Just wanted to give everyone an update about my friend with the brain tumor. He passed around noon today. I am still not certain but am leaning towards not going to visitation or the funeral. I just fear it would bring drama to an inappropriate situation.

I haven't sent the card yet so I will now send a sympathy card instead.

Do keep this family in your prayers though. 3 weeks ago he was healthy or at least thought he was. He left behind a 1 year old and a 4 year old.

I got most everything done today, which is good. Now I am going to lounge on the couch and watch Brothers & Sisters from last night before I cook dinner. Here's hopin' KC gets out relatively on time because it's been a very long, dreary, lonely day.

Well since WDW hasn't released August hours yet (Although our resident mom is supposedly working on that) I did do one thing trip related. I reserved my rental car. GOt a great deal from Avis. $25% off plus a free upgrade, so I paid for a Full size and am getting a premium

i finally got all my stuff worked out today, but it is going to be one busy summer. ill have no break at all until who knows when. I did however manage to get a good schedule for the 2nd half of summer. I only have class on tues, wed, and thurs. 4 day weekends for me!

I have to sign up for my classes in the next few weeks and it looks like I'll only have 2 classes on Mon/Wed and one class online. Stinks that my Mondays are at like 9AM after a weekend but I'll take it to have some time off.

I'm trying to go the weekend Janet's there but that's still up in the air. My mom wants to go to the Food and Wine Festival too, but my AP expires by then, so we'll see. It all depends on our $$ situation at the time.

I started my gym membership last week and went every day, that along with a healthy diet... I'm down a measly 2 pounds! I guess it's better than nothing, right?

grrr! Im trying to register for summer classes, but the system keeps crashing and i still havent gotten anything done. In the time ive been waiting ive been able to catch up with the last 3 pages.

I see you finally got it done, but I remember trying to register for classes and it is very frustrating.

Did you like the movie? I think he's VERY hot but the movie was stinky.

I thought they did a good job. I'm not really a fan of the comic books and vaguely remember the cartoons. But story wise, I think they did a good job with his origin. Plus he's Hot. And Gambit wasn't too bad either.

Well I got all the party goods for tomorrows tea. I rigged some plastic crystal-like serving dishes with some plastic crystal-like serving bowls and made pretty tiered serving trays. I took Andy with me to the party store and he was on FIRE - it scared me. He choose some cute plastic tea cups and suggested I buy some doillies to line the serving trays. I think he found his calling.

I'm off to bed, soon. I've got a million things to do tomorrow and it all starts at 5:15am.

She said it was extremely stressful. 44 people tried out for 36 spots. Only 3 new girls made it, so I'm extremely proud.

To top it off I don't have anything to read!!! I may bring my laptop and work on my scrapbook.
Zeta called me on the way to work cursing because he was having abdominal pain. He thinks it is a kidney stone. I told him to come home but he is too afraid to take off since it is still a new job. I said 'BUT IT'S A KIDNEY STONE!'

keep on trucking with the weight loss! you know what helped me the most............... i quit weighing myself every week. now, i do it once a month! it flucuates so much, i would get discouraged and then eat a whole bag of chips or something bad like that. it has really helped.

We have cheernastics tonight (chi said she still wanted to do this so that she can try out again next year). Zeta is working late so I may postpone grocery shopping yet again. Taking 5 kids to the grocery store is no fun.

Tomorrow Tau, Delta, and Alpha all have dentist appts at diff times and I have one too at a diff office. Then we have karate, tball practice, and then we are going out for my bday (early celebration).

one was a drunk trying to hit and kick everyone......... lovely!

the other was a woman who was just seriously crazy. i mean psychosis crazy! they were having a hearing this am in court to have her committed!

Tonight starts off the end of year season for Auntie Hedy-Mordie (13) has his spring concert tonight. Thursday Dniece14 (holy carp it'll be her last time performing as a middle schooler!) has hers. Friday we are taking Mordie and Ferdie(9) to the circus. Saturday is hopefully Ferdie's soccer game, and celebrating mother's day, as I'm working Sunday.

Talked to Jimmy's teacher today and "move up day" is on June 12th. My baby isn't going to be a Kindergartener anymore Thank goodness his camp starts on the 15th, Jim isn't done work until June 25th.

Morning Fockers!

Not much going on today. Linds has a field trip to the flower shop this afternoon. No rain and the sun is out so no cancellation on this one.

It's Tuesday so DR is home with me today and is driving me nuts. In the house, then out of the house. In the house and then out of the house. Our backyard is nothing but mud so he tracks mud in the house. So yes, I'm going crazy and it's only 10AM. Good thing today is Cinco de Mayo and I can blame the drinking early on that one.
