Jo -
Everybody over here basically gets their family together and eat until they are sick. There's football and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.
Holy Frijoles!

Rachel - Hi!!!
Mr. Tigger - Are you gonna share some of those photos from the past?
Dawn - I would have told that guy that I didn't appreciate the comments. My aunt wanted to know why I didn't come to family gatherings at her house anymore. I told her that I had a lot of friends with various backgrounds and I did not appreciate their racial and homohobic comments. She was a bit upset at first but she got over it. I still don't go to her house on the holidays. It is not appropiate behavior anywhere.
Janet - I hope everthing goes OK with the auditors.
Mel - I know what you're saying. There's not a lot more than corn in Indiana. Especially in the winter. Movies and eating.
Hedy - Yay, pictures!
Kat - Cool, I'll get over and read your TR in a few!

A former supervisor's mother passed away this week. I have to go to the viewing tomorrow, alone. I didn't know her. He was nice enough to come to my father's viewing earlier this year, so I feel obligated.
I've got to be in town at 6 AM for a meeting at work on Thurs.
I have to get my grocery list figured out for this week. Doug usually does the shopping but I'm going to be in town anyway so I thought I would do it. I need to go ahead and get stuff for the Thanksgiving meal.
Then I'm having lunch with a friend I haven't seen for a while. Like all you moms, uh, and dads she is always busy, busy! She's a cancer survivor. We've talked on the phone but I just really wanted to see her.
I may not get back here for a couple of days.
- thanksgiving-day.orgThanksgiving Day is a joyous family festival celebrated with lot of enthusiasm in US, Canada and several other countries. Thanksgiving Day Festival commemorates the feast held by the Pilgrim colonists and members of the Wampanoag people at Plymouth in 1621. On this day people express gratitude to God for his blessings and give thanks to dear ones for their love & support. Feasting with family is an integral & most delightful part of Thanksgiving Day celebrations.

Mom made beans for dinner, you know I ate 'em all.
She said get your coat on, we're goin to the mall.
We're gonna visit Santa, and sit upon his knee,
But all I could think about was how not to cut the cheese.

Morning Fockers!
So, it's cold down here. Which wouldn't be bad, except, catch this: the idiots in the FL legislature approved our electric company's request to increase rates 25%!!!My normal winter bill hovers around $300, so this is gonna be BAD. I explained to my mother, in light of this news, that we will not be setting the heat at her preferred temp of 71 this winter. She rebelled and said "just turn the hot water heater off during the day!" Oh yes, that'll be much more helpful than lowering the heat temp.
And oh so pleasant when I forget to turn it back on and have to give Leo a cold shower. The woman drives my nuts. I told her I'll buy her a sweater for Xmas.

Hello all1 I'm back from NYC in one piece! Shrek was good, but I think I'd wait for the national tour to take kids, there was a lot of belching and farting, which you expect from Shrek. However, there was also an entire verse of a song using terms of blow (in the colloquial adjective context), but something I'd take into account if I were taking the boys (9 and 12).
