Jo---you got a hella-bore? We probably need a picture of that!

Katt---yes it's me! How was your trip??
I never made it to salem as we were sick. :sad1: But I'll make it there some day and we'll meet!:thumbsup2

Hi Te :wave2:

That's great! Yay for Jimmy!!! :goodvibes We have teacher conferences again next week (we go 1st and 3rd quarters, problems or not.)

Thanks CE:goodvibes

That article is interesting. I hope something works out relatively well.

I'm taking the wait and see attitude and not getting stressed until they actually decide what they are going to do!

Off topic Janet but is Camp Hill, PA anywhere near you? Magic Meets is there this year and we are thinking of going, i thought you guys might wanna come too?! KCs boss runs it.

Less than 2 hours:cool1::cool1: Give me details!:banana::banana::banana:

Congrats Jimmy!!!:thumbsup2

Thanks kat!:goodvibes

I came about 8th out of 29 so OK!
Sounds pretty darned good to me! :cheer2:
Not in the parks but the Stitch brekkie at the Poly is good!
That's 2 votes for O'Hana V:thumbsup2 Great minds think alike Jo ::yes::
Ooops, forgot to say "no characters" in my notes! V can't handle characters when fully awake - half asleep might be very, very dangerous for the critters. :rotfl:

I could manage the monorail over to the Poly for Kona, or I was looking at the Wave menu, too. Decisions, decisions...

Well I sort of slept last night. I stayed busy and moving all day and finally around 1am I layed down and passed out almost instantly. I slept till about 6am and was kinda awake but stayed in bed and was in and out of sleep until after KC left (around 9am) then I got up.
Yay! :yay:

:wave2: Hi Leesa, Mel, Jodi, Rosie, Jo & Kat!

CE - The Kindle sounds so neat! Does it only let you download so many books until you have to delete some? This sounds something my dad would like and his 60th birthday is coming up in May. I may have to put some thought into that one.

Janet - That is awesome about Jimmy's report card! He's in Kindy right? Linds will be getting hers on Friday.

Katt - Good Luck to Scott with the bid! My babysitter's husband is in the trucking business (they sell truck parts and fix big rigs) and they are barely holding on in this economy. Heck, I think any type of small business is really trying to hold on.

V - My suggestion would be O'hanas as well. Or Kona Cafe since I've heard they do have a good breakfast.

***********************************************

DR and I haven't really done much today besides play with all his new toys, watch TV and clean up some. I do have laundry to do but that can wait until a little later. No big plans for tonight other than getting a walk in, kids a bath and watch some TV.

It's August 7-9 (fri to sun). KCs boss runs it. There is all kinds of cool stuff they do over the weekend. I'll get more info from KC today and let you know. They offer discount hotel rates for the hotel it's in if you wanna stay the weekend. The tix go on sale in April. You can check magicmeets.com.

Anyone else interested????

I think so. But kind of like iTunes and an iPod, they back up everything you buy on amazon.com, and I think you can choose what to "sync" if you hook it up to the computer. You don't have to hook it up, though - you can buy things wirelessly. :thumbsup2

I didn't think you wanted characters...I didn't know the Wave had breakfast...Hmmm decisions!

::yes:: Kindergarten.

I leave for WDW on the 9th...BUT a little day trip on Saturday sounds like it might be doable. :thumbsup2

Hey everybody! :goodvibes Just a quick drive by before I start to get the boys fed and ready for soccer tonight.

I saw Jimmy did great on his report card :thumbsup2 Nice job, Janet.

And I saw Kat got some much needed sleep.

And...I need Kristel. :lmao:

When is Angela due back from her cruise?

Oh! And Mel! Have a wonderful time

Since V was planning...she got me thinking about my plans and how Jimmy LOVES Stitch and would be disppointed to not see him this year (after we cancelled at the last minute last year) so I have tweaked a bit of my plan.

I have quick question though. I know ADR's are 90 days now. DOes that include the Dinner shows too (HDDR)? Think I am going to give Dining a call and see if i can at least book that one. I thought I had read that it was remaining at 180 days:confused:

Here is my latest ADR list

Garden Grill (Dinner with Chip and Dale)
Boma (Dinner)
Chef Mickey's (Dinner)
50's Prime Time (Can't decide between Lunch and Dinner - leaning towards lunch to get out of the heat in the middle of the day:confused3)
HDDR (Earliest Show)
EDITED TO SAY O'Hana (Breakfast - No Tonga Toast for Me)
I dropped Crystal Palace.

Oh! And Mel! Have a wonderful time

Thanks Kate!

I thought I quoted V....darn. Thanks for the tips on Coronado. I called and requested the Cabanas! :thumbsup2

My hair is "ungray" and I'm totally packed. Just need to speed time up a little bit and things will be great! :goodvibes The boys are playing video games so I have a bit of quiet. Took Gus to the Dr. this afternoon. He's got sinusitis and some fluid in his ears. Dr. gave him some antibiotics and told me to give him Zyrtek to help with the drainage. Blech! Poor kid.

I am READY for a vacation. Whew. I went to the gym this morning. I am really proud of myself for sticking with it even when it would have been WAY easier to NOT go.

See you guys later maybe, if not, see you Sunday!!!

MEL:banana:

I'm so jealous of all of you either in the World or headed there! I need a vacation!!!!

Oh well, I'm off to PTO meetings tonight. We've got our big festival on Friday night. It's always crazy, but fun for the kids.

Took DD5 to Target and bought Bolt this afternoon. I love that movie! We've already watched it once.

Hope everyone has a great night! If I don't talk to you before you leave, Mel, have a wonderful trip and drink a Lapu for me! In fact, can Flat Jodi go along again???

I'm not going until August and then when I come back you will be getting ready for Ip Dip!:thumbsup2

Darn! I requested Casitas, wonder if I can change the request? :rolleyes1

Ya think;)

Hi guys!! Just a quick drive-by. :flower3:

Hi Z :wave2:
====================================================

Evening all. Just home from Shawmont Night at McDonald's. It's a great fundraiser for the Home and School. They get 10% of all sales between 4:00pm and 7:00pm. It was a madhouse thought :faint:. Imagine buinches of overtired kids running around and hyped up becasue all their friends are there :scared1: Jimmy had fun though so I guess that's all that matters ::yes::

Not much planned for the rest of the evening. I'll check back in later:goodvibes

Have to share my interviewing experience with my Fockes !!!!!:lmao:

Interviewed this "person":confused3 who had female clothes, a wig that moved during the interview, :laughing:pencilledin eyebrows etc etc , kinda a husky but feminine voice !:scared1: Now there I sit across the table trying to respectfully look at "person" We are not allowed to ask many things (by law) such as race and male or female !! We left the later blank as we weren't sure !!!:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
I toldthe HR director she needed to add a box ....UNSURE!!!!!

PS we liked all the answers and put the application thru but that wig and the boxes we had to check were too much for us ! I don't care what they are I would just like to be able to check the right box !!

Hey guys - I'm having this almost irresistible urge to book a breakfast while we're at WDW this summer. We don't normally EVER do bfast, because V's not awake enough to get anywhere without coffee and food, so we eat in-room. ;) But I'm thinking of giving it a shot...

Any suggestions? NOTE: No buffets. I might manage to get us somewhere, but I sure as heck can't handle that much effort to get food, lol! Is there any place in the parks that does bfast without a buffet?

My vote is for kona cafe. But if you want something in the parks, they have breakfast at some of the quick service places. In AK pizzafari serves a pretty good breakfast. No characters, and no reservations too.

******************

T look away.....

I still haven't packed. :rolleyes1

We leave very very early on Thurs.

I am so ready for this vacation, I need to just get away. I have so much crap in my life right now that I know being in WDW will help. :goodvibes
