So true. My mom has been seeing doctors for the past year and a half to see if they can give her something for all these little pains she's having. They've prescribed medications left and right and then her brother told her of a pill that is helping my grandma and she asked the dr. for it and he asked "who told you about that pill?" It's super expensive, but she got it and in the first day all her joint pain went away and I hadn't seen her so happy.

I Try.. She wants so Bad to find her "place" on the Dis... I talk about all of you so much... I guess that's why she is trying to "Chat" along. She feels like she knows all her "Aunts" here on the TFW

Scott just got home doing the Shopping. He came home with Most of what he went after. Best Buy and Target... ( which are next door to each other)... were Too Busy. I married a man who LOVES TO SHOP... and owns more shoes than me... isn't that supposed to be the other way around??

Kate you look great! Just remember, she's had personal trainers, cooks, make-up and hair people to look good and you've done it on your own. Plus if you see close-up pictures of her she's starting to age in the face and it doesn't look good.

Ridiculous! I actually saw no fights/arguments this year!

You know, neither did I. I actually saw people helping each other. Some lady offered me her shopping cart as she was leaving Target and I was pulling in. I ended up giving up my copy of a DVD I'd decided against buying to some people that were looking for it. The stores were very organized too and so was the parking. Although I don't think I'd ever brave Wally World on Black Friday.

Turkey day was a BUST. we ate off paper plates (i almost took a picture just to prove it) and ate barely any food. I came home hungry.

Oh Kat! I hope Thanksgiving redux is better.

9 Dragons ROCKED Thanksgiving dinner!

WDW really is crowded during Thanksgiving week. Trust the UG.

This cold thing is like the freaking plague - every other person at The World was coughing up a lung. At least I didn't feel so alone.

I got to hang with Jen for a day and we all had so much fun together!


I'll be back tomorrowish to try and catch up. Hope everyone had a good week

PS I think I'm getting sick again, but I'm still doing our turkey redo tomorrow! Leftover shepherds pie w/ mashed potato topping, baked green bean casserole and home made stuffing ala my grandma's recipe!

OK ladies I am home and I am exhausted. All of the bags are in and in the middle room away from snooping eyes (Jim, not Jimmy ) I'm not completely done, but I only have a few things left ot get. I may try to go back out tomorrow late afternon or evening and finish up. Or I may wait until Sunday when the new sale papers come out!

I did get a new crock pot though

Jimmy is done, I had to order one thing online...both Toysrus I went to didn't have what I needed in the store

Jim is done. We set a limit and I am $5.oo over, oh well.

Teachers are done!

Neices and nephews - done.

Friends two kids done - They are going to Disney in February (They ae just going to wing it and don't want me to help plan - over presidents day weekend - They have been warned so they can't blame me!). ANyway I got the kids each a Disney bank and DIsney DOllars in the bank for thier trip!

I have my parents left to do. Jim's parents are half done. and Jim's Aunt left to do.

I am hitting the wall so I am off to bed. Here's hoping Jimmy sleeps in tomorrow!

Ok, had a GREAT night! Watched Spanglish with a girlfriend (and the MIL) and had margaritas and a bunch of snacks. It was great! Such a good movie!

Meeska is in the hospital. She has several kidney stones that they found this evening. They are having to put a stint in her kidney tomorrow in order to prevent her from losing her kidney.

Kaia is with her dad right now. Daddy is not being very cooperative. He doesn't want to drive Kaia all the way back to Clovis to be with her mommy. (I'm thinking of a name to call him right now...you can imagine what that is)

Send her good thoughts...that she gets through surgury tomorrow...and that her life is not complicated further by any "outside" sources.

She's scared. And I'm scared for her. If you could share a spare thought I would appreciate it...and so would she.

While I've got work on the plate at work, I've been frantically trying to get as much it done in November as I can. I even sacrificed my Black Friday shopping.

I took a break for a few hours yesterday to build assemble a new computer desk for DD11. Now, each child has a work space for homework in their own rooms. We've tried to have them work at the kitchen table, but it's typically a domino effect of interactions that somehow manages to leave homework undone. I've had the two younger ones doing homework in their rooms, which helps, but then they complain about their sister being able to do hers downstairs.

Mrs. T and I talked about DVC again last night. We're still on the fence. If we do jump, we're looking at BLT or SSR. They both have their positives and negatives. We'll talk about it some more before we make a decision.

Mrs. T had a pie shell left over from when she made pumpkin pie for Thursday, so I made a simple quiche last night. I'm heading downstairs to start the coffee and put it in the oven on warn for when the family wakes up. I'll try to pop-in later. TTFN!

It's freezing here today, I have the heating on already Golf was so cold (Jess's lesson) that we all came home and had hot chocolate straight away

The girls have to clean their rooms today ready for the Grandparents staying in Jessica's room on Thursday. Ellie then has a swimming party this evening and the rest of us are at the Choir Christmas party. I have to run around picking Ellie up whilst at the party though!
