Kat - What didn't Pants like about the Twilight movie?

He's a snotty film student so he picked it apart and didnt really just enjoy it for content. He even read the first 3 books. i dunno. We agreed to disagree.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Today was looooooong. Pants stayed over and we were all up until about 4am chatting. Then we got up late and ordered diner breakfast while KC worked. Then after Pants left I started cleaning out the closets (they were getting BAD). KC cleaned out my kitchen cabinets (the ones I can't really reach) and went to the grocery store for me for my turkey day stuff. I swept and organized our storage closet.

needless to say I'm pooped! I am doing a bit of catching up here and then I am crashing out!

Tomorrow, If i get good sleep that is, I am heading into the city for some shopping and to see Twilight again (obsessed much?!:rolleyes1 ). I am determined to have my christmas shopping done early!

Mr. T...you, Mrs. T, and the kidlets are cute cute cute!!!!!

I'm the first one posting today?! :yay: I'm up early because I'm watching a friend's daughter while she goes to an appointment today. It's supposed to be a long one, so she's going to let her play with my kids instead of making her sit through it.

So, we're going to do some crafts and watch movies today. I don't have school planned except to read a few chapters of a book to the kids. :woohoo:

Yesterday I cleaned the kitchen (not only cleaned, but organized the pantry and everything ), cleaned the powder room, murphy oiled the hardwood floor and had the furniture delivered :woohoo: <---------------for the furniture delivery not the cleaning Jo;) .
Fantastic, can't wait to see the photos :goodvibes

Today it was my Doogles chopping a rutabaga on a glass cutting board. Clank, Clank, Clank. Let's just say I was not happy and he found that out.
Oh no, BTW what is a rutabaga? :rotfl2: Scary photo BTW  :rotfl2:

From our January 2006 farewell breakfast. :stitch:

Very cute :goodvibes

Well it has been an interesting evening Kyle was in the ER!!! :scared1: He says he swalled a popcan Tab !! We called our neighbor the nurse who said with it possibly being sharp it would be best to have it checked out .Well 4 Xrays later they couldn't see anything so they think he didn't swallow it but he insists he did !!He's home and is fine but the Tab is definately MIA!!:worship:
Yikes :scared1: Hope you find it in the house somewhere!

to see Twilight again (obsessed much?!:rolleyes1 ).
Again :faint:

So, we're going to do some crafts and watch movies today. I don't have school planned except to read a few chapters of a book to the kids. :woohoo:
Sounds nice :goodvibes

I've been looking for those darn shoes again and again didn't find anything  I'm just going to have to go barefoot :rotfl2:

Kristel, hope you get a nap today! :) And I didn't win the Hoosier lottery either. We listened to the Colts game, I can't take endings like that, on the radio and there were plenty of advertisements for the lottery.

Mr.T, love the family photos! :goodvibes

Rosie, I'm glad Kyle is ok, but that's strange the xrays didn't show anything. :confused3

Have a good day, Kat. Although I guess since you're seeing a movie you know you like, you will! :cool1: As soon as I put up my Thanksgiving decorations, I'm getting out Christmas so I can see what gifts I already have. I think I'm mostly finished. :)

So, we're going to do some crafts and watch movies today. I don't have school planned except to read a few chapters of a book to the kids. :woohoo:

This sounds like my kind of day! :goodvibes

QVC is having their 22 anniversary today so I'm registering to win one of everything they have on air today. Just think about the Secret Santa gifts you'll get if I win! :goodvibes

Forgot to tell you about Ellie yesterday, she was doing some Maths homework and it was something like Mrs Jones has a 25 minute walk to get to the station, if she wants to catch the 4.50 train what time should she leave home? (It was harder than that but I made it easy :rotfl2:) So Ellie wrote 4.20, we told her that was wrong it should be 4.25 well she said that Mrs Jones needed time to buy the tickets, OMG we curled up :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Bob wrote and said that today (well, it was nighttime when he sent it from Japan) he went to a bunch of Temples, saw the biggest Budha in Japan, went to an island in the Pacific, climbed a 2000ft mountain and walked through a jungle pass, rode at least 7 trains and on one was so crammed in he couldn't raise his arms! He had a great day!!! He starts work in the morning, which is in about 8 hrs for him. He said he met some Thai people that wanted to know if he liked Obama or McCain.... So, all in all, Bob is surviving! Good since he really didn't want to go on this trip!
WoW! He's done a ton of stuff! Glad he is doing okay.
Glad you had a little bit of time where you felt decent.

Morning all. Wish I could say I'm feeling better.... but I'm not. :sad2: Now I'm running a fever. I'm doing the unthinkable: making detailed touring plans for my mother in case SHE has to take Leo to the parks while I rest in the hotel! :scared:
Poor thing! Did you go to the doctor? Wonder if you have strep - it's going around.
I went and saw Twilight with Meeska last night and really enjoyed it.
Hey Jen! Sounds like a nice girls nite out.
I'm also contemplating whether DVC may make sense for us. We got an e-mail offer that if we buy in before Jan. 15, we get a "free" vacation (5-nights) and $1,000 gift card. With this promotion, we could still have our June trip, assuming we could find an opening at a DVC resort for that time period, and we could apply the money budgeted and being saved for that trip towards the DVC purchase. Mrs. T and I need to discuss this a bit more. :confused3 Thoughts, positive or negative, from those of you with more DVC knowledge?
Don't forget to check out resales. The DVC boards has a thread that people post what they paid for a resale per point. I think people were saying that DVC has not been buying back the SSR points and you can get a good deal on SSR resales.
We love DVC and would like to add some more points.
We used our points to stay at Vero Beach last Spring and loved it. We also want to try Hilton Head.

I've started a blog about my Moms Panel stuff if anyones interested click here and please comment!
I bookmarked this as a favorite and will check it out later.

haven't taken pictures of the room yet becasue all the pictures and things still need to be put up, but as soon as they are up I will take them and post them.
Can't wait to see the photos! I bet it looks great!
Good Evening all!

You know how you are in a real good sleep and you are dreaming and in the dream you hear a noise? And it gets louder and louder until you wake up a figure out that the noise is real.

I'm totally sympathizing with you on this. I hate it when I'm having a really nice and happy dream and something like this wakes me up.

I'm pooped. We had an early Turkey day and I am trying to get my holiday decorations up. My head is a spinning!
An early turkey day? That's pretty early! Was it good?

Well it has been an interesting evening Kyle was in the ER!!! :scared1: He says he swalled a popcan Tab
Ouch! I really hope it is not there, otherwise I see some pain in his future.
Tomorrow, If i get good sleep that is, I am heading into the city for some shopping and to see Twilight again (obsessed much
I bought the book a couple months ago and haven't opened it yet. I know most people love this series, but have read some negative reviews, too. I'll have to read it and decide for myself.

So, we're going to do some crafts and watch movies today. I don't have school planned except to read a few chapters of a book to the kids. :woohoo:

That sounds like a nice day!

I've did a little work this morning and taking a break.

I don't know why I do this to myself, but for some reason I decide to try to do projects right before I go out of town. DD's jeans from last year all fit her in the waist, but the length is too short. She has 3 pair of jeans that actually fit her. I have another 3 pairs out that I am trying to add length to. I finished 1 pair and really like them. I added brown fabric to the bottom and put a teal and brown ribbon on the top and bottom of the added fabric. Last night I started a second pair. DD asked for pirate jeans and I let her pick the fabric. It is ugly and not girly at all, but I knew if I picked it out, she wouldn't wear it. Anyway, I am trying to girl it up by adding a red ribbon to the fabric. At least it is only on the bottom of the jeans.

Maybe my black friday shopping needs to be for some adjustable waist jeans for that girl.

Hello, all!

No way I'm catching up, so if something major is going on, someone let me know? :flower3:

Well...

I had a nice visit with my aunt, so my angst was for naught. She only insulted me a few times... :rotfl: Ah, well.

She came in last Saturday and left Thursday morning. I was kind of looking forward to D being gone until Saturday afternoon, but one of his passengers had a family emergency :guilty: and had to come back, so my aunt left at 9:00 and D was home by 2:00. So much for catch-up time there. ;)

Friday was pretty typical, then Saturday we had dinner with the friends who live in FL (the ones that we talked about moving to work with last winter) who are now thinking they are probably moving back up here. The hedge fund he was flying for isn't doing spectacularly well, but mostly it's because the guy wants to live mostly in Switzerland, and, well, our friends don't. ;)

Anyway, they were up for a second interview/house search, so I cleaned all morning because we were going to have them over - but then they wanted to eat at an old favorite restaurant of theirs, so we ended up going out.

Yesterday, we had our twins playgroup here - we're down to once a month with the kids all in school, so...

D is gone today, but will be back tonight.

We are still trying to figure out what to do for Thanksgiving. D is not on call, which means that he doesn't have to stay within 3 hours of the airport, but it's still possible that today or tomorrow they will let him know that he has a trip either Wed. getting back late, or leaving Sat. or Sun. or something. But, if that doesn't happen, we're planning to head to Maryland to my cousin's.

But now I'm in the mode where I don't know if I should hold the mail and paper, pack, etc. Sigh.

*************************************
I just read this page, so Jo, I've bookmarked your blog.
Rosie, sorry about Kyle's incident! Hope that it really didn't happen.
Mr. & Mrs. T, you're cute!
Kat, glad you liked the movie. We went to see Madagascar 2 yesterday after playgroup, but the long line in the theatre was for Twilight. ;)
V, sorry you're feeling yucky still.
Mel, glad you're a bit better!
Janet, can't wait to see the pictures.
Angela, have fun winning stuff on QVC. ;)
Dawn, have fun with the extra kiddo.

If I forgot anyone from this page, sorry. :)

I've missed you all, and the sad thing is that, if our plans work out, I'm gone most of this week, too! Horrible.

I have to go to the grocery store sometime today, but I have plenty of time. I'm going to try to catch up with a few TR's, but I'll pop back in here, too. :grouphug:

You're so creative! My mom always had to hem my jeans.

Hello, all!

Glad you're back! :cool1:

I had a nice visit with my aunt, so my angst was for naught. She only insulted me a few times... :rotfl: Ah, well.
What family visit would be complete without insults? :rolleyes1

That would be me. DD8 turns 9 on Wednesday. She's on the left in both pictures. She just turned 7 in the first, and she was 3.5 in the earlier one.

Wooohooo :yay:

Did I forget to tell you that you are my FAVORITE :lovestruc
Suck up :rotfl2:

Dave and I were just off for a walk before picking Ellie up from school and it started raining so he beat me at Wii bowling instead :rotfl2:

:rotfl: Oh, dear. :) Can I tell you how hard it is to have our Wii in my closet and not get it out and use it? I could be playing tennis as I type! :lmao:

*****************************************
I think I'm heading off to the grocery store. I want to curl up on the couch, but if I do, I'll never want to leave. ;)

I'll be back!

Quick post!

Gotta shower to go see Dr. Seigle. Gus is home again! He's still soooo stuffy and plugged up. I called the ped. this am and he called in a new round of antibiotics so hopefully he'll get better soon.

SD is at school. MIL cleaned both bathrooms for me this morning. That's such a bonus I may never let her leave! We are having rain today so it's pretty gloomy out.

Had another email from Bob. He's doing great. Managed a train from the Yokohama station all by himself, NO english signs, had some sort of food on a stick and a hamburger with fried oysters on it...(weird!!!). He's sleeping now but in the "morning" he'll go off to work. He's doing well. I posted some pics over on FB...

It's SNOWING outside like mad! I'm supposed to leave to go to the Drs in 20 mins but now I'm worried! Great. I hate snow.

Hope you guys are all well. I had a bad night/early am again but I'm hoping that the antibiotic I've been on is mostly to blame as my tummy has hurt everytime I've woken up. Then I can't go back to sleep. The Xanax doesn't seem to change how I feel really so I'm not sure it's totally panic.

Anyway, I'll let you know how the eye thing goes. Love and Hugs to everyone who needs them.

MEL

I am soooo glad your MIL is pitching in and taking care of you. You deserve it.
Both my kiddo's have a sinus infection.. on antibiotics.. what is with this wacky season.. colds that never leave, leading to sicker kids...

Oh and this weather... why are the temps like January here ??
Are you having January weather too Mel.
If it's gonna be cold.. so I can't decorate the outside of my house for Christmas.. It might as well snow !!!!

Have a HUG Mel

How do you do that?:confused3 It takes me forever to find what I want. I know you're house looks awesome!

We just lucked out! That plus the fact that Jim just usually goes along with what I want;)

I will send out the lists Thursday morning.

:thumbsup2

You know how you are in a real good sleep and you are dreaming and in the dream you hear a noise? And it gets louder and louder until you wake up a figure out that the noise is real. Today it was my Doogles chopping a rutabaga on a glass cutting board. Clank, Clank, Clank. Let's just say I was not happy and he found that out. Why, oh why can't he shut the bedroom door when he is going to do something like that? I've worked 12hr nights for 8 years with one 6 month exception. He knows my sleep patterns. Sheez!
Plus I woke up with a huge headache. Still have it a little.
Sorry Fockers I did not hit the Hoosier lottery either.
The pep has pooped in me today!

Hope you got some more sleep:hug:

Found this on photobucket. The bad thing about Florida...

Well it has been an interesting evening Kyle was in the ER!!! :scared1: He says he swalled a popcan Tab !! Maybe my black friday shopping needs to be for some adjustable waist jeans for that girl.

This is what I get for Jimmy becasue he always outgrows the length before he outgrows the waist:headache: Target has them!:thumbsup2

====================================================

Good morning all. Back to work here. THe living room and dining room are almost done. We have the pictures all picked out that we want to put in the new frames. I will print them tonight and put them in the frames and then tomorrow Jim will hang the frames.

Jim is going to the Flyers game tonight so I will probably be hanging out until he gets home.

Jimmy took his science project in for the Science Fair today and he was so proud of himself.:goodvibes I took a picture of him with it, so I will post that tonight too.

DId V check in before she left for the World?

Have a great day everyone!

We have been having wind chills in the single digits - you're right, it's January weather. Today it's actually ambient temp above freezing (for the first time since last Wed.) and no wind. Woohoo.

But I keep saying, "At least it's not snowing." ;)
