I have to tell you a funny story that happened to me this morning. Sometimes when I get to DD5's preschool in the morning, the doors aren't opened yet. So, I brought a book along with me this morning to read while waiting in the parking lot. After dropping DD5 off at school, I was headed to the bank to deposit some Girl Scout cookie money. I just missed the turn light, so as I was sitting at the light, I pulled out my book. Well, I wasn't paying attention to the light and it turned, so the person behind me honked. As I made the turn, I realized that there was a sheriff right beside me and he turned on his lights.

That's right, I got pulled over for reading at a stoplight!!!!

He told me that it was dangerous to read and that I was just as impaired as a drunk driver. Of course, I did explain that I wasn't reading while driving and that I was sitting at a pretty long red light, but oh well, I got off with a warning. I'm not sure what he would have written a ticket for anyway.... let's see, reading while sitting in your car..... is that really against the law?? Funniest thing is that the sheriff that pulled me over looked to be all of 18 years old. Of course, he had a gun, so I did call him "Sir."
Anyway, I hope everyone is enjoying their snowy Monday!
