I have, quite literally, only 5 minutes to post.

I read though.

So sorry about you dad, CE. You know you can call anytime! And if you decide to drive out, we're about 7 hours from their spot. You are always welcome to stop here and sleep.

Lori: Sorry your Linds is sick.

JO: Key Lime Pie
Mix up in a bowl:
2 - 14 oz. cans of sweetened condensed milk
1 Cup key lime juice (in juice aisle)
6 egg yolks

(this is doubled as I thought it was way too "thin")

Pour into a prepared crust. I used graham cracker. It didn't specify.

Bake at 350 for about 25 mins. (it said 15 for one batch, I'm guessing about 25 for two?)
Let rest for 20 mins before refridgerating. Chill for at least an hour. Serve with whipped cream.

Gotta run peeps. I miss you!

Hello Fockers!

DAWN is worn out from going back and forth to Austin. Camryn made the dance team. HOORAY! She bought some neat scrapbook stuff. They’ve been talking DVC as soon as things settle. Very exciting!!

LORI says Linds is sick. DR is whining.

DEB - What did he get you last year? A vacuum cleaner. :lmao:

CEL BEL is making necklaces. Marc and puppy will be home. :lovestruc

CE’s dad may have cancer of the plasma. She says it is treatable if needed. They won’t know for sure until the 21st. I'll be thinking of him and you!

KAT was relaxing with KC and some Chinese………..food.

ROSIE says Kyle has been accepted in the accelerated program. Another HIP, HIP, HOORAY! Judy basically told her soon to be ex to get bent. Good for her!! Thanks for the info. Rosie. Since it’s just me and Doug, I hate to take that root.

JO gets to decorate the kitchen now that the boiler is done. She has informed us that she is a straight putter, for now. So getting a boiler helped your putting?

MIZ DIZ wants to rub elbows with people that are ‘out of her league’ according to her DH. She is making Disney shirts for BG. For a minute there, when I read your post, I thought you went to Old Navy to get Gelato. Now that would be interesting!

TE’s computer died. The new Dell has a 22” screen. Her hearing in the one ear is gone. It can be fixed when she is ready. and I suppose you just saw me pick my nose.

JANET has switched her Aug ressie to POP.

MEL popped in with a few words and a recipe and poof was gone.

((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

Doug and I went to see 'Star Trek'. We both thought it was awesome. I am not a Trek geek. I did love the original series though. I watched the reruns all the time as a kid. After all, the show is as old as me.:lmao: Any way the movie is a great sci-fi, save the Earth from the bad guy flick all on it's own. If you are a Trekkie, there are a lot of inside jokes from the series that you will identify. The characters were great nods to the originals without going overboard. Seeing Leonard Nimoy as Spock again was wonderful. It was worth the price of the ticket for me.

Live long and prosper, Fockers!

Exciting news! One of my mom's sorority sisters is organizing a trip to Paris for next summer, 10 days including airfare for only $2000! She is going to fax my mom the tour info, it would be amazing if we get to go. Don't know if it will happen as I have to be careful with making sure I save enough each year for tuition but it is fun to dream! :cloud9:

It's a Merona (Target) brand across the body hobo bag. You guys think it'll work?

VERY CUTE!!!!!

***********************
It's late but you know me, not friends with sleep. I am feeling kinda down, today (as of midnight anyway) would have been Bale's 17th birthday.

No plans until tomorrow afternoon. KC works from home 9-5 and then we are going to his friend's birthday party. I really don't wanna go but he already told her we'd come. Oh well.

I may pop in if he has some downtime during the work day.

Night all.

Miss you, too!

Thanks, Kristel.

The party will be fun, surely! Booze? ;)

Off to bed. It's nearly 2:00. D is asking why I'm checking in this late! ;)

Good morning Fockers. It's a lazy Saturday for me. I am still in my pajamas. Tball game this afternoon. Then shopping. Then housework yuk!

DEB - What did he get you last year? A vacuum cleaner. :lmao:
Nope. Nothing. Not a card. Not a cake. Nothing. Then Mother's day was a few days later and I got the same thing. He more than made up for it at christmas though so all was well...eventually.

Good morning!

Our baseball is at 11:30, and of course it's raining. Oh, well.

We MAY be able to get the boat Monday or Tuesday, but not tomorrow. I have no idea what they have planned for me, except probably not making me go to the 8:00 practice tomorrow morning. :rotfl:

I talked to my dad a bit yesterday evening, and he sounds in pretty good spirits, though a little frustrated that they won't know much for a couple of weeks. Thanks again, everyone, for the good thoughts. :goodvibes

Good Morning Fockers!

I tried quoting but gave up. TE glad to see you back around and that you got a new computer. Dawn :woohoo: to DVC! CE  to your dad. Thanks everyone for the well wishes for Lindsey. :goodvibes That's all I got. :wave2: Hi to all I missed and .

Lindsey is doing much better today. At about 7:00 last night she perked up and was able to keep some water and food down. She was then up until midnight since pretty much sleeping all day. No one else got what she had ::cross fingers it stays that way::.

Not much planned today. I'm supposed to go to a friends baby shower this afternoon but it's about an hour away and I really don't feel like traveling that far and its all on country back roads. Plus, I have a feeling I was only invited for a gift. I don't talk to her on a regular basis and was surprised when she e-mailed me asking for my address so she can send me a baby shower invite. I didn't even know she was pregnant. LOL

I told my kids that the only thing I wanted them to do today was to clean the toy room for my Mother's Day gift. They've been in there since 10 but I don't think they have touched a thing yet. They keep saying they want me to help. Uh yeah...I don't think so! We'll see if it actually gets done today and how long they will be in there.

Other than that...nothing but picking up some and doing laundry. Hope y'all have a good Saturday!

Good Morning all !! Was up at 6am and off to take someone for lab work then breakfast !:thumbsup2(I love it when I get paid to eat and the meal paid ) Then stopped in at my on call house to check on them ! Now am taking a break before going to MY house !!:cool1:

Judy and the kids are in Columbus and on the way to the Zoo !:cool1:

Oohhhhh, good point Rosie:thumbsup2
========================================================

I'm home. We had Tee Ball at 10:00. Jimmy did great, he got two hits and caught 2 balls that were thrown to him at 1st base! When the kids actually remembered to throw to first base:rolleyes1

Afterwards we took his friend Matt with us and went to his after school place who was having a flea market/fair. Got some books for Jimmy and we let weach of the kids picka toy, Jim got a HB copy of ANgels and Demons, and we got Jimmy a baseball Tee!!!!!!!!!! We spent a grand total of $15:thumbsup2

We were going to go to the high school afterwards (It is an agricultural school and they were having thier fair) but the boys just wanted to come home. It was hot and they were tired. Now they are watching SPiderman on DIsneyXD and Jim is going to go start the yard work. Me, I am going to fianlize my days and ADR choices since I can call on Monday for ADR's:yay:

Good Morning Everyone! :goodvibes

Just thought I'd stop in to say "Hi!" and pass out some hugs to those who need them!

CE- I'm so sorry about your dad. Sending lots of love and good mojo your way and his as well.

_______________________________________________________

We had a fun night last night at DLR. We got there around 3:30pm and the kids pooped out about 8:45, so we left before the fireworks. Someday they'll be able to hang! :lmao: The weather was optimal, I hope it stays that way for Mo's visit!

I took some awesome pictures of the new Celebrate! A Street Party parade. Maddie was chosen to participate and she loved it! I was absolutely floored by all the rudeness we encountered yesterday. It was probably the worse show of selfishness I've ever seen at the park. I witnessed a man jump under a rope right in front of an elderly couple and push them out of their spot. I saw another mother physically move someone elses child so her child could get a spot on the curb 2 minutes before parade time. :sad2: It's really sad to see what parents are teaching their children. I was digusted.

But the highlight of my day was watching a little being shown the castle for the first time and she exclaimed, "Wow, that's a small castle, Mommy!" :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: Dudes, our castle is small. But it's all Walt's so I'm ok with it. :thumbsup2

:flower3:

CE  to your dad.

Other than that...nothing but picking up some and doing laundry. Hope y'all have a good Saturday!

Thanks, and you too. :) Did you end up going to the shower?

Judy and the kids are in Columbus and on the way to the Zoo !:cool1:

Oh, good!

Ugh, glad we didn't have to play in the rain!

Lucky. :rotfl2: It poured for a while, then the sun came out and it became beautifully humid and nasty. Swell.

We spent a grand total of $15:thumbsup2

Nice!

CE- I'm so sorry about your dad. Sending lots of love and good mojo your way and his as well.

Thank you. How's Waldo doing?

Dudes, our castle is small. But it's all Walt's so I'm ok with it. :thumbsup2

::yes::

And lovely manners, there. Sigh.

**************************************************
Well, it poured rain for a while, then, as I said, it got hot and humid, sticky, etc. Woohoo.

We're now under severe t-storm warnings again.

D took the dog and the kids on a walk to talk about "errands" they need to run. We had, as I think I've mentioned, hoped to be on the boat tomorrow, but as the repairs aren't done... They must be planning something. :rotfl:

I'm kind of hopeful that he'll take them out for a bit and I can either nap - since I was up late - or play the Wii... :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Hope everyone's having a happy weekend so far! :grouphug:

Are you gonna post the pics for us to see:rolleyes1

I haven't heard Jim and Jimmy planning anything and Jimmy can keep a secret:headache:;):lmao:
=========================================================

THe boys are playing with their new toys. We went outside and played for a while and now we are back in the house. Jim is mowing the lawn...it's gonna take a while all the rain...we lost the dog in the grass:lmao: We also have a tree in yard that came down, so he probably won't get everything done today. Nothing planned for Mother's day....as far as I know. I will call my mom tomorrow, but that's about it!:thumbsup2

DH said they are out of our league. :confused3:rotfl:
No way :rotfl2:

Yesterday I went to Joann's and bought some fabric. I'm going to attempt to make Baby Girl some Mickey shirts for our upcoming Disney trip. I hope it turns out. If I can get it right, I'll post pics when I'm done. The kids are going to do the Pirate Adventure this time, so I am going to make her some pirate shorts. I did this last year and it was easy. I just added fabric to the bottom of jean shorts and then covered the back pockets with the fabric. If I can sew the Mickey heads right, I'm going to use the same fabric to do a Mickey Head tshirt for ds. I also bought Baby Girl a cotton dress that I am going to try to add the Mickey head to.
Sounds cute!

Sleep well!
Thank you and I did :goodvibes

Hey friends!!

I'm here!!!
Wooohooo good to see you, sorry about your ear though

Hey all. So as those of you on facebook know I was on the phone with CRO today looking to upgrade for the August trip. Was looking at POFQ, but just can't justify the extra $300 so we are going to stay at POP:thumbsup2
:thumbsup2

You say it's cheating, I say it's being smart! :lmao:
True :rotfl2:

JO: Key Lime Pie
Mix up in a bowl:
2 - 14 oz. cans of sweetened condensed milk
1 Cup key lime juice (in juice aisle)
6 egg yolks

(this is doubled as I thought it was way too "thin")

Pour into a prepared crust. I used graham cracker. It didn't specify.

Bake at 350 for about 25 mins. (it said 15 for one batch, I'm guessing about 25 for two?)
Let rest for 20 mins before refridgerating. Chill for at least an hour. Serve with whipped cream.
Thanks sounds yummy

So getting a boiler helped your putting?
Yep :rotfl2:

Sounds fun except the nasty people!

Well the day started off well with a huge row with Ellie, it all started about a hairband and ended up with major screaming from her and her being banned from TV for a week. She is just so rude and talks back constantly, I know those of you who've met her would never believe me but she is a huge monkey!!!! Whereas after golf Jess was an angel, first she made some flapjacks then did her homework followed by helping me clean the outside of the conservatory (didn't have to ask either) then she made a shepherds pie for dinner :cloud9:

Seriously...hope it gets better!

Do you have a big garden?

Not really, I will have to see if I can find some pics of it. If not I will take some to show you!:thumbsup2

Yep! Pollo Guisado, And it smells good already!

ebags.com they have stupid sales on the retired stuff!

Congrats on the new PC! So are you planning on having the surgery soon? Nice to see you around, btw!
I will have to go to Vanderbilt in Nashville to have it done so I need to plan that well in advance. THere's no real rush---apparently it can't get much worse than this.

+++++++
Thanks for the update CE!

Janet---sorry got your text too late! Thanks for checking on me!
..........and I want your avatar..........

____________
Well, we had a tornado warning here last nite...........and I didn't even know it until Katt texted me and said bad weather was coming! We have satellite TV and internet and they had both went o-u-t so we had no clue. Lots of limbs down and lots of rain and hail, but everything ok. Reminded me of Texas!

You're easy to please :rotfl2:

Do you have a big garden?
Remember---we grow things in gardens.

For example---I have a 3 acre+ YARD but no GARDEN.:teacher:;)

(and the grass is getting high---we've had excessive rains and he can't get the tractor out......but we live on the top of a mountain so no one cares. I'd let the goats out but they eat my flowers!
