Tonight I am going to watch tv with my boys and then spend a little quality time with Mr. Bob. He's leaving town tomorrow until Thurs.

See, I LOVE mine - got the new kitchen last year, you know.

Now it does seem like the water that dripped around is in fact starting to refreeze. D in his logic has decided it was probably open. He says if it was closed all day, but broken, and I really wasn't in and out of it, even if it failed the stuff shouldn't have melted. He says it had to have been open for the stuff to melt.

We'll see - I just have to be patient and not keep opening it to check every 5 minutes!

Thanks! Yes, he was really really nice. I thought he might be a real jerk, but nope! DH told him about the twins birth during Hurricane Floyd and that DS11 was conceived during Fran. Jim asked what kind of activities we had planned for the evening.

I don't know if it just didn't get shut or if it's broken. I moved stuff out and put in a water bottle to see if it freezes.

The ice cream is all gone. The meat didn't seem thawed, so I moved it downstairs.

We got the good protection plan on it, but I really hope it's not broken, 'cause I just don't want to deal with it.

Hope it's not broke. DIdn't you just get that when you refinished the kitchen

Judy had an interview at work for a new job within the company, 2 big bosses asked her to apply. She would be ins sales/customer service and she hasan awesome reputation with the customers . She would have her own office, would get a smallsalary increase but every 3 months a bonus check based on her sales . If she gets it , Disney will be paid for next year with bonus money! She is soooo excited as she thinks the interview went very well. The only problem could be her current boss might not let her go as she is so NEEDED where she is !! Please keep her in your prayers as she sooo wants this !! Let's hope the Pixie Dust spreads this way!!!

DH is under explicit instructions to text Dawn as soon as he talks with the doctor, so hopefully he'll do so. I don't know when I'll feel up to posting, but hopefully within a few days.

Well, I had my brother, sister-in-law, and my two nieces over for dinner. Only...I couldn't enjoy it because Jon had a 'tude night.

It has been a long time since I felt the need to ground him. But, I had to tonight.

I asked him to do something, and he immediately got attitude. Which he has been doing lately. I told him last time that the next time I asked him to do something and he copped a tude, I was grounding him. Which I did. Momma follows through.

He then begged and cried, which only ticked me off even MORE...

So then I had to threaten him within an inch of his life.

And I couldn't even sit down and enjoy my dinner with my family.

Then he apologizes, on his own...which that's good. EXCEPT, he expected me to forgo his punishment because he was sorry.

Let me think about that for a minute...NO!

I finally put him to bed 1/2 an hour early.

Kids. And their tudes. Ruined my dinner.

Not all of us... before my surgery I had to do a 48 hour fast and a special prep the night before. I didn't want anyone around, but my mom insisted on coming. She, no lie, ate 4 snacks in front of me in an hour and a half! I finally went upstairs so I didn't have to see her eat.

I haven't watched the news, but I heard Ike turned and is heading towards Houston now. I'm near San Antonio, so I shouldn't get much more than rain and wind. We'll see. I have to go see what the 10 o'clock news says.

Mel: We're fine we are feeling the outer bands of Ike's winds and I'm so glad he didn't hit, because the winds are sorta strong.

Yes, Yani is a good friend she was feeling crappy that weekend in Disney though. I miss snow. You know you're always free to escape to Miami when the ILs arrive.

Ok, I'm off. Gonna watch some HGTV or watch a movie.

Just watched the first episode of True Blood. It totally drew me in, can't wait for more episodes to come out. Now I need to go find the books it is based off of.
