Jo - congrats and did I see you are going in a few weeks?
Yep, the training starts on December 5th, I should find out in the next day or two my flight details :thumbsup2

Yesterday I went to a Holiday Boutique in a Castle here in NJ with Murph, the historical society does it as a fundraiser each year. I got some Christmas gifts and got myself some yummy chocolate covered pretzels. It's so neat to go in the Castle and go shopping like that.
Sounds lovely :goodvibes

Nah...we'll probably be too tired. OH well. Today is BOOKING day!!!!!
Woooohooooo popcorn:: And poor Jon, hope he gets better

Just had a lovely roast, I now do my leg of lamb in the crock pot and it's delicious :cloud9:

I know some of you have used a GAC before. Do you just take a doctor's note to guest services?

Jen, I hope Jon feels better soon!

No. You don't need any documentation whatsoever.

When you go in to Guest Services, ask for a GAC. They will ask you what your needs are...Jon's are similar to your kiddlet's needs. I always tell them Jon has difficulty with crowds and crowd noises, that he has muscular needs which causes him to fatigue quickly, and that he has orthopedic needs which cause pain when walking and standing for long periods of time.

They hand it right over.

It's an honor system right now.

I hope people don't abuse the system and change that. Did you see the thread where a CM was selling one as a FP for all rides on ebay??? Disgusting.

Here you go, here she is tying a cherry stalk with her tongue :rotfl:

Tracyswdwpics107.jpg

What the heck is going on around here? Why is there a giant me plastered on this page?

So, is it worth the price? What about with sleepy kids? It sounds so cool, but I'm thinking it will be such a long night that they kids would be farts the whole next day. :confused3
Yikes! Not to mention $200 for us! Never mind... :faint:

Save your money Dawn.. You do not want to keep the kids up as late as it runs.. and you pay a lot of $$$$ for a couple of hours..

I am not a Fan of those "Parties".. luckily.. it appears we will mis it this year.
It does not seem right to CLOSE DOWN Disney. AND CLOSE IT SO EARLY..:headache: except for those who pay to have to have their Private Party. DVC and Annual Pass-holders should not be kicked out.Or at least give them ONE Free Party Pass Per Year. It happened to us last year.. the best night for us to stay in the parks late.. and we had to leave..
smilierippedhand.gif
. at least it rained on them
:cool2:

Mitch loves lamb. I should tell him. :thumbsup2

He wants to know if you use the whole bone in shank or whole leg. :confused3

We lolved the P & P Party. Low crowds, no waits for anything, and awesoem fireworks and parade.

We planned our day around the party. Just chilled out during the day, headed to MK aroun 4:00 (you can get in 3 hours ahead of party time with your tickets) and had an early dinner. By the time we were done dinner the place was cleared out for party goers. Walked right onto every ride in FL in less than 1 hour. We thought we'd last until 10 or so...nope Jimmy lasted until midnight and was so ready to keep going:thumbsup2 We also planned a late morning the next day, so it worked well for us!

Football baby! :woohoo:

Me too, Angela! Who you watching today? I'm hoping that the Bears give the Titans their first loss. Then, of course, gotta hope my boys can beat the Steelers. :thumbsup2

Jen - I know how you feel. I've got a sick one today as well. DD4 gets a croupy cough whenever she catches anything, so I don't like to take her out. People look at her with a horrified look if she starts coughing (even though she's not that sick). So, I stayed home from church with her. DH and DD7 went to church and now I'm getting ready to head out to the dollar store with DD7. The tooth fairy visited last night and she wants to spend the money already!

I buy half a leg as a whole one is just too much and we don't eat cold lamb or use it in other dishes, I just chuck it in the crock with a little water and cook all day :thumbsup2

Awwww how cute :goodvibes

Did you see the thread where a CM was selling one as a FP for all rides on ebay??? Disgusting.
:sad2: Pitiful.

Me too, Angela! Who you watching today? I'm hoping that the Bears give the Titans their first loss. Then, of course, gotta hope my boys can beat the Steelers. :thumbsup2

I do too but I'm not holding my breath. When we lived in Memphis the Titans moved from Houston. Memphis was good enough for them to play in whilst the new stadium was being built in Nashville, but not good enough to stay. Therefore, we hate them. :rolleyes1

Hope your DD feels better.

Uh, huh. Will you be sneezing, or trampolining? :rotfl: Seriously, have fun. :goodvibes
:lmao: :lmao:

Yani brought her laptop to work and it works in her department so I used it to catch up. :)

Thank goodness you guys weren't too chatty after I posted.

i love working around the rules at work!!! :thumbsup2 :lmao:

I do not think My Quiz Result will suprise anyone.....

100% Dixie. Is General Lee your grandfather?!

:lmao:
:lmao:
Just been to a Remembrance service and a guy who was in the Falklands spoke, he was on a boat which was blown up and he burnt his face and hands (still very visible), he lost 35 friends and broke down crying, it's amazing that 26 years later it's still so raw. Really made me think and had a few tears too!

:

Thanks! It really has been a very rough several months for our family.

.
======================================================

Good morning all. Off to the supermarket but just wanted to drop in for a quick hi! Not much planned. Supermarket and laundry. Jim and Jimmy are running to Lowes, we ran out of primer last night with only the hallwa left to prime:headache: Then he will put the paint on. Looks like we will be able to go furniture shopping on Tuesday:woohoo:

Check in with you all later

yay, new furniture!!

I think I'm headed to the grocery store soon. I don't want to go, but if I send Kirt with my money for the week, he'll spend it all. I'm trying to cut corners and stash away money for the trip. The deal is I get $x each week. Anything I don't spend, I can save for the trip. I usually get $50 for gas (from when it was so high), but last week ididn't drive except to the docotr, so I have 3/4 a tank.
$50 toward the trip already!
you should start a savings ticker!!!!

What the heck is going on around here? Why is there a giant me plastered on this page?

i think she's going to add things to your picture since you were a bad girl on the boards the other night. just for the record, i was not involved! :rolleyes1

:Well, I had an "interesting" nite---remember 5 teens and BA slept over last nite..............they were up ALL nite and I tried repeatedly to get them to quieten down..........at 4 am, they finally rushed into our room and said:
Wake up! The house has been egged!!"
Yep---sure enough, many windows were covered in egg shells and someone had actually opened Ab's window, took a make up case, deposited eggs in her floor, and put the makeup case on top of one of the girls' car. :confused3
Nothing was really taken tho.....animals were fine........and whoever did it had to park their car.......walk 1/4 mile straight up the driveway.
We figure the girls will find out who did it at school---someone obviously knew these girls were having a slumber party.
Oh well,,,,,,,,,,Bear just came in with egg shells on his nose! :lmao:

OMG!!! :headache: i hope you find out who it was!! at least you can laugh about it!! :lmao:

JO - what kind of training do you need? Can you tell I know nothing about the Mom's panel, and are you on it only for a year?

Just been for a walk and saw the most gorgeous double rainbow, it really was perfect, only thing was that to get a rainbow you need rain and we got caught in it :headache: :rotfl2:

rainbow sounds lovely!! :goodvibes

:lmao: We say POP.......what's the right way??

pop is the right way!!! ;)
Living Room. Couch (Sofa), Loveseat, tables, lamps, and a new Flat Screen TV, which of course will nedd a new entertainment Center to be put in! I have been shopping around so I know what I want. It's just getting to the store, ordering it, and having delivered. It must all be done by The weekend before Thanksgiving. That's MY rule....!

you're going to post pics when you're all done , right?? :thumbsup2
Soft drink.....'cause if you don't specify, it will have somthing hard mixed in. :rotfl2:
:scared1:
When I went to college (in Western PA) I went out with some friends to the local Dairy Queen type place. I asked for a large soda, they asked me what kind, I answered Diet Coke. They brought me diet coke with vanilla ice cream in it:scared: :rotfl2:
what?? :confused3
Whew! That grocery shopping wore me out! :faint: I may need to nap again soon!

On good note, I spent $40 less than normal.

So, I have $90 to put away this week. I may wait to put more away, because you never know what may come up this week. I know I'm going to owe both A and B shakes this week since they are having work done in their mouths. I totally dread this week. :sad2:
The Biergarten meet is up on our TR, can you tell I want it finished before I go in 3.5 weeks :rotfl2: I know you'll all want me to write about my training so want to get this TR done and dusted :rotfl2:
heading over there in a few!!

Happy Sunday Fockers!

hi mo!

Well, Jon's a sickie. He has bruises under his eyes...it's definitely a sinus infection.

I'm trying to hold off until tomorrow and take him to his ped. I HATE the walk-in clinics here. Jon has so many needs that it's hard to go there and get what we need.

He's asleep again...and he just woke up 1 1/2 hours ago. He slept from 9 last night to 9:30 this morning and just fell asleep again.

Poor baby.

hope jon feels better!!
I know some of you have used a GAC before. Do you just take a doctor's note to guest services?

i'll pm you!

OMG!!! :headache: i hope you find out who it was!! at least you can laugh about it!! :lmao:
Oh--it's a really small town so someone will talk about it! Daran says whoever did it will be over putting fence posts in next week!

How do you pronounce "aren't"?
r nt

And aunt=ant to me although lots here say "ain't"

99% Dixie. Is General Lee your grandfather?!
:lmao: Not surprising! Did you go back to see how to get that other 1%?? :lmao:

pop is the right way!!! ;)
I knew it! :snooty:

Lots of folks here say "gimme a coke" tho---I don't drink "carbonated beverages" and I get strange looks from ordering unsweet tea but I am a diabetes educator! :lmao:

Must have been that dang innernets.
Yeah--it's contribitin' to the cultural diversity of our youngin's too!

Dad always used to make Ice-cream Sodas (sprite and ice-cream) as a treat when I was little :goodvibes

OMG JO! THAT SOUNDS SO AWESOME! I'm so excited for you (and a little envious....ok a lot!) but I'm just excited to know you! Everyone---go read the article!!!

For the next four days, we would go to many of the parks, but never go through a single turnstile.
