Aw, I hate to think of you hurting. I was a total mess for a few days after the wisdom teeth removal, I'm sorry to say. I was in a lot of pain, but the Tylenol with codeine made me throw up, so that was fun.

I hope it's easy for you - I know it CAN be for some, but don't plan a lot after, just in case.

Thanks CE. I think it will be fine. Really, they hurt so much right now that I'm ok with more pain to GET RID of them!

We had a nice day and evening, but I'll be happy to be company free by tomorrow afternoon. Of course, I just have to get ready for MORE , but... I have a few days.

Im not a feminist or anything radical but i made this face too. Now i dont know what to do, his really creeping me out.

On a brighter note, were definitely keeping the puppy. Her names sunny and she just went to the vet and got her shots and tick meds. Shes about 12 weeks old and only 7 lbs!

Love the name for the GP. That guy is a pig. Can you tell a supervisor? I hope you don't have to work alone with him!!!

It's raining here again! They said possible snow last night though, so I'm not complaining. We need the rain to get the grass all green and lovely.
I slept so wonderfully last night. Doesn't it feel great when you get good rest???
Today I am going to clean house, hoover (Jo), wash the sheets on the boy's beds and then go to the gym. I have no idea what SD has planned for his mental health day, but I'd like him to go to the gym with me. Bob comes home tonight from Illinois. Yay!!!

I forgot to mention Kristel last night when my quotes went kaflooey. That is great news about Doug. I hope he continues to get better!

Yuck, wisdom teeth, best of luck with the surgery/removal!

I remember when I had mine out back in 03. One morning I woke up and my gums were so swollen that I could not close my mouth or really chew so we made an emergency visit to the dentist who said that it was being caused by my wisdom teeth. Luckily the swelling went down and two months later I had my surgery.

I did not even have a choice, they just put me to sleep. Next thing I knew I was waking up balling my eyes out about my cat that had just died and about how much I hated dad (the parents had just divorced). So embarrassing! The drug they used to put me under must have made me super emotional.

My friend and her daughters should be here around 5.00, maybe. They are leaving Atlanta sometime this morning after dropping her husband off. She wants to stop at a mall or something to let the girls run around so they won't be in the car so many hours straight. Smart so maybe they'll sleep in the car. Mitch is trying to get packed as well but he'll only be gone 5 weeks instead of 18 months. So I won't be complaining in front of Leslie.

Oooooowwwwww!!!! They had me suited up with a Western saddle that wasn't a good fit for me and my seat bones are totally bruised. I'm actually sitting on a pillow to get through work today.

Otherwise, it was good, though! I did fairly well, despite an uncomfrotable saddle and stubborn horse. I've been promised an English saddle and more accomodating horse for next week.


Did you see that AKV Kidani was open to CMs and DVC members yesterday? I haven't gotten over to the DVC threads yet to look for pics. On my way now!

I thought it was an odd choice, and then AIL was kind of ticked as it was one of those hotwire deals where they don't tell you the name of the hotel until it's booked. She didn't like the chain they ended up in, but I pulled up the actual website and I think I've convinced her that it's OK.

Looks nice, but I'm confused as to where it is within the "normal" AKL area... Can you see the main hotel from Kidani, or vice versa? Is it next to it, or behind the horseshoe?

Well, as I said, the ILs just pulled out of the driveway.

I was an idiot, though, and last night when the Terminix guy called to see if he could do the annual "let's see if there's any bug damage" check (for which he needs to be inside the basement) today, I said OK. So I am waiting for him between 11-1. I NEED to get to Target for the prescription, and my grocery situation is growing more dire, too.

I should go shower now, so that on the hope that he comes more towards 11:00, I can be ready to go right after. That would be especially true if it's more like 1:00 - if I don't more or less tail him out of the driveway, I won't have time before the kids get home.

No yoga for the boys tonight - the session ended last week, and we didn't sign up for the next one because of the busy baseball schedule. D is supposed to be home sometime this afternoon, but then he has a meeting at the office and then he's going to head to Boston to meet up with AIL for dinner, since he missed them here.

Hope everyone's having a good day - I started this post before they finished packing up, so I bet I've missed a few posts since. I'll probably respond, then get myself showered up.

I had an interesting day at work. Im an assistant in our warehouse for one of the general merchandise guys. Well...he can say some pretty inappropriate things as times. He tries to make them clean, but there are underlying tones. Hes a 60 year old guy that gives my friend and i the heeby jeebies. I didnt used to work with him, but i do now and i now know why most girls dont stay for more than a month or so. He makes mistakes all the time and i basically do his job for him. Good Morning all. It's beautiful day here in Philly. The sun is out and it's going up to 60. I have also just shortened my week by deciding to take Friday off. Jim's aunt is visiting on Saturday, so I have tons to do for that...and I just don't feel like it after work, KWIM. On Sunday we are going to Hershey Park so I won't have time to do laundry then, so I will get it done on Friday

I scheduled my wisdom teeth extraction for May 1st. The Oral surgeon said that it will be easy peasy. (yeah right) No impacted teeth, no cutting and no stitches. I am even allowed to drive myself after if I want. Bob is driving though so no worries there!
I can't wait for them to come out. They hurt SO bad right now. I'm going to take some pain meds and go to bed.

At least you'll get those suckers out soon! I wish we had dental coverage, I could use a visit.

Already it's 52 degrees! i think the A/C is going on today because there is really no air in here. My cat is sprawled on the floor too, which means its warm in here.

KC left for work an hour ago, I decided just to stay up after about 6 hours of sleep. I have a bunch of little things to do today esp. since KC was out sick yesterday. Really i wanna curl up in that comphy chair and nap. KC also has day one of his trial for jury duty tomorrow, but to me thats just more time to get things done when he's not here. Why is it that men tend to just leave everything all over the place when trying to do a project? I swear i follow KC around cleaning up after him, it makes me nuts.

Well I had a busy night. Running back and forth to karate-tball-then karate again. PMing everyone trying to get the stroller swap taken care of. Plus the usual laundry, homework, etc.

Then DH told me he changed his mind about Disney - he wants to go in June now and not go to the beach. Plus he isn't sure about taking a whole week off after only working there for 5 weeks so he is thinking of just flying down and meeting us midweek. So I get to drive all 5 kids down by myself (yea me!) and Tour disney alone with them (yea me!). We have no ADRs and I had already cancelled our june ressie and changed it to October.

Then I had two horrible dreams. One involved us witnessing a double murder and my extended family all taking the killer's side. The other involved (I'm so embarressed) me flirting with a very young hippy looking guy!

The baby (yes i know he is almost 3 but he is still my baby) woke up twice - once with nightmares and again with a poopy diaper.

V - The pics from Busch Gardens looked great. I really should go back there one day.

Lessa - The surgery story sacred me. I have had to have mine pulled for over 10 years and I keep putting it off. When it hurts it hurts for 3 - 5 days and then stops. I just deal with it but I know I will have to have them pulled, 2 are growing in sideways.

Jo - Very nice things you got.

Kat - What restaurant did you go to? I think I missed that.

48 hours from now I will be in the new place in the Bronx.

There is talk again of DVC if there is enough money left over because we do not want to pay the interest rate. I hope there is.

Who's your next visitors???

FIL and step-MIL. Honestly, it's getting better with them, but it's still really stressful when they're coming. She's the one who isn't so interested in the kids, and that's fine - I truly am not hurt by it, it's just her personality - but she also doesn't tend to understand that they need to be in routines and we do need to cater to them some (not fancy meals, not up late, not taking them to things where they'll be bored...)

She was very much amazed, though, when they came and stayed when D & I went to France last spring, at how much there was to do, etc., so she's "getting it" a little more. We had a good visit at their house last April, but she's better in her own house.

She's the one who just recently rearranged all the furniture in my BIL and his fiancee's living room whilst his fiancee was at work. She just doesn't have the boundaries in our houses that I think she needs to have.

Oh, well. They don't stay long. Should be roughly Sunday afternoon and then they'll probably leave Wed. morning. Really (Fuzzy Disney In-Laws? ) it's only 2 days - Monday and Tuesday - and Monday is the birthday party, so we'll all need to be involved with that. So really that only leaves Tuesday...

I should have written the times down. I had just stepped out of the shower when I heard the dog barking and the phone ringing. I dried off and listened to the message - the Terminix guy had been here, thinking we'd agreed to 10-12 (rather than the 11-1 that I thought.) I called him back - he hadn't gotten far, and he's here now, which is good, but duh.

He's been inside, and is just looking around outside, should be done soon. I will have more than enough time to get my errands done, so that's good.

Thanks!!! As you may remember, D won't stay anywhere else, so I wanted to know how it was going to work. Despite the fact that they were constructing both times we were at AKL, I never got a good sense of "where" - which is good, as obviously the construction wasn't obvious!

And the bus stop is so far away from the front doors, anyway - I couldn't imagine not having another stop, but I had to ask.

48 hours from now I will be in the new place in the Bronx.
