leftovers? :faint:

I'm beat too. We wrapped everything we bought this weekend and straightened the living room. When we get the kids tomorrow, we're going to decorate the tree and stuff. That's always fun. ;)

I have to have the tree up before I wrap so I have some place to put things.

Meeska is in the hospital. She has several kidney stones that they found this evening. They are having to put a stint in her kidney tomorrow in order to prevent her from losing her kidney.

:hug: Any news today, Jen?

I have been writing out Christmas cards for the past three hours, my hand is so cramped! :rotfl: I am 3/4 of the way done though, my hand should soon have some relief. :santa:

You guys are killing me. :rolleyes:

Mrs. T and I talked about DVC again last night. We're still on the fence. If we do jump, we're looking at BLT or SSR. They both have their positives and negatives. :confused3 We'll talk about it some more before we make a decision.

You're asking these DVC owners if you should do it? :rotfl2:

It's freezing here today, I have the heating on already :rotfl2:
We don't have the heat on in the whole house, just the sunroom where we spend most of our time. Although when my grandmother comes, we will.

Ugh. I'm annoyed about Christmas cards right now. I worked so hard on beautiful handmade ones, and when I went to mail Jo's to WDW, I found out they'll cost $1.17 each to mail! :eek: Maybe I'll just hand them out here and mail other not as cool cards to everyone else. Sorry, Fockers. :sad2:

I know I know. It's the middle of the night. But, I can't sleep. I know you're all sleeping though.

Meeska is in the hospital. She has several kidney stones that they found this evening. They are having to put a stint in her kidney tomorrow in order to prevent her from losing her kidney.

Kaia is with her dad right now. Daddy is not being very cooperative. He doesn't want to drive Kaia all the way back to Clovis to be with her mommy. (I'm thinking of a name to call him right now...you can imagine what that is)

Send her good thoughts...that she gets through surgury tomorrow...and that her life is not complicated further by any "outside" sources.

She's scared. And I'm scared for her. If you could share a spare thought I would appreciate it...and so would she.

Good night my Focker friends. :hug:
OMGoodness! How scary! I'll be sending prayers for the whole situation. :hug: :hug: :hug:

~~~~~~~~~
Jo- I sent your card yesterday, so I'm hoping it'll be at CSR when you check in. :goodvibes
We go get the kids in about an hour. :banana: We're going to decorate and clean up mostly today. It'll be so pretty when we've done. :lovestruc
Love and prayers for Meeska! Kaia's daddy is a bonehead. :sad2:
I am so out of it, can I please add my stuff to the card list? Do you guys mind that I'm so late? I think S'late said it was on page 108..... I'll go look.
I don't have any cards to write yet, but I will get some today. I'm taking Gus to drums at 11 am. Then we'll swing back by home, pick up the Gma and SD and head out to Target. I usually find cards I like there! Then a quick trip to the library and home for dinner.
Gus has a friend coming over tonight.
Bob emailed and said that the Japanese guy took him out for drinks last night and LEFT him in the train station to find his way back to the hotel! OMG. Thank goodness that Bob doesn't stress out as easily as me. I'd have stood there crying! He did find his way back though, so it's all good!
He's off to Korea on Sunday (that's Monday for him) and I had to tell him TE's story about her DH eating silkworms. EWwwwwwww. :scared:
Gotta do my ADR's soon for the January trip. Thinking about Flying Fish for dinner. I don't know....
Hope you guys have a great day!
MEL:banana:
You haven't done ADRS for JANUARY?! :scared1: :sad2: Get busy, girl!!!
I'm flipping out b/c I can't make mine for April until the end of December. :headache:
I'm baaaa-aaaack!!!
Welcome back V! Hope you feel better.
I am buying things left and right online...someone stop me! I bought the first 3 seasons of Weeds and Supernatural for $8.99-$14.99 each! I couldn't pass it up!
::yes:: those were good deals. I asked for those, let's see if people actually buy them. :rolleyes:
OK ladies I am home and I am exhausted.
OMG Janet, I'm exhausted for you. :faint:
Ok, had a GREAT night! Watched Spanglish with a girlfriend (and the MIL) and had margaritas and a bunch of snacks. It was great! Such a good movie!
::yes:: it wasn't what I expected it to be at all. I really liked that movie too.
Meeska is in the hospital. She has several kidney stones that they found this evening.
::::::vibing::::: a successful safe surgery for Meeska.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Got back from work. I'm tired and don't feel like working at all this weekend. Ugh. Nothing new going on.

I'm still waiting for my brother to get approval for the day off to go to the World. Hopefully the room will still be available to book next week.

Alright I'm off to bed.

Good morning.

A small-ish update on meeska. The surgeon hasn't been in yet. Her right kidney is severely enlarged and surrounded by fluid. (there's a name for it...but I don't know what it is.) They told her surgury immediately or her kidney will no longer be viable.

She slept like doodie last night. I'm going to see her and take her the 3rd twilight book. :teeth: At least give her something to look forward to.

:hug: to all.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Oh no, Jen! :hug: :hug: :hug: :hug: This makes me so sad...too much to deal with...way too much. Sending love to Clovis :goodvibes

:scared: Who in their right mind bought him an electric guitar? :faint::lmao: My brother bought Evan a mini full drum set for his 1st birthday. :scared1:
We got him his first one...he got his second for free on Craigslist :thumbsup2 He's good, he just doesn't play what I like to listen to...Lauralee would love it.

Kate you look great! Just remember, she's had personal trainers, cooks, make-up and hair people to look good and you've done it on your own. ;) Plus if you see close-up pictures of her she's starting to age in the face and it doesn't look good. :scared:
Aw, thanks, Z.:hug:

I'm baaaa-aaaack!!!

Welcome back!

Morning :goodvibes

It's chucking down here today...and will tomorrow as well. Not much going on. I'm hoping to get the trees and decorations up either today or tomorrow, but DH has a paper to write and there is some football game on at 3:30......go gators!

I hope everyone has a great Saturday!

Hello all!

Jen- tell meeska I'm thinking about her.

I tried catching up, but my sister's computer is super slow and it seems I've missed a lot.

V - sounds like you had a fun trip. Glad you were not in bed, sick.

We are having a great Thanksgiving weekend. We went to my sister's in Columbia, SC Thursday night. Got up at 3:30 to do our Black Friday shopping. We got everything we wanted and some stuff we hadn't planned on getting. Then we went to my other sister's house - she lives in Florence. My aunt and uncle from Tx were there and she made tacos, enchiladas, and margaritas for everyone. Mr Diz was excited to see that my aunt was making homemade taco shells. I said, "Who does that?" He won't get anything like that from me.

This morning, when we got up, my sister gave me a facial. She is taking classes to be an aesthetician.

On a sad note: my brother lost his job a week ago due to reorg and a couple days ago he shot a nail through his thumb with a nail gun. OUCH!

Got to go make Mac n cheese for our pig pickin'

Just talked to meeska. She has over 100 stones in her right kidney alone. :sad2: The surgeon is on his way.

Jen - Give Meeska a :hug: from me! And I will definitely be praying for her!

Sounds like Dawn & Janet got a lot of shopping done. :thumbsup2 I've done most of mine online this year. It may cost a bit more, but I got free shipping most of the time and it saves me the aggravation of traffic, parking, and trying to find what I want!

My MIL's 70th birthday is today and we're surprising her with a lunch out at Maggiano's. Eric's brother and SIL are meeting us there with their four boys. She'll be very surprised that they came down. And we bought her a really nice watch with an inscription on the back. I also picked up flowers and a balloon for the table. Should be a nice afternoon, but I know that I'll stuff myself too full of all that good Italian food!:rolleyes1

Jo,

I was hoping we could stay an extra day, but DH has to work next Friday. :sad1:
Never mind, we'll meet again for sure :hug:

Sounded like you needed it Rosie!

We don't have the heat on in the whole house, just the sunroom where we spend most of our time. Although when my grandmother comes, we will.
You'd need it on if you lived here :rotfl2:

Jo- I sent your card yesterday, so I'm hoping it'll be at CSR when you check in. :goodvibes
Thanks Dawn, you're too sweet :hug:

Oh no and OMG sounds painful!

Poor thing, hope all goes well :hug:

That sounds lovely! She'll love it. :goodvibes

You'd need it on if you lived here :rotfl2:

We have the same power company as V that raised their prices 25%. :scared:

I've started getting the Christmas decorations together. Mitch brought them all over from storage and now they're in the garage. After he makes sure all the lights on the tree are working, I'm on ornament detail, except at the top. ;)

Good monring everyone (or should I say afternoon). My wonderful DH let me sleep until 11:30! I haven't slept until 11:30 since my drunken college days :faint:

HE is doing the last lawnmower run of the season and then we are going to put up the outside decorations. Depending on what time that gets done we may put up the tree too.

Yes, please! You should see everyone around here in their snowgear - you guys would crack up! :lmao:

:sad2:

You know, neither did I. I actually saw people helping each other. Some lady offered me her shopping cart as she was leaving Target and I was pulling in. I ended up giving up my copy of a DVD I'd decided against buying to some people that were looking for it. The stores were very organized too and so was the parking. Although I don't think I'd ever brave Wally World on Black Friday.

Wally WOrld was the only lowpoint yesterday for me!

All they would need to do is offer a free croc pot as an incentive and she's in!

:thumbsup2

just checking in!! i had to work last night. slow night in the er!

i went to elder-beerman for a couple things this am then went home and to bed! we had dinner today. and , we're going shopping tomorrow. i ordered a wii online so i didn't have to fight for it in the store!

Hi Rachel :wave2:

I'm baaaa-aaaack!!! And running off again. I'm so tired I can't see straight, but had to login to check on school stuff. Bleeh.

Welcome Back V:goodvibes

I'm beat too. We wrapped everything we bought this weekend and straightened the living room. When we get the kids tomorrow, we're going to decorate the tree and stuff. That's always fun.

WRAPPED!:eek: That won't get done for a while here. Last year I was still wrapping some things on Christmas Eve:sad2:

I know I know. It's the middle of the night. But, I can't sleep. I know you're all sleeping though.

Tera is in my thoughts Jen.!

The girls have to clean their rooms today ready for the Grandparents staying in Jessica's room on Thursday. Ellie then has a swimming party this evening and the rest of us are at the Choir Christmas party. I have to run around picking Ellie up whilst at the party though!

Have fun at the party Jo!

Love and prayers for Meeska! Kaia's daddy is a bonehead. :sad2:

THat wasn't the word I was thinking of, but apt;)

Hope you guys have a great day!

You too Mel:goodvibes
