Just talked to meeska. She has over 100 stones in her right kidney alone. The surgeon is on his way.

My MIL's 70th birthday is today and we're surprising her with a lunch out at Maggiano's. Eric's brother and SIL are meeting us there with their four boys. She'll be very surprised that they came down. And we bought her a really nice watch with an inscription on the back. I also picked up flowers and a balloon for the table. Should be a nice afternoon, but I know that I'll stuff myself too full of all that good Italian food!

I know I know. It's the middle of the night. But, I can't sleep. I know you're all sleeping though.

Meeska is in the hospital. She has several kidney stones that they found this evening. They are having to put a stint in her kidney tomorrow in order to prevent her from losing her kidney.

Kaia is with her dad right now. Daddy is not being very cooperative. He doesn't want to drive Kaia all the way back to Clovis to be with her mommy. (I'm thinking of a name to call him right now...you can imagine what that is)

Send her good thoughts...that she gets through surgury tomorrow...and that her life is not complicated further by any "outside" sources.

She's scared. And I'm scared for her. If you could share a spare thought I would appreciate it...and so would she.

I have been writing out Christmas cards for the past three hours, my hand is so cramped! I am 3/4 of the way done though, my hand should soon have some relief.

Mrs. T and I talked about DVC again last night. We're still on the fence. If we do jump, we're looking at BLT or SSR. They both have their positives and negatives. We'll talk about it some more before we make a decision.

My aunt and uncle from Tx were there and she made tacos, enchiladas, and margaritas for everyone. Mr Diz was excited to see that my aunt was making homemade taco shells. I said, "Who does that?" He won't get anything like that from me.

OMG! Please don't tell me you buy boxed taco shells??!!! Sick.

My kids are completely clueless. All their gifts are in the garage in bags right next to their bike rack. Thankfully they're not nosey!

Today was pretty good. I brought Gus down for his drum lesson. We ran into preschool friends while we were there, so that was FUN! They've grown so much! Then Gus and I went to get latte's. Yum. We made a trip to the library and then home to get Gma and SD.

We grabbed them and went to Target. JoAnn's Fabrics is right next door. Gma wanted to make a trip over there, so we dropped her at the door and then we parked the car WAY WAY WAY far away. Man, there were TONS of people at the stores today! Economic slow-down WHERE???!!! I bought my Xmas cards though, so I'm happy! Now, I just have to actually EMAIL S'late and let her know my addy.

We dropped the boys off at home so they could practice their instruments and relax and Gma and I went off for a bite at the corner mkt/coffee shop. Then home to make chicken soup and now Gus has a friend over.

I said the exact same thing! I got a few emails about resturnats in NYC that had decent prices for awesome food, I swear next year it's that or we are going to my grandma's in Florida for real food!

So Turkey day 2 is tomorrow, KC is out for a while and we are relaxing tonight. Then tomorrow I'm cookin! today I went and did a little shopping, didnt end up with much. I really just have to buy for my cousins whom I decided we are getting XBOX 360 points for (grandparents are getting the xbox for them) and one aunt. Otherwise I am just waiting for the gifts to come in the mail! I am very happy to be done so early! This week I'll do the Xmas cards and then I can actually enjoy the holiday!
