I buy half a leg as a whole one is just too much and we don't eat cold lamb or use it in other dishes, I just chuck it in the crock with a little water and cook all day :thumbsup2

Now he wants to try it! I wonder who will eat with him? :confused3 Maybe you all can come for dinner. :thumbsup2

Mo- 4/26-5/3 :yay:
I hope your puppy feels better and won't need surgery. :guilty:

Jo- Poor little lambs... :guilty:

Jen- Sorry Jon is sick. Poor guy! Did you have any more info about the bully or was it that he wouldn't be there until he was on meds?

Jodi- Poor sick baby. K took the kids to church for the second week without me. They are just about to get home from his mom's. They're bringing me soup. :)

Katt- Yeah, you're right. I can't pay that much or keep the kids up and expect them not to melt the next day. They just don't know how to sleep in. :sad2:

My soup's here! See you laters! :goodvibes

OMG JO! THAT SOUNDS SO AWESOME! I'm so excited for you (and a little envious....ok a lot!) but I'm just excited to know you! Everyone---go read the article!!!

For the next four days, we would go to many of the parks, but never go through a single turnstile.
So are you going to make me write a TR? :rotfl2:

Buy a little one :thumbsup2

I know, but it does taste nice!

96% Dixie. Is General Lee your grandfather?!

I was born and raised in Raleigh. We lived in that area until I was 32 yo. In the last 25 years we have lived in DC, Baltimore, Dallas, San Antonio and 7 years in Oklahoma City. It is the last 25 years that explains why I only had a 65% rating. :confused3 :upsidedow

If you get a chance read this article from last years training, it's so exciting!
And yes I'll be on it for a year from January although we've found out from a current panelist that they've been asked to stay on for another year to help out :thumbsup2

Thanks Jo that sounds so interesting, hmm would they want a pug mom next year?

******************************8

I just got a terrible phone call. Bonnie, the woman that walks the pugs at lunch time, has had a stroke. It happened Friday night. SHe called herself and says she feels fine and expects to be released this week. Both legs are ok and her left arm is too. Her right arm is what is giving her trouble. She is my second mother. She teases me all the time and refers to herself as my Jewish mother. Whenever I am sick she takes care of me as well as the pugs. She said that this is my Irish mother's fault since she was in the hospital a couple months ago, she wanted equal attention. At least she has a sense of humor.

One good thing, she has given up smoking, she said she hasn't missed it since being in the hospital and promises not to go back.

If you have a moment please send Bonnie some prayers and good thoughts.

My husband, who grew up in MS, only got 65% while I got 75% and I lived in the North for the first 6 years of my life. :confused3

 I remember you talking about her, Mo. She sounds like she has a great attitude which I'm sure helps.

Hope Bonnie gets better soon!

It's cold here---and kinda smells like rotten eggs,,,,:confused3 ;)

Well, I just booked us for 3/21-3/28 at POP!

Jon was looking at pics of POP with me on All Ears.

I wanted CBR in a pirate room...but he looked at POP and begged. Fine...I'll save myself $400 and we'll go to POP. :lmao: We've never stayed at POP. :confused3

I booked preferred room...but I need advice on where to stay/which building to request.

It would be helpful for Jon if we were on 1st floor and close to the main building.

Opinions please???

Now...I have to look at dining. :faint: And I need to do it fast.

I know we HAVE to do CP, as that is Jon's fav. I want to try Ohana's...but I can't decide if we should do the luau instead. I want to try Sci Fi at MGM. And T-rex cafe. Can you make ressies for T-rex??? Of course we must do RFC at AK...as that is a fav. And Boma...as that is our fav. sit-down meal.

Dang...I have some planning to do.

Okay...so here's my questions.

1. Ohana's or the Luau?
2. What is at Sci Fi? And is it worth it?
3. What have you heard about T-rex and can you make ressies?
4. Where do I request at POP taking into account Jon's needs and our need to be close to the main building?
5. Am I crazy? ;)

We love POP! We never stay preferred though, so I don't know what buildings are which. Both times we stayed there we stayed in the 80's building. With Jon, though you are definitely better getting preferred.

My tips, request 2nd floor or higher (There are elevators in each building). Also request not facing the pool. If you are facing the pool and on the 1st floor it will be NOISY! The pool remains open until midnight and people are there until Midnight, and sometime later until security gets there to kick them out! Request 4th Floor, no one above you walking around. Also request a corner room ::yes::

My opinions Jen

1. Ohana's or the Luau? - Have only been to O'Hana for breakfast
2. What is at Sci Fi? And is it worth it? -

3. What have you heard about T-rex and can you make ressies? - Same compnay that runs Rain FOrest so same type of menu. Mel told me January they are going to start taking ressies

4. Where do I request at POP taking into account Jon's needs and our need to be close to the main building? See above post

5. Am I crazy? ;) - Nope

They've been replaced by Donald at Capr May, good for you though :rotfl2:

REally!!! :woohoo:

I have a question for you fine uber planning folks. Would you go to MK on a crowd level 6 day with EMH or a level 5 day with the MK closing at 8PM?

What time of year? We did EMH night in January and in August (With Mel and Bob...Hi Mel! :wave2:) and it wasn't too bad. You can get quite a bit done and be wary of the long fast pass lines with short stand-by lanes ;)

OK, so who has seen Sweeney Todd, the Johnny Depp version. UGH! it was way to bloody (and I knew what the story line was before hand). It is on HBO this month.

What's everyone else up to?

Hi Mo! Saw Sweeney Todd, didn't care for it. Not because of the blood, I knew about that going in, but because the singing just like started into the dialogue without being blended in very well. :sad2: But that's IMO.

Slept and am getting ready to go to work. :guilty:

I am not a Fan of those "Parties".. luckily.. it appears we will mis it this year.
It does not seem right to CLOSE DOWN Disney. AND CLOSE IT SO EARLY..:headache: except for those who pay to have to have their Private Party. DVC and Annual Pass-holders should not be kicked out.Or at least give them ONE Free Party Pass Per Year. It happened to us last year.. the best night for us to stay in the parks late.. and we had to leave..
smilierippedhand.gif
. at least it rained on them
:cool2:

I liked the "parties", but I do agree that they should let the AP/DVC people into them for free.

i love working around the rules at work!!! :thumbsup2 :lmao:

::yes::

1) Ohana's....Luau is nice, but not worth the $$
2) Sci-Fi is cute, but try lunch the dinner was just ok. I've heard their burgers are good, and they don't do burgers at dinner.
3) Janet said you couldn't make ressies @ T-Rex yet
4) Kat called or faxed POR and requested our room due to her back problems. ;)
5) No, you're a Focker! :thumbsup2 ;) :goodvibes

We like POP Jen... I May actually have a Room option for you.. or close.
We had a Preferred room in Bldg B 60's JUST AROUND THE CORNER FROM THE POOL so a Little quieter.
Let me see if I can find a Pic.. and some info

Boy you all are chatty today!

Mo - for you and Bonnie. I hope she's back on her feet in no time.

Jen: 1. No comment on POP! except it scares the bejeezus outta me! :scared:
2. I've heard the Luau is not worth the cheddar, I know Ohana's hits high marks with Fockers!
3. I've also heard Sci-fi is good for lunch, not dinner.

So are all the kids off tomorrow and Tuesday? I think we'll get out of the house tomorrow. I have plans to hit the zoo.
