Slate - Crocs it is...TEll us how many pairs per month you would require

Katt - I'm here, just still busy with work. Probably won't calm down for another 2 months or so.

CE - Glad tennis went well and you were able to get your appointment rescheduled. I did that once with a hair appointment. My stylist called about 20 minutes after my appointment time an asked me if I was coming in---Ooops:guilty:

skiing was okay. i skiied (sp?) for about 30 minutes! :rotfl2:
Sounds fun :rotfl2:

Leo and I had a long talk last night and the situation is far worse than I'd imagined. He's being bullied, big-time.
I hope the seperation works:hug:

Hi!
Popping in to say 'Hi'! The window peeps showed up at 830AM like promised. They had all the windows in by 11AM. Now they are doing all the trim on the outside. I can't believe what a difference it already makes in the appearance.
Wow they did that quick and they look good too :thumbsup2

Sarabeth made "All County Choir"...:woohoo: AND.... She was selected to sing the National Anthem SOLO:yay:. Yes Momma is PROUD...
Fantastic :woohoo:

So I have to ask: are we all in the minority, or is just where I live??? :confused3
V there are horrid kids everywhere, in my girls school probably 90% of the kids are great and nice but the other 10% :scared:

CE and Jo can be in charge of gym (even though all the kids will learn is tennis and golf:lmao:)
:rotfl2:Oh and I can teach all the kids proper English :snooty::rotfl:

Here it is - knew it was coming....

Disney World Announces Layoffs
A couple of my WDW friends (bosses) posted on FB yesterday, it's brutal :sad2:

No word from D, who's supposedly talking to the boat salesman. :confused3
And????

Had a nice evening with Dad last night, he's now roughly in Chicago and then flying on to Denver. I then played golf today and 3 holes from the end the heavens opened and we got soaked, then I drove to pick Jess up from school and went and got her some new uniform. £73 later (about $110) she had a new sweater, pants and 4 blouses :faint: David is now cooking chicken stir fry for tea!!

Hi guys! 'Member me?? I am the original disappearing FOCKER! :lmao:

Trying to get back into the swing of things... mainly the DIS ;)

Waldo's doing ok. Preparing for a second surgery in the next week or so. He's ok with it, just wanting all this to be done already and get his quality of life back, KWIM?

Andy's home for the next few days for some vacation time - we've got some things planned this weekend as a family. Movies tonight, Disneyland Sunday (whoo hoo!!!). :yay:

Hope everyone is doing well. :goodvibes

Then all the kids are going to sound like Mary Poppins:confused3;) JK Jo LY/MI:hug:

I talked to my mom. No PT staff is being laid off. It is all full time salaried staff. My mohter already told them she ain't working more hours (see Jo..I speak good English:rolleyes1)

Wow that s brutal news for Disney Executives ! now it was sorta expected with the economy but I am surprised it hasn't affected the reguar workers ! That is kinda refreshin !!Usually the lower ranks get hit first!!

Wow with Mel not here it's just WEIRD that I am posting so early. The kitty woke me up making loud noises doing his business so I am dropping by before I get ready to hit IKEA and get some breakfast.

Have fun at IKEA!

Very cute, Kat!
Speaking of cats. When I checked on our wiskered furbabies a couple of weeks ago, I noticed they were lookin' more like pigs than kitties. Doug always feeds them. I told him to cut back on the food because I didn't want porky pusses.:lmao: He also decided to give them the run of the polebarn. They are already looking better. Now hopefully they'll keep all the mini- beasties away too.

Speaking of cats I just discovered that unfortunately my cats are smarter that i expected. I bought a plastic box (with the handle latches) and put all of the cat treats, toothpaste, and toys in it. It was sitting on the floor and when i got home yesterday the cats had figured out how to undo the latches and pull the lid off. They took out their favorite toys and demolished them! I had pink feathers everywhere! This is exactly why i was trying to keep these toys away from them!

:rotfl2: Ever have a cat eat your homework.....??

We had a smart Choc.Point Siamese cat that was going nuts when I was in HS.. because I was doing a Science Fair project that involved White Mice.I had them in a cage in my room and kept it locked. ( both the room and the cage)

Well one day Spicy slipped in there and Somehow.. unlocked the cage..
Found 2 mice heads.. so much for that experiment.:rolleyes1
Imagine my teacher's expression when I told her My cat ate my homework.

:tiptoe: Wow it's quiet around here....

Didn't you see my sign... It's just like "Fockerfest".. so I put the Closed sign up till those in WDW decide to all come home. :goodvibes
All we need is a "Funeral Durge" and we could bury this thing it's moving so slow.

nope ive never had a cat eat my HW, but my last cat was definitely a trouble maker. I had him when i was in HS and i could never leave my bedroom door closed. He would swing it open while i was asleep and bat it around. He especially liked the springy door stopper. :headache: so i would pile my textbooks in front of the door to hold it closed, but he would slowly drag each book away until he moved them all.

another reason i prefered it closed, was because in the middle of the night he would go into the kitchen and get a can of cat food, roll it into my room and meow at me to open it all night. in the morning there would be several can littering my floor....and whole loafs of bread! ya he was a very "husky" kitty

:tiptoe: Wow it's quiet around here....
Yeah, it is. Who farted? :confused3

Just!!!! :rotfl2: Goodish news about Waldo and sounds like you've got a good weekend planned, are you going to DL less now???
Yup - we let our passes expire in September. Too crowded, too many locals, etc. With the economy, things have slowed down and we've been missing it, so we'll go and renew our passes this weekend. Believe it or not, it was Andy's idea. :faint:

I don't know if I really need to do an update right now. Maybe later. I just wanted to show you our 'Redneck' vehicles.

This is the one that is being replaced. We couldn't find a snow plow for it.

Trucks003.jpg

This is what we replaced it with.

I'm not joking. These are our trucks.

Howdy all. I went into Easter commando mode today-Easter baskets (for two nephews, two brothers, two DSIL's, DSIL's little sister, and my mother) are done. Easter egg hunt stuff is done (although a set of HSM eggs were beckoning to me in CVS). Now we just need to buy food. Oh, and we got a new fridge, our old one kicked the bucket last week.
Our local discount store had $10 crocs-I got the Adaras in silver/lavendar and the pink/khaki mickey beaches.

Are you done with Brownies now:confused:

:tiptoe: Wow it's quiet around here....

Thanks Jo!

Believe it or not, it was Andy's idea. :faint:

What did you put in his coffee? I want some for Jim:thumbsup2

Your pictures crack me up:lmao:

======================================================

Home from work and it's Friday:dance3: No work, no thinking about work, no nothing. Jim and Jimmy are going to go to the playground tomorrow and I am going to run to Michaels. Jimmy's art supply box is getting abit barren and I need to pick up some patches to repair 2 pairs of school pants. I just need to get them to last through the end of the school year.

Not much else planned for the weekend. I am probably going to start the spring cleaning, so hopefully it will be a productive weekend!:thumbsup2

Hedy - Great deal on the crocs:thumbsup2 Our official Croc pusher will be so proud;)

It's a TRAGIC evening here in the Falls !! :sad2:Ayoung man was killed on his motor cycle just 2 blocks from me !!! :sad1:Apparently he and some buddies were racing up and down the Blvd for about half hour ,he was doing wheelies and the cops were after him ! :scared1::scared1:Acar pulled out of a gas station and he wheelied into it and flew through the air !! His bike was in pieces all across the road . The area is all yellow taped and cops etc are everywhere !! Judy walked up later and discovered that she works with one of them who was with him and she knew him! :sad2:The car has a totally cruched oneside of the trunk that is a little wider than the cycles tires !! :scared1:Why do people do such stupid stuff !! Now a mother has lost a son and a child a father etc !!T:sad2:hey had just left work so shouldn't have had time to be drunk!!! I :sad2:am just mortified !!:sad1:

OOOHH Big News... I think I shared this with Jodi the other day on Facebook

Sarabeth made "All County Choir"...:woohoo: AND.... She was selected to sing the National Anthem SOLO:yay:. Yes Momma is PROUD...

Way to go Sarabeth!!! I did all those choirs and stuff when I was in school. Anything with singing and I was in! Are you gonna video the national anthem solo??

Okay - I wondered if it was just my perception, but you guys seem to feel the same way... I'd think it's just standard practice to raise kids with little regard or respect for authority - or for anyone/thing for that matter - save for the fact that every single child of a Focker I've met has shown the kind of manners, respectfulness, kindness and all-around good behavior I try to instill in Leo. So I have to ask: are we all in the minority, or is just where I live??? :confused3

I think parenting in general is very lax these days, at least around here. I feel fortunate to have met all of you who obviously are doing lots of things right and have correct ideas about teaching kids respect and politeness. I have a few friends with kids and half the time I feel like I want to jump in and parent for them, and they aren't even my kids! My friend L is one of my fav moms ever- she has a great relationship with her 10 year old and it impresses me. You are doing the right thing even if everyone else isn't.

Not a lot to report here. I heard back form Leo's teacher and she's separated him form the 3 bullies in class. She didn't seem to be taking this very seriously, but I'll wait and see how the separation works before pushing for anything more. Leo seemed much happier last night than he has in a while, so maybe it's the answer. We'll see...

Meanwhile, he's off to his dad's after school for Spring Break - won't be home until 4/6. :sad1: I miss him already!

Still thinking about WDW restaurants. I keep changing my mind every few hours, lol! Today, I'm having the urge to re-visit Tony's and give it a second chance. Also, Tutto, based on a wonderful review by a DIS friend. I might just be hankering for some red sauce this morning.
Hope everyone has a good Friday!

At least it seems to be getting better! for being away from leo for so long! And my opinion of the Italian food is MEH in WDW, but I live close enough to Little Italy so I may be biased.

If not a Commune...how about a Focker Charter School (near WDW of course)

Mel and Kat can teach cooking (it's a necessity:thumbsup2) and be in charge of a hot lunch program:thumbsup2

What else do we need. It hink we should propose the idea to Disney, maybe they will give us the funding to start

LOVE IT!!!!!! We can paint everything Lime Green LOL.

What do they have for breakfast? I love, love, love the meatballs.

They have eggs, bacon, potatoes, french toast sticks and really yummy coffee!!!

Sounds like a great weekend planed, I wish I could whisk away to a Disney place for a bit! for Waldo!! Does he realize how big of a fan club he has rooting for his quick recovery? ;)

I love silly cat stories. Mine is a wack job sometimes. If there is any plastic bag in his reach he WILL find it while I am sound aslep and rub on it and make all kinds of noise! what a PITA. LOL.

Did you see my comment about Visalia last night???

I'm not joking. These are our trucks.

Anything Camo is ok by me! I used to wrestle in colored camo pants LOL.

Our local discount store had $10 crocs-I got the Adaras in silver/lavendar and the pink/khaki mickey beaches.

Nice buy! I saw some of the prima crocs for $15 here but they squished my toes too much so i didn't buy 'em.
