Hello Dawn...
I got the Missing items in the mail to you. (Williamsburg Pencils) 1 for each Kid.
Did Sarabeth's "Powerpoint presentation" on Virginia work ? Or have you tried to play it yet.

We will probably go see "Bolt" on Wednesday".. How did the party work out ??

Hey Jodi... Did you get anything from me yet ??

Great. Thanks, Katt. We haven't looked at it yet since we're not in school this week. But we will Monday. :thumbsup2

His party worked out fine. It was so little stress. Momma was happy. We decided to go to the theater by our house even though it wasn't in 3D here. The kids didn't know and I just had everyone meet here for popcorn, coke and M&Ms beforehand. Aiden got to open his gifts and no one was hungry during the movie. :3dglasses

One Slick Momma They did not even see it coming.

Got it in the mail today, Katt! Thanks

Glad you got it... I still get scared sending $$

Good evening all. Jim is at the hockey game and Jimmy is in bed. I actually have a few hours to myself:cloud9: What's everyone up to tonight?

MIL cleaned both bathrooms for me this morning. That's such a bonus I may never let her leave!
Nice that you are getting help. When my mom visits, she always cleans the guest bathroom before she leaves. When my mil visits, she leaves messes all around the house.

I Like Snow :upsidedow
Hey Focker Kidlet! I like snow, too, but we don't get it that often. It snowed twice last January or February. One of the times it didn't stick. The other time we went to our neighborhood pond where there are huge hills and I slid down the hill with all the kids. I was the only parent having fun. I was also the only person who almost hit a tree.

Hi Fockers,
So what's everyone doing for Turkey day,
Hey Mo!

Jess was walking out of the nurses room she fainted on the floor :rotfl2: Bless her
Poor Jess!
My brother was in Biology class in college and they has a vial of blood or something. Anyway - he passed out in the class, in front of everyone, just at the sight of the blood.
Luckily... since your girls are home schooled... they are not forced to do it.
I am wondering if I can cite religious reasons ??
You probably could. I know someone who doesn't want her kids getting any vaccinations. She told me that she had someone from her church right up something that they do not get vaccinations due to religious reasons and she turned it into the school. It wasn't the real reason, though.
:lmao: Sarabeth just walked in my office and said...
"Are you STILL CHATTING... ??.. and ABOUT THAT SHOT" :lmao:

So both girls went back to school today, but DD4 is sick again. She's got a really running nose and was running a bit of a fever at school.
Poor baby!

Good evening ladies (and gentlemen ;) )

I got a WDW postcard in the mail today. I love having online buddies who will surprise you with stuff like that. :goodvibes

Going to see Bolt tonight, hoping that it is as good as I have heard.

Hey Lessa! Movie sounds fun.

WHen my mother visits she cleans too!:thumbsup2

Ouch:scared1:

I am guessing he is not a doctor;) I give him credit though, I would have thrown up:sick:

Why? I know there is some belief that the vaccinations are the casue of autism, but until I see scientific proof I think I'd rather be safe than sorry...KWIM?

No he isn't, but he spent 7 years in college. My mom says to him, "You could've been a doctor." My siblings and I like to remind her that he could not.
He has a Bachelor's degree and 2 associate degrees.

Why? I know there is some belief that the vaccinations are the casue of autism, but until I see scientific proof I think I'd rather be safe than sorry...KWIM?

She is afraid of the autism. I am like you and don't believe the vaccinations give autism. My neighbor's son is 3 and has autism. She told me that he sees one of the top autism doctor's/experts in the country. I can't remember his name, but she acted surprised that I'd never heard of him. Anyway, he says that the vaccinations do not cause autism, it is just that the signs of autism start showing up at the same age that the vaccinations begin.

Bolt was great! We saw it in 3-D and trust me Dawn you didn't miss anything seeing the "regular" film. The 3-D effects were not all that special, if I had the option I would not pay the extra to see it in 3-D. The movie itself was wonderful though. Lots of laughs for adults and kids. :thumbsup2

Glad you liked it Lessa. I think we are going to take Jimmy to see it this weekend:thumbsup2

Thanks for letting us know! My kids are asking to see this and Madagascar 2.

Hi everybody! Lots of chatting going on today!

Kat - Wow! You got a lot done! I feel sorry for Pants. With his background he probably can't enjoy any movie.

JV & Mr. Tig - Happy Birthday to your DDs. Good pics again Mr. T.

Rosie - Why do kids feel the need to put strange stuff in their mouths? I hope Kyle is OK.

Jo - I would say that El is an extemely smart kid who thinks outside the box.:thumbsup2 They need to change the question. Do you let Dave win at golf on the Wii?

CE - Have fun and stay away from the Wii!

Mo - I wondered where you'd gone to! Glad to hear Namath is doing well!!

Katt and anybody else brave enough for black Friday - Good luck and I hope it is worth it!

Mel - Sorry about the snow! I always dread the 1st big dump!

Dawn - That is great news about your friend's baby!!
I loved the in, eat and gone comment.:rotfl2:

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Thanks to those of you who wished me a good sleep. The phone did wake me up at 8:30AM. I was able to get back to sleep. It's OK though, I'm off starting tomorrow until Sunday. :woohoo:

Gotta clean the house, and do laundry and visit my aunt in the old home town before Turkey day.

I'm making my Mock Potato Casserole and Pizza Bites for the Dinner at Doug's sister's house on Thursday. These 2 items are low-carb recipes that I just love. The family loves them too thank goodness.

Like I said I'm not going out on Friday. :scared1:
I don't know what we'll do Saturday. I'll probably put a roast in the crockpot. My brother and SIL should be back from the Bahamas. I'll probably have a long chat with them. Exciting stuff!

If any of you are going away before we chat again, have a great Thanksgiving!

Kyle seems fine !! The tab fell into his glas and he didn't realise it !! He says he swallowed it and felt it !! The Xrays say he didn't !!:confused3

Just a quick hello on my way to pass out. I did some shopping today and mostly bought myself stuff..LOL. Oh well. I did see Twilight again. I know, I know.

I am off to bed I am exhausted! Night!

My Mom WOULD have helped.. and even when she was so sick from "Radiation Treatments" she STILL cooked some apple pies and made Mexican cornbread for Scott.

I wish I could have her Pie on Thursday :sad1:

:lmao: I'll let Sarabeth know you acknowledged her.. I usually get out with the kids too. Would like to go "snow tubing" this winter...Scott has too...he even took the kids sledding on our STREET:scared1: during an ice Storm.

Hey .. that's what we need a "Focker Winterfest"..Give all of our DEEP SOUTH LADIES... a chance to have some Eskimo fun

I may seriously try it. I do not think that this shot should be given to kids so young. It should be an 18 or older shot... and it be their decision. I know.. Kids are "Doing it" WAY WAY too Young. Yes it protects.. but not every one and not ALL of "that type" of diseases/cancers. And as I read on the Gardasil site.. they do not know long term effectiveness or effects.:scared1:

Well as a a Parent with a kid that has it... While I am on the fence as it CAUSING IT.. it cold be a Catalyst. Obviously there are some heredity issues.. ( my brother had is severely.. and when he was born...1955...they did not have a name for it yet...)But there was a change in the serums used for vaccinations... and maybe there is too much Mercury... In what I've seen.. these kids also have a lot of Mercury in their systems.. They may have the "gene" marker for Autism.. and it only manifested...after the shot.

That's GREAT NEWS Rosie !!

Just a quick hello on my way to pass out. I did some shopping today and mostly bought myself stuff..LOL. Oh well. I did see Twilight again. I know, I know.
GIRL.......

Awake too early .. AGAIN... both of my shoulders make it tough to sleep anymore. I KNOW the problem with my right one.. missing most of it's cartilage.. the left one.. ??:confused3 And I can not POSSIBLY take a Vacation... I MEAN..:rolleyes1 .:rotfl:.... Have surgery for at least a year. Knowing what I know now...Surgery would mess up my March scheduled trip to Tampa, and to Sea World in Orlando..(nope no Disney:sad2: :scared: ).. have surgery in May.... messes up my HOPEFUL June trip to Disney...Have surgery in July.. it messes up my already booked rooms at OKW :woohoo: And Meeting Janet:dance3: . Have the surgery in September.. Then I can't take the kids to Busch Gardens "Howl O Scream" in October.

So I'm going to have to build up the muscle in my shoulders.. and HOPE that by doing that.. it will relieve the pain, and buy myself some time.

Mel... Did you get more snow ?? I looked like we might see a "Flurry" but when I woke up this morning.... Nothing.
Hope you get to the Dr.

Hey... anybody heard from Rachel Lately :guilty:

Good evening all. Jim is at the hockey game
You have all the fun sports!

That's an expensive trip to the ER, but at least he's ok. :goodvibes

Mitch was asking me what the movie was, so I told him it must be good, Kat's seen it 8 times. ;)

I got a picture from F & W framed for M for Christmas, and even though I asked the girl at the store to call me and not him, she didn't. So, now he wants to know what I got framed. It's the holidays, dear, don't ask!
