I will miss her - we've had a good visit.

Check back later!
:grouphug:

Morning everyone!
Well, I hope y'all have a good Thursday! I got my days right today because that means Friday is one day away and then comes glorious Saturday where we all get to sleep in. :woohoo:
I HEART SATURDAY!

And as of today... I'm down 6 pounds and actually bought a new bikini to WEAR IN PUBLIC!!!! I'm really, really proud of myself and had to share; it's not been easy, but so worth the hard work!
:worship::worship::worship:good job,V:worship::worship::worship:

Wowee, it's quiet here these days! At least I can keep up like this! :rotfl:

Morning! I'm back to work and trying to get going. I still have lingering head pain and feel like it could easily shift into migraine mode again. :headache: We're having weather issues, which always does this to me.

In other news, my new approach to getting in the shape I want is paying off! :yay: I was doing the Wii Fit plus lots of other strength work, in addition to some treadmill time, and just could not lose anything. After 5 weeks of that, I was beyond frustrated. Then I heard the little voice - it said "When all else goes to pot, you know where to go; back to the barre." Remember, I'm a former ballerina? Well, last time I was the size and shape I prefer, I wasn't doing anything with weights or muscle isolation; I was alternating dance or yoga with treadmill days. So that's what I've been doing for a couple weeks - treadmill one day, ballet or yoga the next, and so on - plus throwing my diet all over the place to keep my body from adjusting to any particular calorie count. And as of today... I'm down 6 pounds and actually bought a new bikini to WEAR IN PUBLIC!!!! I'm really, really proud of myself and had to share; it's not been easy, but so worth the hard work! :goodvibes

Hope everyone has a good Thursday! :grouphug: I'll check back in later...

Congrats!

CE, glad you and mom had a good visit! :goodvibes

V, awesome! :cool1: If you could channel some of your motivation this way. ;)

Hi, Mel, Lori & Hedy. :flower3:

I'm off to photography. This week it's some place I've never been, shocking! So I'll leave early to get there on time and end up sitting in the parking lot waiting on everyone else, and hoping it doesn't rain. ;)

Morning friends!

Just a quick post again before heading off for the day! Today's the last day before spring break, so starting tomorrow, I should have more time to chat (hopefully).

This morning, I'm getting my hair cut and then to the chiro and then DD5 has gymnastics (during which I'll do my only work out of the week!!!!). Then, after school, DD7 has a piano lesson. :scared: I'm tired just thinking about it. But the good news is that I get to sleep in tomorrow!!!! :cool1:

We're not doing anything for spring break this year. Just staying home. We'll probably hit the Children's Museum, the Indy Zoo and the living history place near our house. And the girls will probably convince me to take them to the Bounce Zone or someplace like that. Otherwise, we'll be chillaxin' (thanks, T) at home. I would like to get my family room/kitchen painted sometime this week, but we'll see if that happens!

Anyway, I'll check back later this afternoon! Hope everyone has a great day!

Hello all. Just a quick stop in since I needed to post a question about Universal for a friend. They asked me and I did not have a clue. I have never been to Universal.

Hope everyone is doing well and I am dreamn of a free dining trip with me, Bug, my brother, and his dd.

:tiptoe:

There ain't no way I'm catching up.

 Just wanted to say hello! :teeth:

Miss you Jen:hug:

Hi everyone!! Too much to quote, I hope everyone is doing well.

We did Bill's PT/OT evaluation for a new wheelchair. The therapist was a little too rough with Bill's left ankle and it is hurting now, so much that he asked for advil which he only does when he is in extreme pain :sad1:.

:hug:for Bill. Hope he is feeling better!

I've filled in all the holes this morning, well after I finally woke up at 9am  That's what happens when I'm here on my own :rotfl2: I'm just having a rest before going and sanding the walls then off to the supermarket and hopefully get a coat of paint on this afternoon. Because they're bare plaster (dry wall :confused3) it takes so long!!!!

Sounds like a fun day:rolleyes:

I'm up. But, I'm going back to bed in a minute! The plan is to hit the gym about 9 am. SD has an appt. with his psychiatrist this afternoon. First one in 3 months! It's just a check up to see how he's doing. (Which is GREAT!!!)

They say it's going to be 63 here today. Hmmmmm. We'll see.

MEL:banana:

So glad to hear the SD is doing well:goodvibes. It's supposed to hit 66 here today and the sun is actually supposed to come out. :thumbsup2

Off in about a half hour for my fun tennis class. Mom is taking me and dropping me off, so she can attend the school book fair with Woody. D is heading to the office, but is promising me he will be back so that I can take mom to the airport this afternoon. :guilty: I will miss her - we've had a good visit.

Check back later!

I'm always like that when my comes home too:hug:

Hi Margie!
=====================================================

Hey all. At work and shouldn't be too busy today...we'll see. Not much else going on. Jimmy's peach project is done and he has practiced it so much (he has to talk in front of the class) that i am sick of hearing about peaches:laughing:

Will check back later. Happy Thursday everyone!

Its supposed to be 70 here today so I have a feeling the kids and I will be outside a lot this afternoon. It was so nice yesterday that I did a little sunbathing with our dog.

Nice! We're supposed to hit 63, but it's not clearing up and it's still only 45, so I have my doubts.

::yes:: I do this, too.

Anyway, I'll check back later this afternoon! Hope everyone has a great day!

You, too. You're too busy! ;)

We got the baseball practice schedule. Get this (and we're talking all 1st and 2nd graders, here...)

Before the season starts, whenever they release the fields, the practices are going to be Thursday from 6:30 to 8:00 (too late, in my opinion. My kids still generally go to bed at 7:30, and they'll have to shower after baseball - they get so dusty...) and then Sat. afternoons from 12-2 (which is fine.)

But starting May 1st, when the games begin, there will be a weeknight game (no schedules yet), a Sat. game (time will vary), and practice Sunday mornings at 8:00 a.m. :faint:

Being heathens, ;), weekends are for SLEEPING IN. :headache: I am not thrilled.

But, the season also ends before school gets out (particularly with the many snow days) and so the summer isn't going to be carp, which is nice.

I can surely handle 10 weeks of this, right? :rotfl2:

Tennis was fun, on a different note, and now Mom is packing up and we're just hanging before she has to go. :thumbsup2

Wow! That's excessive to me! :scared: We have practice on Thursdays 5:30-6:30 and two games a week. They are either 5:30-6:30 or 6:30-7:30. If we have a game on Thursday, like we do tonight, we don't have practice.
I wonder if that's the league's requirements or if you have a super competitive coach?
There's no way I'd agree to Sundays, though, heathen or not. ;)

I think 8:00 is way too late. Jimmy would never make it. By 8:00 he is hitting the wall becasue he is so tired. 10 weeks is all his T Ball is too, but we only have Saturday's 9:30 - 11:30. Not too bad and our whole Saturday isn't screwed up!:thumbsup2

Just a quick hello to all before I get KC's butt out of bed and we head to the city for a day of strolling and shopping.

I had to pop on to write down a # of someone buying one of my sale things so I figured I just had to stop in here for a min!

Hopefully both people for the sales this mornign show up, then thats $80 in our pockets!

We watched a bootleg copy of Wolverine last night. I was a bit sad, I wanted it to be good but it was only MEH.

KC and I started talking about the Atlantic City trip, BTW so I should know more soon, or more I'll know if we can swing it financially.

Anyways, have a great Thursday all! :grouphug:

What color did you chose? Are we going to see pics?
Haven't done yet, still doing the under coats, yep coats as the walls are bare so it sucks the paint in :sad2:

I will miss her - we've had a good visit.
That's so sweet :goodvibes

Wow that's a lot!!!!

I managed to get all the sanding done and the first coat on :yay: It's only a little bathroom so why is it taking so long? :rotfl2:

Tomorrow Jess and I are playing golf, she's finished school for Easter, and we're going to do her first lot of 18 holes :thumbsup2

Wow that's a lot! Lindsey is only doing t-ball and her practice is Mondays from 5-6 (6:30 at the latest). I know games start the first weekend of May but don't have that schedule yet. I'm hoping they'll be done by the time they have to go with their father.

Anyways, have a great Thursday all! :grouphug:

Have fun going into the city with KC!

Quiet day here! I figured I'd have at least three pages to catch up on!

Well, spring break has officially started.... :sad2: and so has the bickering. Hopefully I can keep them busy so that they don't fight so much this week or else I'm going to be buying wine by the case! :rotfl2:

Right now they're playing Wii Sports. They were just boxing and now they're playing golf, I think. It's about time to get them to bed though. :yay:

=======================================================

Home from work. Jim, Jimmy, Tinkerbell and I went for a walk. They all wanted to walk some more, but I was actually getting a bit chilly so I left them and came home. They should be home for bath and bed.

Anyone going to watch ER tonight?

Let me know when you buy that wine by the case, I will drive over :lmao:.

Hi everyone, nothing to report here, it was pouring rain all day, that was real fun trying to get Bill in and out of the van for school with his laptop :sad2:.

UGGHHH.

I put it up on FB, but IF my dog comes back, I'm ready to kill him, anyway. :headache:

It's been a really bad week with him. And the only other time he ran away at night, my neighbor found him about 2 miles away, stuck on a tree (he was dragging a leash that time. He's not now.)

D made plans to go out, and wouldn't be able to see him in the dark, anyway - and I can't be out with two kids in bed upstairs.

Please don't get me wrong. I love him. But I'm really tired of having to act like we might be invaded every time I leave the house - his poor behavior there is getting worse - and then this kind of thing.

I opened the door to our neighbor girls - WITH THEIR DOG, whom he loves to play with, and didn't actively try to keep him from getting out, because almost always when someone is at the door and I'm inside, he goes out to greet them, but stays right there. So yes, it's my fault for not stopping him from going out, but he runs out on me and won't come back? Stays out for hours? I'm feeling guilty, but I'm also just p$**ed.

Tomorrow, I'll probably be crushed if he's not back, but right now I'm just mad.

****************************************************
On a different note...

I loved ER for years, but haven't watched in many years, either.

But I feel like I need to see the end. The clip show is practically making me cry. :rotfl:I don't know if I'll watch the 2 hour show, but I wanted to see the retrospective.
