I also found another addicting game- cooking dash! It's cake mania and diner dash in one- I LOVE it!

I'm so addicted - I took Maddie's DS with me to pick her up and I sat in the valet line playing until she came out. I think I'm going to ask Santa to bring me a DS for Christmas.


Speaking of Pasta Salad, has anyone ever tried the Market Pantry or is it Farmers Pantry? something like that - the brand from Target. Anyway, I happened to run across it a few days ago and made it - holy moley! It's super yummy! I think it's like a pesto pasta salad.

All this talk of food and baking got me in the mood. So I bough break-n-bakes at the grocery store. Yay, me!

We lost the match but it was close. We won the first set 6-3, lost the second 4-6, then had to cut the third set short because of times. It was 4-4 when we did the tiebreaker, and so we lost by 2 stinkin' points.

I am sad we lost, but pleased we were VERY well matched - tons of games went to "deuce" and if we'd been able to finish the third, I think we could have pulled it off.

Now I'm drinking beer and am glued to CNN.

I'll check in here and there.

So, all this talk about baking put me in a mood today too. I made some pumpkin cookies. They have chocolate chips in them. I had them at the chili cookoff I went to a few weeks ago. They were very yummy even though I wouldn't have thought to put chocolate and pumpkin together!

Anyway, off to get the girls to bed.

You can download Cake Mania for the computer too ya know! I love all the stupid games like that! I have it for DS also but its on our hacked DS so it was f-r-e-e. I love having a hacker hubby!

Didn't anyone miss me?? I know, I know - Halloween, elections - you've all been very busy.
I skimmed. Looks like we still have some black eyes and scary moments and congrats to G-Luv for chatting the most.
I did vote today. Took a total of-------------10 minutes. Cool!!!

I had a great time with Rockie and family in Ohio. I wish they lived closer! I've got some pics and a video to show ya. I don't have them on photobucket yet and I'm at work, maybe tomorrow I can post them.

I surpised Doogles with his birthday gift Sunday. I booked the cabin in NC. It is $615 total for 6 nights. No deposit and we can take our 3 furbabies. Doug was very happy about that part! Here's some pics from the website.

There's a pool table and the master has a king bed. It's near Murphy.

We'll be there from Dec. 24th to Dec. 30th. It will probably take us about 9 hrs to drive there. I can't wait!

I was number 452 at the courthouse at 3:00...no lines......the embarassing thing was that I was walking up the steps.....and saw our county treasurer (who I graduated with--he was our handsome high school quarterback)......and I said "Hi" and tripped on the step........and landed on him. ......then the elderly lady at the poll desk said "oh no dearie.......your eye is black!" Yeah....good times.


Well, I grew weary of CNN and finally grabbed a kid-free moment to watch True Blood before Daran flew in. WOW--it was great! Really going a different line that the books---Sookie fans--Katt and Z, I know....do y'all like the spin? I like it-- it's keeping me guessing even when I thought I knew what's gonna happen! And I feel sorry for Eddie.

I would like to say...that I hope that our country can come together. I hope we all find peace and that our leaders take care of our citizens and our great nation.
