Happy Saturday Fockers.

Spent the day with Murph and we ended up trying Greek restaurant that opened last year near my house. It was so good, I took the Baklava home as I wa so full.

So how are all the Fockers, I do miss posting regularly around here.

So my foot surgery seems all set for this Friday, I hope no more delays, since at this point it would have to be June and then I would have to go for another pre op physical. Oh and T would have push me around in a wheelchair when I am at Disneyland in May;)

If T is around, when Murph was here earlier she was snooping and saw my bags and was asking if I was already packed, as you know I am sort of already. Murph did this:rolleyes:

I hope all is well with my favorite Dis'sers. I truly do miss being here more.:grouphug:

OK, I started a pre trip report on the DL trip report boards, see link in siggie.

Hope to see you all there;)

Hi everyone - I found the focker watch many years ago and purchased a lime green lanyard that I wear to the park every year we go.
Hi :wave2: Stay and chat :goodvibes

She was on TBS for 2 seconds this morning.
Did you see me? :rotfl2: I answered your case ? elsewhere :rotfl2:

Good luck sweetie and we miss you too

This is me waiting for something to chat about :bored:

Hi All! :wave2: Kind of a wasted day, but in a good way. I haven't gotten any of my cleaning done (as Scarlet O'Hara says tomorrow is another day ::yes::). Jimy slept until 9:00AM. Can I get a :cheer2: and a :yay: for this. I haven't slwpt past 7:00am since he was born. We went to playground for a couple of hours and he ran around for a couple of hours. We stopped at Mc'D's for lunch on the way home and he watched Power Rnagers RPM which we taped for him.

I then went to Michael's. Why did no one warn me about this place :faint: I went for one thing and spent $70, and didn't get the one thing I went for:sad2: They didn't have the patches I needed so I wound up at Joann's Fabrics and spent another $40. I got lots of stuff for Jimmy's craft box and some stuff to try and make an autograph book for Jimmy for our trip. We'll see how that works out:rolleyes1

Mo - you checked in :yay: Is your surgery one day or will you be in the hospital overnight!:confused3

HI guys

Janet - my surgery is out patient, I'm scheduled for 9 am and should be home by the afternoon. I can't wait for it to be over, the numbness is now a burning numbness.

Will be thinking of you!

I'm here Jo :goodvibes

Of course you are:rolleyes: It figures!

Jimmy and I are watching the Lion King. I love Jeremy Irons as Scar!

Hi everyone - I found the focker watch many years ago and purchased a lime green lanyard that I wear to the park every year we go. We recently went to WDW and my second trip wearing my lanyard. While everyone stares at it, I have never had anyone approach me or say something about it. So I found a couple positives from this trip... a castmember asked about my landyard and told her of the DIS boards. Do you believe she had never heard of them?? :rotfl2:

I will continue on my trips to wear my landyard and I've also found a new use for it. Pin trading! Hope to one day find some of my team fockers at the parks.
:)

Glad you found us again... I'm Katt( that's with 2t's.. as we also have a Kat:rotfl:)

Sometimes I use my Green Lanyard for pins.. but I am usually the designated Unwanted Pin Holder lanyard :rotfl2:.
When is your next trip to the mother land ?? Maybe we can "stalk" you and your lanyard and say Hi. :rotfl2:

Katt's DD, SB, made the 'All Country Choir' and gets to sing the 'National Anthem' solo.:woohoo: Katt saw 'Knowing' and liked it.
... and it was INTENSE... just got back from "Witch Mountain" I like that one. A very good re-do/continuation .

Hey, I need some Focker opinions. I'm looking for a new suitcase. I have a Delsey 21" that I just love for my carry-on. I need a new bag for the checked clothing. I have an older Samsonite 29", hard case. It's too big for what I need and frankly I'm afraid it has seen better days.
Do you peeps have any preferences on hard verses soft side luggage? I'm looking at a Delsey helium 25" hard side. I found it for $103.99 and free shipping on suitcase.com. I think they have a soft side for about $95. I'd like to stay under $150.

I prefer the hardsides... they take a licking better.. but My American Tourister sofsides... have been banged around a lot in the past 5 years and still look good.
It is a 5 piece... we got for around 100.00 I think from KC Penney. Also snagged a Black Mickey Mouse version from the On-line Disney Store 2 years ago.. clearance for 65.00 ( 3 pieces)
I think it was a mistake... because right after I got mine.. the price went back up to 89.00:laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing: I have been saving it for Sarabeth probably this year for her Birthday.

OK, I started a pre trip report on the DL trip report boards, see link in siggie.

Hope to see you all there;)

I'll come by and say Hello

Let me get this straight - You live in the land of sunshine and you use self-tanner?:rotfl2:

Yes ma'am! I fried too many times as a kid, so I'm taking extra care of my skin now - SPF and hats all the way. Only way to get a glow going is through a bottle! :thumbsup2

I have to admit, I'm always drawn to hardside, but can never stomach the price. But my softsides have held up just fine, and I like the ability to expand coupled with lighter weight. Check ebags.com - they frequently run discounts and shipping deals. :thumbsup2

Miss you, too, Mo!

I'm okay with Michael's - never spent more than $20 and that was for art class supplies. But crafty things give me hives. :rotfl:

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

What a lovely, lazy day! :goodvibes I did go to Target for a few things, and worked out, but otherwise just bummed around.

If the weather holds, Gramma and I are heading to the Tampa Equestrian Festival tomorrow. Wish Leo could come with us! :guilty:

i just saw yesterday that disneyshopping.com had their 3 piece set on sale. I think it was 55

You could also try luggageonline.com they always had some pretty good deals. and dont forget to search for coupons before you check out. ;) The other day i found a 40% off coupons when i bought a purse. Score!

What do you get for the $1.99 breakfast Kat ??

Eggs, 3 strips bacon, potatoes, 3 french toast sticks. it was A LOT.

So did you like the Dime bar??? and cool view :thumbsup2

It was GOOD!!!

I could not handle living in such a big city as you Kat.. but you do have incredible opportunities to do and see things like "Lady Liberty". Sadly I will never see it in person.

I don't think i could live anywhere not near some type of city! The only places I ever really liked living were NYC and Vegas. Go figure.

Kat--neat pic of Liberty! but I was most impressed with the availability of parking!

LOL that made me laugh. It's not their main lot, there's a parking garage that might even be employee parking or something.

I will continue on my trips to wear my landyard and I've also found a new use for it. Pin trading! Hope to one day find some of my team fockers at the parks. :)

Hi! Stay and chat with us!!!

Happy Saturday Fockers.

Hey Stranger! Nice to see you!!! We are talking about Atlantic City in June- You in??

Of course you are:rolleyes: It figures!

Jimmy and I are watching the Lion King. I love Jeremy Irons as Scar!

I put on my Disney songs play list when we were cleaning the kitchen the other day and it has made me wanna go back and watch a bunch of Disney movies now! L:ion King os one of my FAVS!

*********************************

Well KC is off visiting the in-laws. I stayed home because Aunt Flo isn't really being very nice to me right now. So it's safer to stay here. Besides they just got Fios so he is going to be playing "Tech Support KC" and thats no fun to me.

Some of our stuff is finally selling- we sold the stereo this morning for $40 and a few people are interested in my old wrestling tees. I just want this carp out of my house!!! By tomorrow night i may just junk whats left, or leave it in our laundry room downstairs with a "free" sign on them. :confused3

So i'll be around tonight since I am home bound, gonna watch some DVR stuff and maybe Animal Cross for a bit. Now I'm off to make a tuna sammie and a salad for my dinner.

Happy Saturday Fockers!

Good luck with the surgery. I hope it heals quickly.

Yay! for sleep. I'm sorry I didn't warn you about Michael's. The same thing happens at Hobby Lobby too.

i just saw yesterday that disneyshopping.com had their 3 piece set on sale. I think it was 55

So far suitcase.com has had the best prices. I've checked Ebags, Luggageonline, and several others. I always look for coupons.:thumbsup2

Hey Katt, so far you are the only person that's for the hardside.:confused3 Some say they don't want the extra weight. I found out that the Delsey helium zip hardside weights less than the soft side. The only deminsional difference is that the soft side will expand 2" more. The soft side does have some external pockets but since it is a checked bag that doesn't concern me.

Thanks everyone for the input. I do appreciate it since I don't fly that often.

Can I pick "both" on the suitcase issue? My big suitcase (American Airlines) is soft-sided, but has worn well. However, my hardsided (Atlantic) carry-on has worn well. I like the hardsided for a carryon, as it's a lot easier to get in and out of the overhead bin.

I have 2 Samsonite bags circa 1981... If I take the time to clean ans polish those puppies... they look new.

I do not carry them anymore... I use the softsides... but 30+ years.. I'll choose the hardsides for durability. I doubt my Soft sides will be still going in 30 years. My Leather Samsonite ( 1986) look like Carp.. but are still useable.. go soft side... and pick ya up a set of Mickey's :teeth:

V - another thing in common, we can NOT go to Michael's together, I am so NOT crafty. I hear ya on the fake tanners too, with my oh so pale Irish/German skin, though if you look at the Fockerfest pics even the fake tanners don't help my legs much, my arms and face take to it much better, go figure.

kat - what's this about AC? I might be in? Details Focker!

Kristel - luggage, don't go cheap if you are checking it, I have learned it's worth spending the money. I got myself a Diane Von Furstenberg set

http://www.luggageguy.com/product_d...ct-3-Piece-Luggage-Set/-Available-in-2-Colors

I paid $250 for this set (I see the price has gone up), but it holds up great and is easy to spot on the carousel.

I think they are talking about Animal Crossing, but Kat and I were discussing a mini-FOcker meet in AC. I'd probably only come down for the day...unless I get a comp:rolleyes1

Hey Mo Riddle me this. I looked at National for a car rental (I even joined the emerald club on your recommendation:thumbsup2) and I am looking at rental cars for August. Haven't books ed anything yet, but just looking. ANyway I priced out our 10 days picking up/dropping at airport and just booking for the last 4 days of the trip picking up at WDW and returning to the airport. There was only a $30 difference.:confused3

I was talking Atlantic City this time. LOL. My birthday is June 23rd so maybe we can do it the weekend before (my bday is a tuesday). I have to get KC to get time off work but we'd prob stay a night or 2 depending on hotel prices. I would LOVE to see as many of you guys as possible!
