That would be fun, but we go there so much it wouldn't be special. :confused3

So, you're saying that our presence wouldn't make it special for you??:confused3

Morning, Jodi! :goodvibes

It isn't in the 100s. It's about 93 everyday here now. Also- there's less humidity here than Florida. We're just like Florida, weather-wise.

You remember, though, Dawn, that I don't go to Florida in the summertime. It's just too hot for this northerner! I'd rather go between October and March!

PR = Project Runway

Yes, I have no life. ;)

Thanks, V. I was trying to figure it out, but I just couldn't get it. I've never gotten into those shows. I do, however, love some reality shows -Top Chef and Amazing Race to name a few!

Okay, so the no TV rule is getting old already. DD4 is playing on my computer right now. I grabbed a quick shower and then we've got to go to the bank before my haircut at 11:30. I'm thinking that if she behaves during my haircut, I might give her TV back this afternoon.

Love her! Really, I love her looks on film, but not so sure about the walk - it's still a bit manly, y'know? She's definitely good for the drama in the house.

Especailly with the Christina girl from SC...there is going to be drama with that

I thought her pictures were great though. I think NIgle was a little surprised when J told him. SHould make for an interesting season ::yes::

Good MOrning everyone. Hope you are all having a good day. Is Jo off playing golf?

LAst night I went to the party store and picked up the last minute stuff for Jimmy's birthday party. Unfortunately the weather isn't going to cooperate and it is going to rain the whole day:headache: 11 kids stuck in my house for 3 hours:scared1:

Today I have Jimmy and his friend Matt and they curretnly playing Power Rangers so I have a few minutes to Dis, until they come to me and say can you put this together.:headache: We have to pick up Matt's sister Rose from school at 2:48.

I have to finish up the laundry and turn the basement more party friendly since it looks like we will be stuck in the house and on the covered patio on Saturday. Tonight we have our first parent night.

11 kids in the house janet???? :worship:

so, janet, are you still on vacation??? it's nice being off work isnt' it?? i only have 4 more shifts, then i'm off for 15 days!!! i soo need it. when do you go back?

dawn, i saw schlez..... (can't spell it :lmao: ) on the travel channel! it looks like so much fun!!!

mel-- any word yet from sd??? hang in there

jodi-- how are you feeling??

lori--- bday cake and mountain dew!!! i bet you will crash around noon from that sugar high!!!!!:lmao: sounds like what i need to get energized! :rotfl:

angela-- is it still rainy in orlando???

All this Williamsburg talk is making me want to plan another visit down to Virginia Beach. :cutie: Williamsburg is so much fun! Colonial Williamsburg is so fun to walk around in, the outlet shopping is great and then of course there is Busch Gardens! :woohoo: I love BG, so much fun and the coasters are great!

i agree!! i haven't been to williamsburg since i was a kid. i want to take my kids, but waiting till they're a little older.

I'd be happy to meet in Williamsburg! :thumbsup2 We have family there so a great excuse to see them and you all! But only when it's not too cold. I only have summer clothes, you know. :rolleyes1

Yeah, Yeah. Rub it in Angela!!! :goodvibes

School's hard, huh? My heart is breaking for what Sara and SD are going through right now. Homeschooling is great, but it's not the solution to everything. If B was having panic attacks, I'd still need to help her even though she's home -same with bullies.

Thanks Dawn. I think if it was bullies it would be easier! :confused3

Like I told Kat during FF, it sounds better than calling him my Lovah

OMG, how can they ask that?!

Ha! Lovah Boy!

I know. But, they really do have a reason for doing it that way! I feel way better, see below for why!

Thanks, V. I was trying to figure it out, but I just couldn't get it. I've never gotten into those shows. I do, however, love some reality shows -Top Chef and Amazing Race to name a few!

Sd and I watched Amazing Race last night! We loved it! Who's your favorite team? We liked the dreadlock guy and his girlfriend and the brother/sister team...

mel-- any word yet from sd??? hang in there
No, but hopefully I won't ....

where's katt?? she's usually here in the morning??

Uh, she was here at the crack of early!

HI V!!

Ok, so I met with the school social worker this morning. We went over the WHOLE big deal with SD and the call yesterday, the psychologist/psychiatrist issues, the meds we haven't started yet, the anxiety....all of it.

He was SOOOOO great!!! He said, "they pay me to make sure that SD will have a successful and productive school experience. We will work VERY hard to make sure that he has what he needs."

THANK GOD

They will talk with his teachers, fix his schedule, provide him with a quiet safe place to calm down if he has issues, talk with him and meet with him if he wants to and none of this will count against his attendance. Most importantly, they will be the buffer between me and SD so that he doesn't NEED to come home and miss classes!!! I feel WAY better today.

This afternoon we see his psychologist. SO, we're on the way to some sort of balance, I hope!

Thanks so much you guys. I love you all.

MEL:banana:

Wow, three pages in three hours, eh? :)

I decided there was too much to multiquote, but here are some thoughts:

Z? I just like playing tennis. I wasn't implying other behavior. :rolleyes1 But if there was, well, you go girl! :rotfl:

I went to Williamsburg when I was maybe 10ish. My FIL & his wife went last year and loved it. :thumbsup2

I hope Sara and SD both have better days.

We have to pick up Matt's sister Rose from school at 2:48.
This strikes me as a really weird time. :rotfl2:

****************************

Well, I went and played tennis this morning. Big surprise there, no doubt. ;)

I played with my friend who has the girl twins the boys love, and then she invited us to come swim at their house after school. :thumbsup2 It's supposed to be 88 here today, so that sounds great! It's the hottest it's been since I was in Paris in the beginning of June. :headache: Weird, weird summer.

Then I think tomorrow's supposed to be OK, but the weekend is going to be rainy as Hanna heads north.

So I need to go shower, but I don't have much else going on today until we go after school. I'll be around! :grouphug:

Oh, Mel, I'm glad you feel better about it. This sounds fantastic - I sure know my tiny little school (which was great in some ways, don't get me wrong) wouldn't have been able to do any of this. It's fantastic that they are so willing to work with him and you, too!

Sweet little Kaia?!?!

Sweet little Kaia is about as sweet as Chuckie. :rolleyes1

He will be fine...and so will you! I'm so glad you're getting it worked out...you're being a proactive mommy...and you're worried about your son. Many should take an example from you!

Soooo...I have one client this morning...and then I go get my hair cut this afternoon. Thank goodness...I need this mop thinned our and dyed some shade of not grey. ;)

I hope everyone has a wonderful day...safe, happy, and healthy!!

Uh, she was here at the crack of early!

:lmao: have to laugh, cuz i know you won't say dawn. we wouldn't want her to think we were talking about her crack!!!:lmao:

The outlets are awesome:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 . When we were at BG we didn't do any of the coasters:confused3 but we wnjoyed it. We really liked the Escape from pompeii ride.

Morning everyone! Today is house cleaning day for me. :headache:

Don't really have anything else planned, maybe watch some movies.

Hi Z:goodvibes

THose types of punishments are definitely harder on us, than them.

::yes: Go back Next Wednesday. Trying not to think about it!

I'm with you on not going in the summer. I'll probably never have a meet since everyone goes in August every year. :guilty:

Dang! :headache: I didn't record it! I'll have to watch the first one on-line and record the rest. Thanks for the reminder.

That sounds great, Mel! They really seem to be intereted in him being successful. The plan will also take the pressure/guilt off of you. They will hopefully help him and you don't have to feel torn about taking him out of school every time he struggles.

What does Bob say about the meds? Does he feel differently now that he sees how the panic attacks can affect his education? :confused3

Wow, three pages in three hours, eh? :)

I agree. All moms make different choices for their kids and as long as they do what's best for their children, that's what's most important. :cloud9: Mel's a great example of being a great mom to her kids. :goodvibes

:lmao: have to laugh, cuz i know you won't say dawn. we wouldn't want her to think we were talking about her crack!!!:lmao:
That'd be a lot to talk about! :rotfl:

I'm back from taking the puppy for shots. So now we're doing school for a while. :teacher:
