Hello everyone. I am done for the semester except for a few more hours of student teaching. I was so sick and just now feeling better. I am still needing a nap each day. My teacher saved me by giving me an extension for the student teaching. Next semester starts April 6 the same week the kids are out for Spring Break.
Nana and I are going to go look for a dress for her this Saturday. I am thinking of going into Fort Wayne or Chicago for this big event.
I will jump in but please let me know if I am missing something big in anyones life.

Fort Wayne or Chicago??? I grew up in Fort Wayne and I would definitely vote Chicago all the way! :rotfl2:

Sorry kids, work has been nuts tonight.

Z missed a meeting early this morning. I could tell she was all tore up about it.

Mel is leaving early Wed. for WDW. Dawn sent a text. Met Jen M and JV Jen. Her Gus is a sensitive guy right now.

Katt needs surgery on her other knee. She told the doc not during Disney season. She is getting over an ear infection. She only rode 1 ride at BG.

Jodie is busy with taxes and PTO stuff. She had a headache just thinking about it!

CE and D made an offer on a boat. pirate:D is overseas and Mom is coming to visit. She is still waiting on the kindle.

V got a new Iphone.

Janet is waiting for a report card for Jimmy. She reports that the characters will be back LTT in Sept.
How'd Jimmy do???

Rosie is having trouble with her knee too. Probably too much bum kicking.

Jo is bored when she has to scratch golf. She can't do flat and straight.:rotfl2: She did save a tent from being blown away today.

Lori is glad the weekend is over and ex is back where he belongs. :woohoo:

Cel Bel is a compulsive planner. No wonder she fits in over here. She loves her Iphone.

Kat needs advice on sleeping aids. She is still having a lot of trouble.:flower3:
Good luck with the cleaning and redecorating. Nothing I ever tried for sleep worked for me. I didn't want to do any 'script stuff.

Mo got her freebie from US. She is looking for hotels. 61 more days.

MrsKS gets nightmares when she takes Advil PM.:maleficen She is already gettin' geared up for WDW and it is still a few months off. :thumbsup2

G-Luv checked in. She met the other Jen and Dawn. I think she liked them. She is streaming video of the savannah from her room. The link is listed above #1476.

Dreamin' semester is done. She has some make-up student teaching. Her next semester starts April 6th. Her kids will be off school that week.:sad2:

I'm sorry it's been hard. Hope the rest of the day is better.

I did mop the bathroom and have done a bunch of laundry, but mostly now I'm addicted to that darn Bejeweled game on FB. Thanks, Jo. :rolleyes1 :lmao:

Thanks CE. :goodvibes And I did end up having a better day than this morning. I'm not a morning person at all and when I have my mind set to do one thing and then it goes wrong I get cranky.

Afternoon all. A quick drive by while inhaling my lunch. Hope everyone is having good day.

 Hi Janet! Hope you had a good afternoon and evening!

Thanks Jo. :goodvibes

Lori: sorry you kept getting bothered over the weekend and this morning.

Thanks Z. :goodvibes

My Orthopedic Surgeon said I need Knee surgery on my OTHER KNEE... :upsidedowOh BOY !!:scared: Uh sorry I can not do that one right now. Vacations and WARM WEATHER in a MISERABLE leg brace in the heat :scared1:.[/FONT]

 Glad your BP is down a little as well and also the ear infection is healing.

Hi to everyone and hope to stop by more...

 Hi Mo!

Sorry about the Ex. He's a butthead, eh?
I did read your post and wonder if they are going to censor "god" though....

Thanks Mel. And yes, butthead would just be the tip of the iceberg in what he is. Some days I don't mind it and other days he gets on my last nerve. :sad2:

Hi from WDW!

I met two of the most wonderful ladies today.

Jen and Dawn. Two true gems. I'm so lucky to have such wonderful Focker friends.

I forgot to tell y'all...I'm streaming live from Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's off for the night...but y'all can see out to the savannah from my room live on the internet.

Here's the link...

The crowds are HUGE. Havin' a wonderful time. Love and miss y'all.

 Hi Jen and Jon! Glad that you all are having a great time and I'll have to check out your link. I was just asking Lindsey where she would like to stay next time we go to Disney and was showing her the Animal Kingdom.

 Hi Margie!

Just checking in.....

It's been a crazy day here. And I've still got plenty to keep me busy. At some point this week, I must finish our taxes. And I've got a big PTO meeting tomorrow, so I need to get the financials done for that! ARGHH!!!

Right now I've got a headache and just want to go to bed, so that's what I'm doing. Talk to you all tomorrow morning! :flower3:

 Hi Jodi! Sorry about the headache.

My day did end on a better note than this morning. I at least have my kiddos back in the house with me. They were only gone for 2 days and I even spent a good chunk of the day with them yesterday, but I still missed them and not having them around.

I did learn a lesson though and to set boundaries with the ex when he is in town and doesn't have his girlfriend with him. I don't necessarily have to let him know my plans but I can at least say do not call and do not text unless it is a true emergeny.

I know in the past he has gotten mad at me if I have called to much or texted him while he's had the kids. I have really worked hard on it and have really let go of the control I have on them when he is with them. (And I wouldn't really say control just more like how I would do things vs. how he would do things, kwim?) I now need to put my foot down when he's now doing it to me while he's to be spending time with his kids.

Trial and error. LOL It'll be interesting how our summer will be. This will be the first one since our divorce was finalized and he's actually in the US.

Hey guys!

So I thought that I was addicted to Pet Society, well that doesn't even come close to my new addiction to Sorority Life, so much fun!

Well, I'll be gone for 4 days coming up soon. Figured I'd better post first (or second since Lessa was first!) while I can.

No news. Watched Heroes last night. Finally they seem to be getting back on to the path they were on when they started this show! I didn't like last season AT ALL....

I'm finishing my last minute packing today. Coloring my hair, taking Gus in to the Dr. probably. He's still complaining about his ears. I also have to pick up a prescription for SD and call to confirm my hotel stuff. Any suggestions for locations at Coronado? Did someone say they've renovated some rooms?

MEL:banana:

MEL:banana:

I do know that they have renovated MOST of the rooms... and they have Queen beds now:banana:. That's WHY we were staying there in June.. till I took a friend up on his offer of a week at another timeshare offsite for 200 for the WHOLE WEEK. :yay:.( Just the "fees" charge")
So no Disney in June which I am fine with. Gives us an opportunity to do SOMETHING ELSE in Florida.

I would imagine any room you get WILL be renovated. You can also check on their site somewhere and see IF they have "Conventions scheduled" while you are there. We did that and notice the week we were planning to get there... they have 1 for CPA Certification. They USUALLY have those guys( convention people) around one particular section of the building so I have been told. UNLESS they have a BUNCH of different ones there

We went to see my son today and took our dog with us. My son lives in the country with many dogs, Ace our furbaby, really enjoyed his visit. He is passed out under the coffeetable now. :lmao:

Sounds like fun!

Hey CE! How you doing? Glad you are finally getting your Kindle and how exciting about the boat!

::yes:: No word from them yet, though, about the offer.

For dinner tonight I made Beef Satay with a spicy peanut dipping sauce! Yum. Got rave reviews from all the boys! That's always good. I can add it to my repertiore.

Sounds awesome!

He's such a great kid, and sensitive, but it's going to be a real hindrance to him come middle school next year!

i never used any features on my phone or even texted. i also didnt really use my ipod very much because it was another thing to lug around. now that i have it all in one device i use i constantly and everything is really easy to use! i use every feature my phone offers now. I dont feel like im paying for something i dont use or have too many useless functions. I think if you already use your ipod and a kindle, the iphone would be a perfect way to combine everything. ;)

Thanks, Sam. :) I use my iPod a ton - it's my car music, alarm clock, entertainment whilst sitting waiting on my kids' lessons, etc. So... We'll see.

Hi from WDW!

I met two of the most wonderful ladies today.

Jen and Dawn. Two true gems. I'm so lucky to have such wonderful Focker friends.

Hi, Jen! Glad you're having fun!

Off to bed. Another work day tomorrow, but it shouldn't be too bad so I will probably be able to check in with you all.

Night night!

Hi, bye! :wave2:

Right now I've got a headache and just want to go to bed, so that's what I'm doing. Talk to you all tomorrow morning! :flower3:

Hope the headache's gone!

My day did end on a better note than this morning.

Oh, good. :)

Hey guys!

So I thought that I was addicted to Pet Society, well that doesn't even come close to my new addiction to Sorority Life, so much fun!

Hi, Lessa!

******************************************************
Hi!

I stayed up until a little after 1:00, finishing my first Kindle book. (A J.D. Robb that I hadn't bought because I was waiting on the Kindle.)

It's really cool. It works well, doesn't strain the eyes, the book downloaded in maybe 20 seconds... Because it works on the wireless phone network, rather than a Wi-Fi, the "basic web browser" looks more like a cell phone browser, so I think I'd need to use the "mobile" sites, but I need to play with that more.

It can play music as you read, or will read the books out loud to you (not something I would use, but still...)

So, it's really cool. The problem is going to be limiting myself - even though the books are cheaper, I can't go purchasing one a day or anything. The book I read last night is only available in hardback now, and I paid $9.99 for it, so they are deals - but I want to get 5 books right now, and that adds up, and I would never go buy myself 5 hardbacks in a week, if that makes sense. ;)

There are a ton of classic books that are really cheap or free, (and books that are out in paperback can be had cheaper, too) so that could be cool, and a way to load it up a bit without going crazy. :rotfl:

I have my tennis team practice this morning, then probably need to go grocery shopping. I'll be back later, though - hope everyone has a good start to their day!

Good morning!

Well, I've got no plans until 5pm today, so I'm feeling good. Gotta run to Wal-Mart and buy Bolt on DVD sometime today, but otherwise, nothing!

Maybe I'll work on taxes. I definitely have to do the PTO financials, but that will take me less than 30 minutes. DD5 wants to go to the Children's Museum, but I honestly don't see that happening today. We may go on Saturday with the entire family.

Anyway, I'm off to get DD7 ready for school. I hope everyone has a great day!!!:flower3:

Morning! Another day at work, wishing I was at WDW.

Any suggestions for locations at Coronado? Did someone say they've renovated some rooms?

Yep, all of Cabanas are renovated, and parts of Ranchos and Casitas. Try for Cabanas - they're really pretty and you'll be guaranteed a newly-refurbished room. :thumbsup2

Good Morning everyone. Jimmy got a good report card. All 3's out of 4's for the academic stuff. Only a 1 for gym though:rolleyes: Some of the things that were Needs Improvement last report are now Satisfactory:thumbsup2 Still a few NI's, but those are the things we are working on and I figure you can't change everything at one time. Overall Jim and I are happy:thumbsup2

I'm with v on the at work but wishing I was at WDW, or anywhere else for that matter. Today in the newspaper they had the doom and gloom report for the courts. Read here if you are interested in the worse possible case scenario for my jobhttp://www.philly.com/dailynews/local/20090324_Court_official__Planned_cuts_may_bring_closures__risks.html

It's always a good day when you do not get a note saying... CONFERENCE... NEEDED Good job Jimmy.

I did find this line somewhat amusing... "Courts will be closed - unless the tooth fairy comes and give us money"

I imagine THAT SCENE will be playing out every where. It did not even dawn on me that the police officer in court could POSSIBLY be on vacation or day off, and that would lead to overtime pay. :sad2:Hold on to your knickers.. cause it WILL NOT GET BETTER.. Trust me.

Here in Va VDOT has a lot of things they are cutting back on.. BUT the ABSURD one is CLOSING REST AREA'S:eek: Several right here in my area. Saying that people can roll of the exits and visit the towns. Stop in and possibly generate a little more revenue for local businesses.
Uh.. some of the "towns" are several MILES off the exit... and you might not want to plant your Bottom line on their Services IYKWIM;).

Whew.. busy morning again... had an IEP with Joshua @ 8:00 this morning. Had no time to make his lunch BEFORE I went so I had to go back and take it to him.

Scott has this BIG ACCOUNT that he is putting a proposal down for. Over 200 Npa-Nxx's ( phone #'s) to input, and calculate what we can save them. So I have to help out with something . Usually if Scott get the opportunity to bid we GET the business as he generally saves a company 45% sometimes as much as 75% just depending on the product they were on that they did not need.

This company was not PLANNING to do any Telephony changes... but the economy has him rethinking. He is a "Trucking Company" and Trucking Companies are NOT on the roads like they were a year ago, or even 6 months ago. We have a couple that are clients... and their traffic is way down. It would be a nice account to have. HUGE Financial blessing for our family. Like Double what we currently make.

Scott's commission is down 2000.00 a month from just 60 months ago. So we see businesses cutting back and some even closing.

Got to go... phones are crazy and got stuff to do. Back in a bit.:cool2:

Hey guys - I'm having this almost irresistible urge to book a breakfast while we're at WDW this summer. We don't normally EVER do bfast, because V's not awake enough to get anywhere without coffee and food, so we eat in-room. ;) But I'm thinking of giving it a shot...

Any suggestions? NOTE: No buffets. I might manage to get us somewhere, but I sure as heck can't handle that much effort to get food, lol! Is there any place in the parks that does bfast without a buffet?

Janet? :hug::hug::hug:

Do you want a character meal? O'Hana is great for that. It's family style.

No characters - Kona I hear is fabulous for breakfast.

Boatwrights - Oop, nope they don't serve breakfast anymore.

Thanks V!

Katt - I was soooo excited when we got the note home checked saying that the teacher DIDN"T need to see us:yay::yay: Good luck to Scott with the bid!:wizard:

Was that supposed to be funny? LOL....
Sorry it was boring, but it's cool to be chosen, right?
Yep I was being sarcastic :rotfl2:And yep I'mproud I've been chosen!

Hi from WDW!
Hi Jen :wave2:

becasue of Jo I have been over on fb playing bejewelled. I thought I had gotten rid of that particular addiction:rolleyes1

Not in the parks but the Stitch brekkie at the Poly is good!

Windy day here today, played OK golf, it was a bring and win today so basically everyone brings a prize and the winner chooses first then second place etc. I chose a hellebore (garden plant) which was very pretty, I came about 8th out of 29 so OK!

Jo---you got a hella-bore? We probably need a picture of that!

Katt---yes it's me! How was your trip??
I never made it to salem as we were sick. :sad1: But I'll make it there some day and we'll meet!:thumbsup2

Hey don't blame me :rotfl2:

Why? I gotta blame somebody:rolleyes1

Fantastic!!!

::yes:: Thanks Jo!

That article is interesting. I hope something works out relatively well.

Got to go... phones are crazy and got stuff to do.

Good luck with it! :)

Hey don't blame me :rotfl2:

I blame you, too. ;) ::yes::

Wow that could get expensive, how many books does it hold?

They say it can take over 1500 books! :faint:

It's windy here, too, but it's still barely above freezing. I'm really done with winter.

Congrats on winning the plant. :)

Evening all. Got Jimmy into bed and becasue of Jo I have been over on fb playing bejewelled. I thought I had gotten rid of that particular addiction:rolleyes1

I didn't even know you could play those games on fb?! I have hacked versions of a million of them on my pc so it never occurred to me.

Off topic Janet but is Camp Hill, PA anywhere near you? Magic Meets is there this year and we are thinking of going, i thought you guys might wanna come too?! KCs boss runs it.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Well I sort of slept last night. I stayed busy and moving all day and finally around 1am I layed down and passed out almost instantly. I slept till about 6am and was kinda awake but stayed in bed and was in and out of sleep until after KC left (around 9am) then I got up.

I even went to the deli and got some bread for meatball heroes tonight and some stuff for a salad to go with it. I exchanged some plate holders I bought the other day that were too big AND went for breakfast at Dunkin Donuts!

Is this how normal people live? LOL. I usually sleep through the am hours!

I'm working on the closets today and trying to get a hold of everyone who wanted the stuff I am selling...otherwise it's going on freecycle. I can't look at the pile of carp any longer.

Anyways Happy Tuesday Kids!
