Morning. Gonna be a crazy day, so don't worry if I don't check back often. I posted an update on the 876'd thread, but here's the latest chart:

storm-track.gif

Just waiting and watching, getting stuff ready just in case. :surfweb:

Oh, and Leo starts 1st grade today! He was with his dad this weekend, so I didn't get to take him to school. :guilty: But it's the same school he's been attending for years, so it's not like a big change. I'll grab a pic of him in his uniform when we get home!

So WHAT TIME SHALL I GIVE Y'ALL WAKE UP CALL'S ? ;)
I know Mel Likes Really Early... what was that again 9:00:rotfl2:
(Yes ma'am.. I still have your number in my cell ::yes:: :rolleyes1 )

OMG, Katt! You crack me up!! NO, NO WAKE UP CALLS! I'm going to Disney W/O kids!!! :)

-----------

Ok, the spreadsheet drama is sorted out! (Thanks CE!) I have a new copy, with the changes and with Margie's new number. I'm printing it today people, so NO CHANGES! :rotfl2: Does anyone need it in XLS format? I can send it along if you want it?!

V: Watching and hoping for you! I hope that Fay just decides to visit TX instead....:lovestruc Your baby is in 1st grade! Wow!

Janet: Wow! It's here, it's here!!!! :banana: Have a great flight and let us know when you arrive!

I see Lessa is all set with the new flights~ Good! :thumbsup2

Has anyone heard from Jo? I wonder how her trip is going?

Today is our appt with the Psychologist. SD is doing SUPER though. I hope that he's out of the woods, it would be a huge weight off my shoulders!!!

Bob is NOT better. :sad2: I am calling the Dr. at 9:30 and DEMANDING a new antibiotic though. My sis is a nurse and she said the one the prescribed is not the best one for that issue. Thank goodness for family medical personnel!!! Tonight is the concert. Bob is making a brave show of going but I think we'll see.... We are bringing the van so if he had to he could go back to the van and listen (it's an outdoor venue) and we could meet him back there after it's over.:confused3

I haven't packed yet either (sorry T!!!) But, I did buy the COOLEST thing for Weinerfest ( It's a surprise!!! ) and I can't wait to show you guys! Maybe today when I get back from the Drs with SD I can get packing!

MEL:banana:

Good news about SD. Not good news about Bob. I hope the new medicine works so he can enjoy the concert! :hug:

Katt sent hers, but I didn't get yours yet...
I emailed you. Let me know if you didn't get it. I sent it to your home e-mail addy.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mel- I can't believe Bob's not better! How frustrating!:mad: Good luck with the doctors.
We are starting full, all subjects school today, so that's always fun. :teacher: Then we're going out of town to see my mom for two days. I guess I won't be here to say bye to some of the fockers. :guilty:
I'll post more when I get a break in teaching. :goodvibes
Hello fellow lost fockers! Ok, those of us who are left behind - A group silent prayer for our fellow fockers on holiday. Also a prayer for those left behind and their family members in need.
Kristel...:hug:
You will definately be in my prayers. Cancer is horrible. 3 out of our 4 parents had it and 2 succomed to that disease. My Mom survived it... only to die from a broken neck and pneumonia.. 6 years ago today. With both of my parents having a form of it... and several first cousins having it and one died from Cancer... I sometimes worry about my odds.
Prayers are on the way. This must be such a hard time for all of you. When my mom had her cancer the doctor said it was not treatable. The doctor said either they got it with the surgery or it would keep spreading. She has been cancer free for 14 years. We were very lucky and I believe the prayers of our church and friends helped. Here is a hug :hug: for you all.
Kristel: :hug: for you and Dh. I am keeping fingers crossed for you guys!
MEL:banana:
Sending you lots of good mojo! :pixiedust: :goodvibes
I have been tearing up off and on all night.
My grandfather (you know the one - lung cancer, falls, etc.) headed to the ER Wed. night because of having (sorry, TMI) blood when he goes, if you KWIM.
Yeah, so now it's colon cancer, too.
I see that Kristel's DH is doing chemo, and I am so sorry. Cancer sucks. :headache:
:hug: to ce and kristal . that is so hard. sending positive vibes your way:goodvibes :goodvibes
Here are some pics from our tour of Lucas Oil Stadium, the new home of the Indianapolis Colts and the site of the 2012 Super Bowl.
Thanks everyone!!! You don't know how much I appreciate it.:grouphug: :grouphug:
CE - I am very, very sorry. My granpa died in 2000 from lung cancer. He made it for several years with half of 1 lung gone. He served in WWll and was an Indiana state trooper until he retired. He was a great guy. The last few weeks were terrible. Cancer bites the big one, definitely.
Mel - I'm happy for your DS. I am hoping they can help Bob.
Jodi - The pics are great. How NICE!!!
Not much to report. Smooth sailing, except for the part of me totally freaking over the fact that my trip is coming up fast. Yikes!!!:eek: I've got a lot to do. I wish I didn't have to work for a living!!!:mad:
Catch ya'll tomorrow!!
Hello Focker friends..............yes, I'm back......don't laugh......after "camping in the cabin", I came home yesterday to get on the computer.........and Bear ran in and chewed ANOTHER keyboard cord. :mad:
So I have bought ANOTHER one...........keyboard, not puppy........but tempting!
So how are our holidaying Fockers??
And CE-------please update, cause I know I have missed something important about your grandpa.
Hey TE! How was rugging it:laughing:
Poor Bear...you must not feed him enough:lmao:
I texted Kat. I will let you know when she responds!:thumbsup2
he he.........well, actually it was ok.........except Daran pulled his back out trying to pick up Bear before work on Friday....so he couldn't do much....I sent him home after the first nite cause the bed was so bad...........and Ab went with him cause she was bored!........but BA and her friend and I stayed and had a good time!
Well, except they made a new rule that any child under 13 needed a mom to actually attempt to swim out to the diving board with them........and I did.......in 68 degree water...........and I don't swim............so I think I need the MOTY award passed to me!
I asked BA if she felt so much safer with me in the water and she said "uh.....no, I thought I was gonna hafta rescue you!" :rolleyes:
Thanks to everyone here for all the love and kind wishes for Bob and SD. I called the Dr and got all "medievil" on their axes! They didn't change his meds for me though. :rotfl2: They did, however, put a note on his chart to have his ACTUAL Dr. call him personally and discuss things with him. (His emergency visit last week ended up being with a Nurse Pract. and then she called in some other dr.) Well, his dr. couldn't see him today either (argh!!) but she made him an appt. to come in and see yet ANOTHER Dr. and the nurse prac. again. He saw them and they all (that's 4 people so far) agree that it IS an infection and they also agree that he has to WAIT IT OUT for the antibiotic to do it's stuff. I don't know!:confused3 Poor Bob. He's being as patient as possible! He's insisting that he'll go tonight to the concert. I told him, he can sit when he's tired of standing. Gonna get him pumped up on Motrin 800 mg. before we go.
SD and I went to the psychologist this am. She's really really nice! SD seemed to like her. She basically wanted to know about him. Get his history and a feel for his personality. He was really upset a couple of times when she asked about us leaving town! :scared1: That really worried me. Then we left and as we were walking out I asked what the issue was?! He said that he was worried that he would eat something he's allergic to and die. WHAT???!!! This has never been mentioned to me. So, we talked about food allergies and how his are NOT that kind (anaphylactic) and that he could just take a benedry IF that happened but that he was only going to be eating food I MADE and left for him....
He said he never knew that you could be allergic and NOT be anaphylactic...
Gosh, wish he'd mentioned that before.....
So, he gives his blessing for us to go to FF. Thank God.
We are seeing the psychologist once more on Thurs though....
:guilty: I know we're all stressing about Fay, but I'm worried about Jen (G-Luv) She hasn't been on the DIS since last Monday. Does anyone have her number to call her? :guilty:
Ok, that's all I need to hear. I'm worried too. I have Meeska's myspace, I'll email her via that and ask her to check on G-luv for us. Jen doesn't check her myspace but every month or two!!!
Mel - Glad to hear SD is feeling a bit better. Hopefully the Dr. will get to the root cause of his problems and figure out how to help him solve it. Good thing you finally got the whole allergy issue out in the open. I can totally see my DD7 getting all worked up about something like that. Luckily, she doesn't have any food allergies.
Sorry to hear that Bob isn't any better. How long has he been on the antibiotics now? My DH went back to work today and is doing fine. A little discomfort when he sits on a hard chair, but otherwise, he's fine. :thumbsup2 We'll continue the prayers that Bob will have a miraculous recovery in time for FockerFest.
And of course, I hope Fay won't cause too many problems for everyone. When DH and I took a cruise back 8 years ago, there was a hurricane in the area and we had to divert a bit. Let me just say that I'm glad we live in the landlocked midwest (except for all the tornadoes).
